My Strawberry Gorilla seedling is coming along nicely. It's got these really unique, long, skinny leaves that are quite different from my other plants. I'm thinking it might have a similar leaf structure to my Pound Cake, which is pretty cool. It'll be interesting to see how it develops! Okay, This past week has been absolutely fantastic! The weather has been incredible, and I've been able to keep the windows open almost the entire time. My plants are thriving in the humidity, and the VPD has been perfect. Everything just feels so balanced and in check.

First off, I hope all who visit this journal watch the timelapse. I'm very happy with how it turned out. The GSC is in the foreground. Comparing the beginning to the end shows just how dramatically my plant has grown in the past week. This plant now has a photo-period neighbor! I have changed the light schedule back to 18-6 to accommodate. Her chronicles will be in a separate journal. Towards the end of week two, I noticed the leaves were forming brown spots that I took as a sign of calcium deficiency. To treat this, I used a gallon of (hard) tap water, adding calcium to the reservoir. Luckily this seems to have done the trick! The spots have been absent on all subsequent leaf growth. Sometime in the middle of this week, I had to re balance the pH from ~7 to ~6. Perhaps this pH fluctuation came from the tap water transfusion. In an effort to raise the RH in the tent, I've repetitively spilled a small amount of water on the floor of the tent. Doing this keeps the RH around 45-50%. I've made some other small changes to my grow setup as shown in the pictures. Prior to this week, I'd thought my plant was hopelessly behind developmentally compared to other user's because I'd compare their week two plants to mine. Luckily, this week has seen some growth! It's crazy how fast they shoot off after their first three-fingered leaves form. The first "real" set of leaves to grow in (not three-fingered yet), seemed to take forever to grow into their full size while not much else (besides the roots) seemed to grow. This week's three-pointed leaves have practically fully formed already. Alongside them, are the beginnings of yet more leaves! I'm not certain what I will do this next week. I may start LSTing this plant, though I'm not sure when exactly I should do this. My original plan for my plants was to implement a screen of green using a trellis. I have sense realized this may not be the best approach while using a DWC, because water changed would be made much more difficult. Have any of you DWC growers experiment with this? Is it worthwhile? I will likely not replace the water for another week, though that's not set in stone. I appreciate any advise regarding the training techniques I mentioned, water switch outs and anything else that may be relevant to this grow. I will more than likely ask a few designated questions. Donutz Final Report - Harvest Week After just over 8 weeks of flowering, the Donutz have been harvested, marking the end of an incredible journey. The plants have gone from vibrant, healthy beings to dense, sticky buds that will soon be ready for consumption. Key Updates: Harvest Time: After monitoring the trichomes closely, it was time to harvest the Donutz plants. The buds had reached their peak maturity, with trichomes showing a perfect mix of cloudy and amber hues. Final Observations: The purple phenos added some amazing color to the grow, and the smell was out of this world, like a sweet bakery in full swing. The buds are looking promising, and now it’s time to cure and enjoy the fruits of this beautiful grow. Next Steps: Harvest & Cure: The buds are drying and will soon be placed into jars to cure. It’s now a waiting game to allow the flavors and potency to develop fully. Smoke & Harvest Review: The official harvest and smoke review will be coming in about 10 days, once the buds have been properly cured. She's developing super fast each day just like her sisters in this run, let's see how she keeps developing! I only use pure water and watch them grow thanks to the amazing living soil blend that I'm working with called FLO Living soil blend, very recomended to all the organic gardeners out there!! I have Transplanted this big girl after just 17 days since she was planted, she is very well developed and so ai took the decision to transplant her and all her sisters in this run, let's see how she performs! 💚❤️💛👨‍🌾🔝

I mixed 320ml Organic Coop Poop 2-4-3, 160ml Espoma blood meal 12-0-0, and 480ml Gaia glacial rock dust per 32 gallon pot. The above listed nutrients, with the exception of ferrous sulfate, will be dry amendments premixed per gallon of soil. On day 3 I top dressed with ferrous sulfate monohydrate at the rate of 2.5ml/gallon of soil as listen in nutrients section. I didn't fill these pots above halfway with soil in the case we had heavy consistent rain. Half a pot dries faster than a whole one. I will be filling these pots completely as soon as these get more height and the rain lessens. Day 1 we had heavy dew and it was mostly cloudy. Day 2 we had a heavy dew in the morning. That afternoon we had cooler temps and intermittent rain that continued overnight. Day 3 was overcast with thunderstorms and rain that evening and night. Day 4 we had a rain shower late morning, but the sun came out mid day. Day 5 early morning 2-3 a.m. we had very heavy thunderstorm. The rest of the day was sunny and cool. Day 6 forecast was 5% rain that became 100% thunderstorm. There was heavy rain and wind on day 6 for about a hour from 9.30 a.m to 10.30 a.m., then a second round later that afternoon. Day 7 turned out very good. Lots of sunshine and a light breeze that'll help dry out that soil a bit. These soaking wet conditions we experienced this week are something cannabis seedlings survive with difficulty. I've found fastbuds genetics withstands these conditions consistently where other brands have total failure. We had a very successful week considering all of the difficulty with the weather. Fastbuds genetics have consistently withstood the harsh outdoor environment here in the Ozarks. These girls are pushing two inches and are thriving.

Week 6 - Maybe the last vegetative week. Everyone is topped and LST. I think I will let them grow in peace this week (Ill just fix the lst, no more toppings or cutting fan leaves) and install my scrog net

3 November Sunset Sherbet Well by the week this cupboard is just getting smellier, danker and bushier.
Vey good I’d say, most of all the branches had reached the scrog net and most of the branches has already been threaded through to maintain the same height. While flipping to flower I noticed that the Sunset-Sherbet is making a lot more pistols due to this but not as fast as the Do-Si-Wine plant is making pistols. ( biggest leaf 17cm 😵 ) Do-Si-Wine This lady while growing vigorously to the top has thin stems which it makes more prone to bending / snapping but luckily haven’t had that problem het of a side branch bending while threading it through the scrog, but I did notice that the branches are a bit more fragile. This lady is making pistols like no tomorrow, every cola / node I can see is making pistols and this lady just wants to go full throttle. On the site it said that this is moderate growth difficulty and yes it is, thin branches, fragile and long lengthy branches. ( biggest leaf 14 cm )

This week everything went as I figured it would she has made a little jump 😄. I'm so happy that she has matured.Sorry that I took a minute to post for week 4 . Hopefully she should start to get her bud site started in week 5 I can't wait to post her.

7ft tall doing high stress training to bend down. Tent is maxed. All under control day21 frosty oh my!

This is more of an equipment gathering project-first grow so I want to keep it simple and budget friendly, I ordered autos for my first grow but Oregon Elite Seeds sent a free gorilla Girl from Sweet Seeds. Super psyched for my first grow! Day1. Soaked seeds for 4 hours in bottled water, used paper towel method with 100% sprouts within 18 hours inside dark tent at 80 degrees (heater and air purifier) and 40% humidity. Hoping to plant directly into prepared soil (6.9 ph currently) in 24 hours. Day 2. Planted Critical OG Kush and Blackberry Autos 1/4 directly into 8 gallon cloth pots (these are the wrong pots-they are wax lined but the pandemic made getting the aeration pots unavailable-I may have to transfer later). Very lightly watered. i prepared my soil mix and had it acclamated to the grow room. I opened the air vents at each end of the grow room and set heat to 78, placed a bowl of water for humidity and started oscillating fan for airflow. Planted Gorilla Girl in a tupperware dish till i can get something more suitable. I really need another light but shipping just isn't working out. Day 4: 1 OG Critical was culled do to lack of progress. Gorilla Girl hs been repotted and looks fine. The Blackberry are much leggier than the others at this point. I'm watering just enough to get to the roots with bottled spring water. Day5 : the girls just woke up-posted pics. 1 light and 6 plants is not ideal. I'm not sure if I should put the strain that is naturally shorter under the light directly or focus on the tall ones getting enough light to not stretch. Comments appreciated. Day 6: Ligthts off after a 20 hour on cycle. I was concerned that my light insn't adequate spacially. I dropped it down to 15 inches above the seedling and got it tropical in the tent. I also used a 6500k 15 watt shop light for added light color and they enjoyed it, except for 1 had a bit of yellow. I will post photos when they wake up to see how they look after this light/heat/water boost for 20 hours. My Gorilla Girl is the only one that isn't above 2 inches. That one was planted deeper (1 inch instead of1/4th like the others. I did have some "seed helmets" so next time I will go a little over 1/4 inch deep. Qweeby's roots grew like a wad instead of down. I've had to readjust her placement twice because the roots act like they want to be on the surface. I'm excited to see them in 4 hours. I may cull one and start a different seed. The Blackberry Kush is stretchy which seems nice for a new grower like me. I am trying to limit the stretch so they match the Critical OG height but they are hearty toddlers. Day 7: Added a 3000w LED off ebay. I didn't account for the rise in heat but it only got up to 84. Raised it from 18" to 20" and got more air flowing through. One plant has a little yellowing from the inside of the main leaves (inside to out) but it's barely there so I'm going to check PH meter and easy watering since yesterday I did water more then I have thus far-so it could be a little root lock from too much water.

Weekly update. Sorry it was a late update this week I was out of town (Bizcon2024). Wow have they grown, I'd say doubling in size. I've upped the watering to 1000ml daily, this week I'll do a major defoliation and lollipoping. All in all Happy

Girl Scout Cookies Auto was suddenly ready to get chopped - I would've like to see a few more amber trichomes, but the fan leaves started yellowing faster, and more sugar leaves got crispy tips. Also, the smell got pretty strong over the last week or so. It was a very nice grow, and I'm curious on the yield and effect after drying and curing. Yuhbar Auto still needs a little more time, and will enjoy a few more days or weeks under the (artificial) sun, giving the trichomes more time to ripen.

Haven't been remembering to post weekly updates! Everything is going great the auto flower girls are budding nicely and the other ladies are starting to flower nicely I'm giving alternating nutrients using a few different fox farm nutrient feed charts with my own take on them from notes an suggestions. This is the part that is so enjoyable but so stressful!
