Hello everyone, I noticed that the pieces of paper are coming up, do you think it’s too much heat from the lamp?

Hi @pakpak! Nope, this doesn't look like a heat stress. It's mostly RH related, in a high relative humidity environment, seedlings tend to show twisted/curly leaves, especially after they've been watered/fed. That's nothing too serious, and it can be fixed by improving your airflow: a simple fan blowing a continous breeze onto your seedlings shoudl solve the issue and help leaves to develop properly. Also watch your waterings and never exceed ~10% of your container's volume, at this early age roots are very sensitive to overwatering. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊

I had to add extra heating at night, the temperature dropped to 14C°, I set to 18C°. I also covered the plants with aluminum cover

@HighTV, sorry if I confused you, yes 780+ nm is what was meant, very precise of you to clarify that 😂😂😂 light spectrum are confusing , i think the main thing with aluminum is that the wrinkles in it will focus that spectrum and end up burning the plant. in my mind its that simple, but in reality i think it's probably much more complicated lol by the way new research in lights points towards the importance of average spectrum and intensity being more important than specific spectrum : that's why the new expensive lights aren't color blurple anymore but warm white / cool white ... always something new to learn!

@CRiSPrGrow, @pakpak Plants actually use the entire visible red spectrum including the upper most (780nm wavelength) They actually prefer it in flowering (620-780nm)! I think you are referring to infrared light waves which are not visible and 780nm+ therefor have no color association 😅

@pakpak, hey man ! aluminium is really bad for the plant actually. Basically aluminium reflects almost 100% of the light including the upper red spectrum which could lead to burning. people use mylar actualy because it "reflects less" than that. The plants do not like aluminium , it will burn them, maybe this explains your burning leaves. take that aluminum out of there bro, the plant will recover.

@pakpak, Under watering sign = droopy leaves ! Did your leaves became droopy once ?

@OutForReal, No, they didn’t fall off, I added a humidifier and I removed the aluminum cover.

Hello, since I’ve been warming the room, humility goes down, that’s quite normal. I just added a humidifier set between 60% and 65%. I work on my culture chamber, soon the plants move and I could remove the aluminium cover, then I would monitor the evolution
