Last days in veg!

Only 2 Pistles are showing very early flower. Plant doesn't seem to be getting any taller this is a genetic issue I think. Going to a different breeder next run. I think they are white label genetics.

Hello Diary. New diary, in the fifth farm I have three new residents, one Fat Banana and two Haze Berry. Both sides are from the Royal Queen Seeds. And this diary is dedicated only to Fat Banana. I would like to thank the team from the Royal Queen Seeds who have recognized my efforts in keeping a diary and greatly support me in what I love. I always try to make a balance between sativa and indica, since I do creative work, I am a big fan of sativa, although in the evening, when my obligations are over, I like to relax with indica. So this time I planted two Haze Berry Auto that are predominantly sativa and one Fat Banana which is more indica. WHY FAT BANANA? Fat Banana Automatic stinks of tropical fruits and produces large, chubby flowers. The strain is the autoflowering version of Fat Banana, an aromatic classic. The original made her mark on the cannabis world with her insane scent, massive THC level, and rewarding yield. Fat Banana Automatic inherited indica-dominant genetics from the original strain. Much like her predecessor, she provokes a body-slamming high par excellence. Her effects take hold immediately, plunging users into a euphoric state of relaxation. Fat Banana Automatic’s potency also gives her medicinal viability. Her calming nature is effective at reducing stress, and the physical aspect of her high may help to relieve aches and pains. LET'S START FIRST WITH THE FARM SET-UP: Box - Secret Jardin DS120W 120x60x178 Lights - MIGRO 200+ Ventilation - Blauberg Turbo - E 100 Filter - Primaklima filter PK 100/125 Fan - Oscillating Koala Fan x2 Humidifier - Beurer LB 45 Soil - BIOBIZZ Light - Mix Pot - 11L AirPot Seed - Royal Queen Seed Nutrition - BioBizz and RQS Organic nutrition LET THE DIARY START OFFICIALLY: 14/09/2020 Planting. I prepared everything I needed for planting, cleaned the farm and changed the filter. I put Primaklima filter - PK 100/125. This time I decidet for AirPots, I also used them in the first two farms, BioBizz-Light Mix is ​​already standard on my farm and Easy Boost and Easy Roots Mycorrhiza Mix from RQS as organic nutrition. Since the first farm I use only organic fertilizers and for now I have used BioBizz and RQS organic nutrition. After I put the soil in the pot, I added 50g of Easy Boost Organic nutrition and mixed it well with the soil, after that I added 5g of Easy Roots Mycorrhiza Mix and also mixed everything once more. I prepared 7 liters of water in which I regulated p.H with Plagron’s Lemon Kick, and soaked the soil well before making a hole in which I put the seed. Otherwise, the water would have pushed the seed much deeper into the ground. After the planting is completed, they enter their new home. The temperature in the Box at that time was 26 degrees and the humidity was slightly below 60%. I set the lights 35cm from the pots as Migro recommends. 14 - 17/09/2020 I sprayed the surface of the soil with water a couple of times to keep the soil moisture at the surface. Also the humidity dropped so I put on a humidifier for a couple of days. 18/09/2020 Fat Banana sprouted, a day later from her first roommate Haze Berry. 19/09/2020 Watering. I watered with about a liter of water with regulated p.H. 23/09/2020 Watering. Regulated by p.H. at 6.4 and gave her approximately 1 liter of water. I think Grow Diaries made a great decision to put this germination week as an option, yet that germination process is just as important and it’s great to have room to write more and show how each of us does it. Grand Daddy Purple auto is doing good. She is stretching a lot. Her colas are starting to develop. She is looking really good. She does have the slightest burn on her tips. Being it has no curl up, this would be a potassium deficiency. I recently increased her blooming nutrition. She is growing really well in asmall potter. Nothing more to report. This is the 8th week. Thursday will be 9 weeks of 12/12. Some trichs are amber. They just added a good bunch of girth over the past few days, but most of the pistils are red now. The rest of them have been dropping leaves consistenly but the canopy remains full so they must be putting out more leaves. I just flushed to 80% runoff and found out that I had 1200ppm. I just got an ec meter but my last reading said closer to 600 so idk what happened there. I flushed until I had runoff ppm of about 150. Now they're back in the grow tent. I don't want to keep assaulting them with my microscope. I think they're ready. Just gonna let them settle another day or two to dry out a bit. I took one small branch off the small Wedding Cake plant on Thursday and I've just been watching it dry on my counter. It's been 5 days and the stem snaps but still leaves a fiber connecting. I put it into a small jar with a 64RH thing. I just want to try it. It already smells amazing. The leaves on the big CBD Blue Shark plant are going really yellow and some other colours are starting to come out as well. The buds all fattened up and got more frosty again. I was worried they were foxtailing but they got more calyxes underneath the peaks and have been making more of a pyramid shape. They're really close to peak. Harvest day will be March 17 or 18. March 17 1023pm chopped and hung after lights off all day. RH was 65% before I chopped and 50% after I closed the window and cut the plants off the saturated pots. I did a wet trim to prevent mold. The buds are sticky af. Gonna hang them to dry for 7-9 days before curing in jars :) March 18 : checked the RH when I woke up and it's chilling at 45% 😎 March 19 : just checked to see how they were drying. There are seeds in every plant. RIP I'll update when I put them in jars and again a few weeks later for final review. Overall it was a good grow despite the rocky start and a good introduction to the mainline technique and my new grow space. Next grow I should have everything pretty well dialed in. March 23 They were hanging for 3 days. Rh was around 45, then spiked to 65 overnight when I forgot to turn the fans back on. Temp was high at around 26.they felt wet after 2 days, and bone dry after 4 days. The stems still didn't snap but I put them in jars anyway. A day later, jar RH was 50%. I burped all the jars and there was a smell from the new jars. I took all the weed out, washed out the jars, and did a dry trim on the weed. One of the Wedding Cake plants must have gone hermie. I didn't see any bananas and didn't even realize there were seeds until the very end. The seed pods looked just like calyxes while the plants were growing. Many of the nugs are unusable. Under the sugar leaves are just layers and layers of seeds. Some weren't hit that badly. The CBD Blue Shark is much better off but still has some seeds. I'm trying to stay positive. It's a bit of a shock though. I'm anxious to try the finished product. If the flowers at least taste good and have a good effect, all is not lost.

The growth was delayed 5 days, I think it was due to the lack of ca-mg, but they are already 100% recovered to give some good flowers, give them love 💚

This is a strain that is very easy to grow and resistant, after the fourth week it sticks a lug, and does not need a lot of vitamins, it grew with only 13 and 12 hours of light and went through cloudy days and a lot of humidity

Week 4 - 01/22 to 01/28 2021 Pictures from Days 25 + 26 TRANSPLANTED! 1.) I think the Purple Lemonade might have flipped into preflower already like the other Red Poison and Dark Devil 2.) Think the Purple Lemonade has Tobacco Mosaic Disease? No worries for me dur only thing I can see with the streaking/twisted new growth but the Purple Lemonade is doing fine otherwise 😈 More and more reasons to go back to a photoperiod grow after this for more control/really test out the new lights 🙌 Ended up more 50/50 ratio of Destiny Organic's Dark Matter Living Soil + ProMixHP since I had to make the Destiny last. Apparently they went out of business just after I decided it was my favourite/new soil :( Would rather stay away from Ocean Floor since I haven't had the best experiences with it (bugs/rust fungus etc) Feel free to drop some recommendations other than Fox Farms below 👍 Moved the Purple over to it's final 5gal on Jan 26 and started light LST + watering from the bottom of the tray to coax the roots down as opposed to a top pour. Still giving them hourly sprays of basic water foliar and the light water/hydrogen peroxide spray mixed in here and there for piece of mind/extra cleaning from the soil contact during transplant. Looks like bits of purple/red flecks are starting to creep in to the stems so hopefully keeping my window open at night to drop the temperatures will pull some great colours in my tent for the first time 😻👹😈 I raised the @ViparSpectraLED P1500 another eight inches after transplant and started basic LST. I really wanted to get these four under a ScrOG but if 3/4 are already flipping and the LSD is still runty I might have to wait it out again. I have the @MarsHydroLED TSL2000 set up and ready to go once the girls settle into their new pots. Have the new surge protector/heavy duty power cords/power tool grade timers as mentioned in Week 3. There was mixed weather again all week. She took some heavy rain and I therefore skipped the nutrients for a few days because she was soaked in water all the time. This caused a slight nutrient deficit that I hope to compensate the next few days with regular feedings. I had to take some leafs of that were yellow... But all In all she is doing fine and she is gaining flower mass. And she starts to smell really nice.

This week can be simplified as EXPLOSION!! The plant doubled in size and I can see many main branches now, which is pretty awesome!! This is exactly what is LST is for, right!? I am pretty amazed for seeing this explosion in the 2nd week of flowering and cannot wait to introduce the booster when flowers are going to be a little bigger, in around 6~10 days. Now I'm keeping training her for at least 5 days, and then I'll stop so she can focus on flowering. At the e moment I'll stop training her she will also be able to have more space for herself in the tent as the other plant are going to be chopped pretty soon (other diary updated). This girls has grown to 2 feet tall in just 30 days. If she keeps at this pace we should see a very nice plant.

Not much to say apart from they are getting bigger and all three seem to be girls now 11 days until I flip! Edit: I'm happy with the training and keeping them low, so the aim is to flip this week

So this week I am starting to notice some watering issues I have cause early in the veg cycle I should have a payed a little more attention but noticed that I habe water logged my soil in a single plant causing soil lock and not completely drying out like the others between watering I will try to correct course this finally week of veg before changing over to flower. But the smells are definitely stronger excited to see this last bit of growth and it's time to start taking clones for another run

Random bagseed I found, was my first plant. Even though I messed up a lot and this plant didn't turn out as I had hoped, it was an invaluable learning experience and I look forward to using what I learned to make my future plants greater. Wet Trimmed and placed in jars in the mini-fridge to dry.
