May 15: later start as a replacement for my failure on Durban Poison. Have wanted to fit this one in for a while and should be an easy and reliable grow. Top tip for germination stage is get a heating mat. My house is usually about 18 C but cannabis, tomatoes and pepper all need it warmer to start properly. So, get a heating mat. i usually keep it at about 26 C. Next germination tip is to expose the newly sprouted seed to ethylene gas just before it first reaches light. This is a huge tip for all growers. Seed ‘priming’ using ethylene gas in dark before seedling is exposed to light. https://scitechdaily.com/accidental-discovery-how-a-whiff-of-an-unusual-chemical-transforms-seedlings-into-super-plants/ Seed priming works. I tried it last year on peppers, tomatoes and cannabis. 😎 This is as big a tip as my standard “get a pH meter”. Seed priming takes minimal effort (use a ripe apple or banana) and it certainly seems to pay off big time as shown by my last two seasons. I’ll be doing this every single time now.

I must apologize for the shitty incomplete diary. As I was getting into my stride a load of work came along that took me away from home for several months so I had some real issues finishing the diary.. The harvest was good. I had nearly 800g of flower at the chop which were all frosty chunky dense beasts. The terp profile at chop was a very stinky gassy smell which I would call diesel. Incredibly sticky and pungent. Really treated my extractor.. I had them dry for around 10 days hanging in a dark room with a temp of 19c and RH at 52%.. Thank you to Mrs Laritfor sending me these beans. The genetic is fantastic and very stable both my ants were the same pheno with plant 1 producing slightly smaller buds due to an unfortunate branch snapping incident early on. But the smaller buds were twice as dense ..Just lovely.

Weekly update. Sorry it was a late update this week I was out of town (Bizcon2024). Wow have they grown, I'd say doubling in size. I've upped the watering to 1000ml daily, this week I'll do a major defoliation and lollipoping. All in all Happy Growing

Apolo F1 Mission Diary - Week 2: The Rise of the Green Titan Greetings, fellow growers and botanical enthusiasts! Our Apolo F1 has sprouted into a verdant marvel, standing tall and proud, like a green titan rising from the soil. Join me in this second-week report as we explore the wonders of growth, the magic of transplantation, and the botanical symphony of nutrients. This week marked a significant milestone – the grand migration to an 11L fabric pot, generously provided by the good folks at Royal Queen Seeds. Now, let's talk fabric pots and why they're the VIP treatment for our plant's roots. Fabric pots, oh, they're like the five-star hotels for roots! Unlike their traditional counterparts, fabric pots offer superior aeration. The porous fabric breathes, preventing the soil from becoming waterlogged and ensuring oxygen reaches every nook and cranny of our Apolo F1's root system. It's like giving our plant a breath of fresh air, quite literally. But the benefits don't end there – fabric pots also prevent roots from circling the container, promoting a more extensive and fibrous root system. This, my friends, translates to a happier, healthier plant with increased nutrient uptake and overall vigor. It's like our Apolo F1 is getting a botanical spa day every day! Now, let's dive into the alchemical mix that accompanied this transplantation – my special Aptus Holland super soil blend. Picture this as the magic potion for plant prosperity. First in the concoction is Micromix Soil, a blend of microorganisms and stimulants that's like a botanical feast. These microorganisms act as the unsung heroes of the soil, enhancing nutrient availability and fostering a symbiotic relationship with our green companion. Next up, enter the Substrate Buffer Powder – the pH conditioner extraordinaire. Unstable pH conditions begone! This powder, featuring micronized calcium, acts as the stabilizing force, ensuring our plant enjoys a balanced pH banquet. And let's not forget the All-in-One Pellet – the time-released 100% organic pellet fertilizer. Packed with a compounded NPK fertilizer, magnesium, sulfur, and organically chelated microelements, it's like a gourmet meal for our Apolo F1. The L-amino acids are the chef's kiss, enhancing nutrient absorption and overall plant health. During the transplantation spectacle, I introduced Mycor Mix once again. This blend of endomycorrhizae, fixed on a vegetal carrier, is like the entourage for our Apolo F1, feeding and protecting the fungi that, in turn, support our plant's growth. It's the ultimate teamwork, a botanical Avengers assembling to ensure our green hero thrives. And the best part? Our Apolo F1 is reacting with sheer botanical enthusiasm, reaching for the stars and soaking in the nutrients like a plant on a mission. Before I conclude this week's report, a heartfelt shoutout to Royal Queen Seeds for the royal treatment in the form of fabric pots, to Aptus Holland for being the architects of this nutrient symphony, and to Grow Diaries for being the virtual arena where our horticultural tale unfolds. Stay tuned for the next chapter in our Apolo F1 Mission Diary – where we'll witness the continued ascent of our green titan. Great smoke, very smooth, no coughing! I smoke mostly joints, some blunts and occasionally a bong. I find the high very sativa like, it's mentally calming, I'm more focused and energetic. No problems sleeping after several joints either.

I provided you with a close up video of each plant and one video where i go through tent and try to focus some nice buds individually. Royal jack is the tallest plant in garden and the smell is amazing, sweet, very familiar to me but i dont remember from where haha.. Yesterday i did massive defoliation as there were too much leaves, never seen a plant with tht much leaves, i even removed those with some.crystals to their surface, thats how pissed i was :D Everything is going well, i will start flushing her soon..

Week 6 begins for divine storm and mandarin dreams. Both ladies are looking amazing under this Mars-Hydro TSW2000 light. The girls are sticky, frosty AF and bulking up! The divine storm both now need support to stay standing upright and the mandarin dreams have an intense mandarin and fuel smell. Thank you Mars-Hydro, Kaoritracy, for sponsoring the light, it's doing an amazing job! Thanks for stopping by growfessors 👽🌳💚

Outdoors........time passes slowly.... Tropical weather here, this week. Hot morning, evening storms , cooler nights, high humidity, wind. What else? No problems to report, fantastic grow, girls full of life. Lots of work to bend and rearrange plant's shape every day, sometimes twice a day. Defoliation. Plant is responding fantastically. My Royal Gorilla has one branch with an uncommon mutation. The stem from 4th internode is flat and not circular. From the 7th node, although now plant shows alternate growth, two perfectly identical branches are growing closer to each other, a twin bud mutation. Precisely for this mutation I decided to apply a little supercropping by bending the branch with a flat section at 90 °. I hope it wasn't late and the double buds will recover. #update August 6, twin buds perfectly recovered from supercropping so I can hope for a monster bud!

End of course for this Persian Prince project! Unfortunately, he failed to cut short this flowering a few days in advance following the start of a pest attack. Our two beautiful ones would have certainly enjoyed crunching life with full roots for another week, but prudence forced us to cut a little prematurely. Never mind, our flowers have dried for 10 days and are now ready to begin their maturing period in a jar. Despite these conditions, which are very well known to them, our Persian Princes still present impressive characters: the buds are huge, covered with a thick layer of trichomes and very fragrant. In terms of flavors, cheesy dominates 🧀 the two phenos smell strongly of semi-roller/Emmental style hard cheese, definitely the dominant aroma, for one of our two plants it is the only aroma that I am capable of to raise. The other phenotype is more complex, on the salty-cheesy smell a fresher and tangy/lemony smell is superimposed, very pleasant and different from its sister and at the same time linked to it by its common dominant cheesy aroma. For those who would still take a break from sweet/fruity strains and would like to try something more unique, consider this Persian Prince! :) 🌱 @khalifa.genetics 🍱 @gaiagreenorganics @greenhousefeeding_worldwide 💡 @official_marshydro 🌬️ @acinfinityinc 🍄 @bigfootmycorrhizae @promix_cannabis BY ZOUZOUCANNA ON YOUTUBE AND INSTAGRAM
