Started with some bent which really made side branching take off. I'm just doing leaf tucking, all branches get plenty of light, so no need for bending IMO. One is quite a bit bigger than the other, if this is a fenotype thing or something I did we will never know since the sample is too small to make conclusions... So its the one in the slightly smaller pot that is bigger. Also, I switched positions between both to see if this makes difference... but I never noticed hotspots or such in my earlier grows.... One of my annoyances of small-scale operations is that there is never enough data to be able to make conclusions based in facts. It could always be nature or nurture, because I lack control groups. Maybe my government will someday finally see the backwater retardedness of our way of dealing with cannabis. For now no other option than staying within the law. I like weed and growing but I like my freedom more. The XL Runtz are remarkably resistant and vigorous, with extreme growth in just under three weeks after germination. Beautiful plants and they handle a high light / high organic nute situation from very early on. Coming week I'll just be leaf tucking, no further LST since they are already going into flower. Ill be adding BAC Organic Flower coming days along with my solution of wood ash and perma tea. Also Ill be starting the three 56 ltr growbags to start the three regulars that will run in the same 18 hr lightschedule. And that light, trusty SP-3000, what a machine, what results so far and how reliable so far. She doesn't get too warm at all, just contributes to a nice greenhouse atmosphere without any climate management other than me checking temps and RH. Usually, I need no adjusting, no ventilation, no heating or airco, my system is pretty self-containing and autonomous in the stabile attack where it is. And lets be real, I get results as in grams per watt and per plant that only the 600 watt / Hydroponic guys get. With organic growing, in such small scale with 300 watt. So thank you Mars Hydro again for letting us try it and if you are in the market for a new light check www.mars-hydro.com for their current deals! Thanks all for following again. Hug Bud

Time for her to go to the dark room. She has finally finished up her growth it was my first time growing this strain I will do much better next time up. Now it is harvesting and curing then testing to see how she taste. Didn't get much out of her but the best things come in small packages.I will keep GD updated on the curing and how much did I come out with hope I have better luck next time on the size I really learn alot from the GD family.

Day 15 - (video) went in and did a round of defoliation, focusing mainly on fan leaves, clearing out the underbrush to help improve air circulation. Despite this being my first mainline, I'm feeling pretty proud of my work so far. 😊 Day 16 - I've made it through the boring part of the flowering hump, and I now have little baby buds forming. 💕 I still struggle with deciding how much / how little to keep as far as undergrowth and side branches, but I am happy with how she's grown thus far! Her roots are ridiculous! I am having to add a gallon to my reservoir at least every other day. 💦 She's a tank! 😜 I took a few cuttings from this plant and very lazily used my own saliva as a rooting gel and tossed them in water in a window. All of them have rooted. These genetics are strong 💪💪 💪 . It's starting to smell a little happy in the tent too. 😉

Hey guys! Another update! The flowers are growing big and strong, the smell is stronger too. 👽 This week I also decided to add the Phosphorus and Potassium supplements to the plants... but I'm trying to do it slowly, I don't want to stress my plants thanks to the nutrients so I'll add little of each and see how things develop! Some small trichomes are also starting to develop, which looks quite beautiful. Besides that not much happened so I'm glad. I also missed some waterings (no surprise, more can be seen in the timelapse) but once again the girls recovered rather fast! Damn you heeeat! 😅 Anyway, see you all in my next update! 👋

So far so good, eager to have the auto flowers finish up so I can focus on the photo period. Both auto flowers are being fed full strength with big bud powder added as well. Trained the photoperiod with plenty of lst hoping to start flowering her in 2 weeks max

The temps are higher now because of the house being around 77 degrees. The humidity is staying low. Wondering if I should start flushing to start getting ready for harvest.

My first ever harvest went great! I trimmed 3 different ways as well as flushed for different amounts of time. 24hr flush and wet trim with bowl trimmer, dried on dry rack. Aprox 4 ounces as i was smoking it soon as it dried, small buds first. 🤷‍♂️🏻 3 day flush. Wet trimmed by hand. Hung to dry. 119 grams Last two ladies were the bushy ones. I let them flush for a full week and then hung to dry. We hand trimmed them both(not as close of trim) to make edibles and oils with. 412 grams! I think I did pretty well on my harvest. I have over a pound of bud! I’m all smiles!

A strain I’ve been very keen to get going! AK is a real classic and an iconic strain for me, I’ve given her a 5Gal fabric pot with BioBizz Light mix and I’ve added some beneficial bacteria and mycorrhizal fungi to support the infrastructure development. Off to a flying start, literally 72hours from seed to saying hello. Poked her head up yesterday so Day 1 is 30/03/20. Let’s see how this week goes. I plan to keep a close eye on the environmental conditions and to ensure she’s being fed some gentle nutrients, CalMag to begin with followed by some BioBizz Grow for the extra nitrogen needed at this delicate time 👌 See you all next week, I hope with more leaves to show 🌱✌️ Peace and love, stay safe

Harvest time! Only this time there were some problems that made me take another approach. The thrips are still active so I thought it would not be very wise to lock them up together with the bud inside a paper bag. So I’ve decided to just cut the entire top part of the plant main stem and all, and hang them inside the top of the tent. But ofcourse not before I have given them a thorough shake. Then from the lower part of the plant where still some bigger buds, which I’ve also cut, trimmed and shaken clean, before they did ended up inside the bag, leaving just the lowest part of the plant with all of the small buds I’ve intended to use to germinate and create some seeds. At this point the remaining part of the plants are inside my small garden greenhouse, and I’ll keep you posted if it’s going to succeed. Normally I’d preferred to trim the bigger leaf from the wet branches, then dry inside my paper bag and finally trimming the dry buds for bringing up the final bag appeal. Only now I’d chose to only remove the fan leaf and hang drying. I turned the ventilation almost on the lowest setting during drying. As I said with the strain review, I’m happy with the results from plant A and C. Plant B started revegging, and thus ended up with a lower end weight. A shame because it had the biggest buds. The positive thing about dry trimming is that you don’t actually have to trim anything, it takes a bit more time, but you can literally push the leafs from the bud.

I was unable to use the full power of the Optic 2 LED due to height and heat issues. This was impacting the amount of light each plant was receiving thus stunting their growth (you’ll see the before and after pictures above). I have now brought/installed the HLG 260w Rspec and have noticed a improvement. The new light covers the canopy well and I am now able to give the plants more light which will hopefully help them develop better buds. The Dos-Si-Dos have responded well and is really starting to pack on some weight and she is starting to form some nice buds I will continue to use my PK to help her along, next time I will start the PK at the first sign of flower as I feel from week 4 is a little late. Happy growing 🤙🏿

1. Strawberry Cough Autoflower https://www.sonomaseeds.com/cannabis-seeds/strawberry-cough-autoflower-feminized-marijuana-seeds/ I planted this seedling 03/29 into 60% mix Gaia Green Living Soil in 2 gallon cloth pot. Light is a Samsung full spectrum 100W Quantum LED. This little thing is pretty happy but she’ll be happier once we get a few more friends planted 🌱 2. https://blimburnseeds.com/tangie-auto

She's doing well! Not long left. Maybe a week or so. Trichomes are still all clear, pistils are 80% brown.
