First week of flower at last!! We didnt feel like waiting another 2-3 weeks for the next tent to clear so we setup a temporary 18hr space for moms and clones, both tents are officially 12hrs now (we just ordered a 3rd tent)..the Bangers have been in flower for 2 days now and they were definitely ready, they've already grown a few inches since Wednesday...we started bloom nutrients last week and cut grow solution this week..they couldn't look happier atm..I think we're in for a fantastic yield (i just hope we don't outgrow the space )..we also have 10 Solo cups tucked behind these of our own cross all flowering at once... We intend to lower the MarsHydro around week 3 of flower...we only grabbed 1 cutting of the Bangers so I'm REALLY hoping it takes because having mom of this wouldn't suck.. thanks for dropping by and reading my novel if you chose to do so lol, happy harvests friends!!

I’m actually Super happy they sprouted on the 1st it just makes keeping track of what day your on so much smoother l think, but I think one was having a hard time getting the shell

Okay, that's it, I couldn't watch her suffering like that anymore. Her trichomes could've gone a little longer, but her overall appearance clearly was over it. The lack of aroma and stickiness from the trichomes worries me, but I do know how much she struggled during flower and that the nutrient availability in the soil was off, so I'm not really surprised. I've downgraded my expectations for the end result quite a bit over the last couple of weeks to a more realistic level considering the circumstances.
For drying I'm trying something new - I've got a wine chiller, a poor man's Cannatrol, that I want to keep the temps low during drying in summer and for curing and storing in general. Curious to see what effect this has on the dried buds.

- harvest was today on day 58, she is the fastest yet bigest auto i grew so far
- now drying in my drytent with the carbon filter on
- as usual harvest report will be up in 10-14 days when everything is dry and trimmed so stay tuned

Here we are at the beginning of week 5.
All the 6 of the girls are looking well but the cherry cola is the most vigorous out of them all.
The little buds are just starting to form and she is still stretching a few centimetres a day, i have a feeling she is going to be a big girl.

grow strategy:
max yield by stressing with:
1. tiny shoes (2 l fabric pots standing on 3 plastic rings (4 cm) for max oxygen)
2. tiny growspace (18plants on 0.72 sqm)
3. many strains (8 strains)
4. annoying neighbourhood (mixing old - i.e. bubblegum (late 80's) - with young- i.e. hazeberry (2018) - genetics)
5. no stress by light or food or water
6. unintentionally too much food
plus:
- no lst - no hst - just leaf tucking
- positioning bigger strains (euphoria, orange bud, haze berry) or just bigger phenos on less intense light spots (end of tent + edges)
- music-rotation: 24 hrs reggae (for sativas) - 24 hrs classicals (because it's scientifically proofed) - 24 hrs traditionals from the hindukush region (for the indicas)
max efficiency (min electricity - max yield):
- light: 23 h on - 1 h off
- keeping the distance of 18" (45 cm) and dimming to the right par (lux) - value depending on growing stages (see sheet: beginning 185 par ( 10000 lux/100 watt )/end 340 par ( 18000 lux/175 watt )) => ends up in approx. 170 watts in average over max 15 weeks
temperatur management:
- using approx. max. half of what the lamp can do keeps temperature low:
my tsl 2000 is pulling max. 360 watts of the wall - i need only 175 watts, results in less temperature than using a 175 watts lamp
- adjusting the temperature by using a humidifier outside of tent:
blown in humidity is soaking degrees and is transported out by fan, works much better than doing the same with pure air
summer extreme: no humidifier: 36°C / 35 rh - with humidifier: 29°C / 65 rh
works for 1-2 weeks of real hot summer days, no mould, no signs of stress in two summers
germination:
seeding in waterglass
spraying "basic"-water: ro-water (22 ppm) + calmag to 180 ppm every 4 - 8 hours until sprouted
man versus fungus gnat:
5 days before seeding i'm running the tent with "basic"-watered pots as if there were plants inside - led on, fans on, humidifier on. Fungus gnats coming with the soil might take the chance to come out now for breeding. i'm waiting with a 9 mm rifle. in the past i found 6 gnats in 2 of 8 x 50 l biobizz lightmix bags coming out of the soil. i could eliminate every single gnat successfully ;)
rotating harvest:
the little ones will be harvested completely when ready. at this point only the top branches of the big ones will be cut...and the new (basic-watered) pots of the new grow will move into the tent. 2-3 weeks later the secod half of the big ones will be cut and the second half of the new grow will move in...
nutes:
biobizz / soil: biobizz lightmix
bloom,grow,topmax,activera,algamic
+ aminopower instead of bio heaven (too expensive)
individual feeding schedule/once a week:
veg: 200 - 600 ppm
bloom: 600 - 900 ppm

I water with a lot of water and I plant directly in my mixture of 70% coco, 30% perlite.
Water : tap water at 280ppm. I adjust the Ph to 6.
Temperature : 24°C
Humidity : 60%

Changed the reservoir for flower this week.
*Athena proline is measured in grams per gallon. The option isn’t allowed on grow diaries so I had to use an online converter for tsp to grams. *
Defoliation and readjusting of the ties seems to happen daily at this point.
In hindsight I left to many flowering sites, i was afraid I wouldn’t get a decent yield 😂. Removing more would have saved me time defoliating and readjusting the branches in the later stages.
I was surprised at how well the auto took to topping and training I’ve done so often. Really happy with the root system. Video added.

Freaked out this week cause I couldn't smell the plants anymore. Turns out I caught covid, yay! Not much content because I was resting up mostly. Getting plants ready for chop, many seed packs say you can chop by week 8 of flower - that's actually the earliest one can harvest. If given the time like a home grow, one can wait 1-2 weeks longer to harvest. Also in the cases of sativas like mine, they can flower for up to 12-16 weeks.

Y cómo no aquí va la sexta semana de vida de las red hot cookies(sweetseeds) ,hace una semana que cambie el fotoperiodo a 12/12 con lo cual empieza la floración, es una variedad la cual salió al mercado este año 2020, con lo cual es bastante nueva la variedad en si.
.
La humedad la tengo al 50% la temperatura está entre 21/24 grados , y el ph está en 5,8/6,0.

Esta semana, ya recuperadas de la poda apical y Fim les hago la poda de bajos o lollilopping, entutado y Scrog.
Es mi primer cultivo y se me han descontrolado las sativas en altura y en cantidad de plantas, pero voy a ver si me apaño y saco Al menos buenas copas...
He regado 2 días con fertilizantes con 1.1 de ec y otro con solo agua y enzimas.
Hoy comprobé el ec del sustrato midiendo el agua sobrante y algunas plantas me ponían 1.8 ec y otras 2.5 ec...
Me aconsejáis que siga regando para que sobre agua por el macetero ? Estoy usando maceteros de 11 litros y estoy regando 500ml, excepto esta última vez que les he echado 1.5 litros y solo les salió del macetero unos 250ml.

The week went well, the truth turned off the light for two days and the plant was a day without light at all, then the next day put near the window, the sun was bright enough, then turned on, now the plant is under 600 watts HPS Sylvania . tomorrow or after tomorrow I plan to transplant the plant into 10 gallons of a pot of airpot for the roots go beyond the pot ,very powerful. I also plan to do another topping and do scrog😋 is it too late for scrog? What do you think?😅

Vamos familia, que ya acabamos este proyecto, última semana de floración de estas Purple OG kush de Dutchfem.
Lleva un par de semana solo agua y un lavado de raíces , empezaron amarillear y a comer ya los pocos nutrientes que les van quedando.
Ya tengo muchas ganas de acabar con este proyecto.

Las maximas de temperatura no superan los 26 grados y las mínimas no bajan 20, así que no me puedo quejar.
Los niveles de humedad también son los correctos van entre 50%/55% de humedad relativa.
Por supuesto el Ph lo estamos dejando alrededor de 6.
