Continued training and caring for the life in the soil... I'm trying to think of it as growing soil more then growing plants

Hello fellow growers, LSD-25 is ripe. We will be cutting them down on christmas eve. The smell is astonishing and both smell different. One is very fruity, whilst the other smells like Gas and citrus. Both very strong smellers also. Im hyped up for the harvest and will be back soon to give you guys a smoke review. But for now, this is one of the best strain ive ever grown. Strong, fast and heavy, all positive in one plant combined See you guys soon Happy

- 1st Day flowering for Ak (5/9) - 1st Day flowering for Critical (8/9)

Had some crazy root growth this week and have put the girls in their final 11L pots already. They became rootbound in their last pots within 5 days of being potted up and started showing rootbound behaviour such as spots on leaves and droopy behaviour, also soil was drying out super fast. At first I was panicking about leaf septoria, had that before :/. Only when i checked the roots that I confirmed it was cos they were rootbound. I'm hoping this isn't an issue within the grow bags. I've never really played around with potting up before as mainly grown autos until now. Topped the girls a few days ago and have done some LST today to spread them ready for the scrog. Papaya sherbet what can I say? Has given me a run for my money but the end result is exactly what I wanted. Nice frosty thick: cola beautiful node spacing cannot wait to see how the rainbow melon turns out. Fast buds for life.🔥💯

This time I've decided to keep the scrog just a bit higher than the other times. The plants are growing fast and happy! 😀

Back with a new week, the beginning of week 6 and wow, the girls are really starting to show off their fall colours and frosty colourful buds. EC has been slightly lowered and I have dropped cal-mag to ensure a good flush later on in the grow. PK has been increased and the girls are fattening up. pH has been drifting so trying to keep a close eye on this to enable the correct uptake of essential nutrients at this critical stage. Hallo und willkommen in unseren weiteren Vegetationsphase Viel gibt es nicht zu berichten, die Purple auf dem Balkon stagniert iab jetzt. Bis hierhin haben wir sie vom Düngeverhalten weit runtergefahren. Sie wird diese in kommender Zeit nicht mehr richtig verarbeiten können. Und tiefdunkelgrüne Blätter sehen nicht wirklich ansprechend aus 😉 Im Garten wächst alles ruhig vor sich hin. Ab und zu bekommen die Damen ehrlicher weise einen Schluck zu viel Regenwasser. Liegt aber daran, das der Dünger an der Haupt Arbeitsstelle sich befindet. Ansonsten keine Auffälligkeiten außer das es Zeit wird, die Purple im Zelt umzutopfen. Das wird jetzt demnächst geschehen. Da wir mit ihr noch ein Transport Vorhaben, sollte sie erst mal klein bleiben. Passt soweit bis hierher 👍 Vielen Dank fürs vorbeischauen und wir wünschen allen eine angenehme und erfolgreiche Woche! High GD community, Week 8 She aint big, but its all bud. Im very pleasantly surprised by the outcome of this lady. She does have almost the same size of top cola as her bigger sissters in the tent. Thats it for the week, Grow safe buds 🙏🍀🍀🍀🙏

1/21/24 - Day 76 - Everything is looking good still. Today is water change day! This time i was out at the box during the change. Everything went well. I did install a new temperature sensor to replace the old one. Also I installed a new C, and PH- bottle. 1/23/24 - Day 78 - I noticed the buds are starting to fatten up. They kind of grow in little nodules sticking out from the main bud site. Its really cool to see. I added some pictures up top! Ill update on some more pictures in the next couple of days. 1/25/24 - Day 80 - The buds are getting fatter and the smell is getting super pungent. Everything is going as planned. I need to start scoping it to check for color. We are still a long ways from starting the flush but it time to start looking!

Week 8 (17-3 to 23-3) 17-3 Temps: 17.4 to 21.9 degrees Humidity: 60% to 72% 18-3 Temps: 17.5 to 22.2 degrees Humidity: 54% to 65% 19-3 Temps: 17.9 to 22.4 degrees Humidity: 52% to 61% Watering: Both 500 ml. EC: 0.4 Watering: Both 1000 ml. EC: 1.4 Defoliated both plants and attached some shoots to the rack. 20-3 Temps: 18.2 to 22.8 degrees Humidity: 59% to 69% 21-3 Temps: 18.5 to 23.4 degrees Humidity: 57% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml. 22-3 Temps: 19.4 to 24.1 degrees Humidity: 55% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml. Set the strength of the light to 50% 23-3 Temps: 19.8 to 24.8 degrees Humidity: 58% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml. As you can see, instead of removing the leaves, i tucked down all the leaves to open up the canopy. I will see if i like this method as its the first time i try this. I also attached some more shoots to the rack, its looking nicely spread out now :)

Going smooth, still feeding following foxfarm feed schedule @50% see pistils on every top now so flowering should be in full effect. Max temp 80 w/40% Rh Min temp 69.8 w/32% Rh.

👉With each day it grows a noticeable amount. Its staying short and the leaves are actually touching the media on the lower set. Its actually on its 3rd node, and i will probably top it on the 4rth. I lowered the light from 36 to 24". This week i will lower it again to 18". The plant is short but its growth is still vigorous enough. under the leaves there is vegitation emerging as well. I like the fact that its staying short, I will probably need every inch of of my tent so the longer its stays short and grows like a bush, the better. 👉Im doing the week 3 nutrient schedule for another week because week 3 is the highest levels of grow nutrient. My EC target is 1.7 and is near the high end of the recommended range. I usually start with 2 gallons and then mix and pH the batch. If the EC is high I then ad pHd/calmag/ArmorSI water to lower the EC to the desired range. Im feeding 1 liter of nutrient solution and the runoff is an average of .6l. I give this 2x a day. The EC is slowly creeps up over 3-4 days and when it gets to 25 to 30+ EC I use a liter of rinse solution before the next fertigation. the rinse solution is same water source as the nutrient mix, (RO water at 5 micro-Siemens from a medical grade RO unit) with Armor SI and Calmag pH's to 5.9. The machine isnt at my house so I mule the water in 6 gallon water carriers. Eventually the plant will be big enough that more solution is needed at each feeding. During the Critical Purple and Hindu grows, the EC would actually never guild up because the plants were absorbing a lot of the nutrients. I will gauge the needed inflow volume of nutrient solution by the amount of run-off. Currently 1 liter is what I determined is the minimum needed to keep the coco wet and buffered. As the plant absorbs more water the drain off will decrease. I will target 20-30% run-off from inflow volume. EC value also determines inflow volume but to save on mixed nutrients I like to precede a feeding with the rinse solution if the EC is too high. 👉I disinfect the water jugs 1 time a week with 1% bleach. I disinfect my nutrient solution dispensing jugs at each batch mixing. My watering can and measuring vessel, I rinse with the H2O2 spray at each use. 👉To help keep the grow clean I have a 1 gallon garden sprayer filled with water and 60ml of H2O2. The recipe is usually just 30ml/gallon, but I wanted it a little stronger. I spray the exterior of my cloth pot once a week to rinse of the build up nutrients and prevent mold, mildew and green fungus. I also use the spray to disinfect the drain trays as I swap them out after a feeding. I have a couple dozen white wash cloths that I use to help clean and dry things. I use fresh wash cloth each day, and keep everything as clean as possible.
