26/09 Today, at the beginning of the second week of color, I nevertheless decided to remove a few unnecessary and interfering stakes. This week the new growth of the plants transitioned from looking relatively healthy to droopy and yellowed. I wasn't sure what the issue was at first and thought it might be light stress. After more research, I determined that I had what looked very much like a zinc deficiency, which is almost always a symptom of over-watering, which is the most common mistake for new growers, i.e. "Me". I had assumed that adding a good amount of perlite to my soil and using smart pots would prevent me from running in to any drainage issues but I guess not. I was up to 1.5 liters per plant when I realized that it was too much. I also realized I was misreading my syringe which I use to mix nutrients, and that i had been giving only 1/10 of the liquid nutrients that I thought. I'm super embarrassed about the mistake but I'm going for full transparency here, so there it is. Course correction takes places after day 31.

This week brought excellent weather with temperatures reaching 33°C (91°F) and plenty of sunshine. I've observed nearly 10 cm (4 inches) of vertical growth, with the plant expanding both upwards and outwards. The buds are visibly thickening, and trichome production has become quite evident, creating a beautiful layer of frosty, resinous sugar leaves. The aroma is now more pronounced, although not yet overwhelmingly strong. Overall, the plant appears robust with a sturdy stem measuring slightly over 3 cm (1.2 inches) in diameter. The foliage is a deep, vibrant green, indicating good health. The lateral branches are now also producing buds. I have reduced the fertilization to the standard 5 ml per liter (0.17 fl oz/gal), now exclusively using Terra Bloom. The plants have become noticeably thirstier. Today, they were exposed to rain and absorbed over 0.5 liters (0.13 gallons) of rainwater, with a pH value of 7.46. Low-Stress Training (LST) is no longer being actively applied, it is only being adjusted as needed

Today is the harvest day for Red hot cookies. To be honest they were ready to chop after 7 weeks of 12/12. One green poison and one gorilla girl which is more indica leaning are also ready and I think I ll chop them too. Two gorilla girls and two green poisons still have some days to fully mature, bu its a week tops. One of the Red Hot cookies showed these beautiful dark purple, orange, yellow combination on its leaves which I always dreamed of having in my garden. Im super happy :) Combined with the ridiculous frostiness in the middle, she's definitely one of the most beautiful plants I've had so far. Cheers everyone.

A microbe product, PH going into the medium is around 6.5-6.8 and coming out is between 5.5-5.8, so something is acidifying it up. Also noticed the runoff last week was a bit higher at times. So lowered the feed down quite a bit, going in at 1.4EC vs 1.8 will bump it up to 1.5 and 1.6 in the next few weeks. Start of week 5 gonna hit these girls with some water ph’d a little bit higher see if that helps with the white tips but seems to be doing better Update 3/13: fed them with 1/3 of a gallon each plant with feed ph’d at 7.5 blue lab pen said my soil ph was at 5.7 causing the white tips let’s see how these girls do within the next 3 days 3/17 update soil PH has been brought up to 6.5.. all good and doing wat better end of week 5

Cold wind: Autumn is coming soon! 🍃 This is the middle of the flowering cycle for 2 plants and the beginning for the others; and it’s harder than I imagined. Interminable war against pests: caterpillars and leafminer flies (+ guest :aphids). However the environment is clean, there is some sticky traps, ventilation and preventives treatments (Neem Oil, Garlic/Laurel) but infestation are a recurring problem 😩. Majors reasons of the proliferation are the hot temperatures in greenhouse, the quasi inexistants natural predators, humidity, plants proximity. September is the reproduction period of the cabbage looper: a butterfly which lays eggs on plants giving some hungry caterpillars. Some others pests are attracted by the nitrogen added in soil (batguano) I did a serious defoliation, continue to check the plants morning and night to catch intruders, sprayed regularly with Neem oil. For the moment the flowering continues. -Brake Pad Breath: plant has definitely changed of physiognomy, branches are covered by a lots of resinous flowers with a pretty good smell. Indica dominance. Around 3 or 4 weeks till the harvest. It will be long: the plant is a victim of pests and caterpillars and lots of leaves are damaged. -Flash Back#2: elegant plant, pretty good flowering since 3 weeks. Globally healthy despite of the pests aggression. Sativa dominance with long internodes distance and a vigorous stretch. -GMO x Zombie Kush: same difficulties against predators, late flowering, just initiated the flowering process but in a good way. -Royal Moby: the tallest one; around 170cm, not really adapted to dimensions of the growing space and not discrete. Plants was really shocked during the first wave of pests and after the sunburn. Flowering day 34 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The buds have developed incredibly nicely this week. The smell is getting more and more extreme :-) . The growth has slowly stopped as the full energy goes into the production of the buds. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.2 l (nutrients see table above) They were individually inspected and checked for their health.
