Lodzik The first plants just appeared a few hours ago. I wanted to try Anesia earlier. So I'm very curious about the effects 😇🍀. And it's also my first time growing under LED light. Was Spider Farmer LED a good choice? I used to grow under sodium. So far 4 out of 5 plants are peeking out of the soil. But I'm counting on all 5 to be in the world when I wake up in the morning 🍀👍🙂.

Lodzik This week, I repotted the plants into their final 5L pots. I gradually increased the LED light output every day. Now I am using 40% of the light output. The plants look in great condition and are thriving. (Only one plant is about 3 days behind the others). Soon the plants will have 3-4 layers of leaves and I will trim them. Maybe using the FIM method. I have already ordered a humidity and temperature meter, which will be delivered in a few days. 🍀✌️

Lodzik Hi everyone, the plants look healthy, though I'm a bit surprised by their growth pattern. The nodes are very close together with short internodal spacing. It might be due to the LED light or perhaps the genetics. What do you think? When I used HPS (high-pressure sodium) lamps, the plants seemed to stretch more with larger gaps between nodes. I performed defoliation on all plants today (see photos). The last 7 photos show them before the defoliation. The LED is currently running at 50% power (out of 300W). Is it a good idea to skip all nutrients for one watering and just use water with enzymes? Thanks for the advice! 🍀

Honestly, my personal take: This is not a good idea when your nutrient line is stable and plants perform well. For the biology, this will achieve nothing, unless you have certain problems pending already. Add the enzymes last in your nutrient mix and apply fresh. They will get working on the locked out nutrient depots in your soil slowly and prevent salt formation. Unless you apply poison in your nutrient line, go ahead and just add a meaningful dose of enzymes last.

I think is soil is well firtlized already, and usally I feed twice a week or follow the plan of the firtlizer company. but probably not good to feed everyday so give them abreak with just water 💦

Personally, I do not fertilize any more frequently than every 10-14 days when growing in soil. Generally, a schedule of plain water/plain water/fertilizer works for me. However, I do start with a home made pre-amended soil mix, the recipe of which has taken years to refine. Never fertilize every time you irrigate when growing in soil, the chances of nutrient salts building up to toxic levels are real.
