Quick update on Fractal #2! Defoliated and bent some leaves to prevent moisture buildup. Fed with all three nutrients from the booster pack. WEEK 2 DAY 14 Since last week the babies have taken off! They didn’t have much light until yesterday when I added another 100w led and since then I’ve seen a huge difference ! They are looking super healthy the roots said fuck the pot and grew right through it I’m actually super interested in seeing how these grow up.. The 3 clones that were separate last week are now moved into one single pot to further develop the experiment. They are on the same feed as the mother with flora grow/micro/bloom and cal-mag . And In the last picture you can see my ghettos man way of cloning .. going to see which 2 out of 4 are better rooted and I will move those to a pot in about a week or so. Week 3 update and all systems go for launch. We’re flipping to flower exactly 21 days from seed and so far, the mix looks to be impressive. Counting about 4 males (one that won’t make the cut), 2 indica leaning phenos and the rest are sativa leaning. Side branching has also been impressive so we should be able to pull some rootable cuts within the next week or two. If we got the sexes right (it is a little early to be certain), then the dutchy cabinet will be full up for bud testing👍. Next week will tell the tale🤟. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Back to the Grow PH was at 7 when the pots were dry and returns to 6.5 after the feeding. I'll let the foliage build one more time so I can transplant into their 7 gal pots for flowering, this will add a tremendous amount of new fresh soil for the roots to thrive in during the early budding stage lights up to 95w about 60% on the dimmer. Whew, I am a few days late in posting but I have been MIA. Glad to be back to my plants and gardening. My faithful follower @hindugod even reached out to me to see why I was late in posting my pictures. A Disney Vacation was good for me but not so much for my plants. I also left my husband and two livestock in charge of feeding and protecting my plants from the elements of nature. Miss Dosido continues to dance and grow!! She is dancing her way to 30 inches tall!! And, she had begun to flower. Take a look at the magnified flowering picture!! Our weather has been kinda crazy and hellish- as in HOT- and her leaves are getting burned on the edges even though I have a pool umbrella protecting her from the direct sun. From the looks of my top of the coco it seems like I was over watering. I seem a bit of algae growth, my coco stay moist for 4-5 days it seem like. So should my nute feeding be huge or give them small daily feeding in between the large watering?

Last week of the vegetation stage for the ladies. I added some urb to the nutrient mix and gave the plants two measuring spoons each of the bat guano as a top dress on 17/01/21. I defoliated the plants and flipped the switch to 12/12 on 17/01/21.
