Harvest was done on a lovely summer day. Since summer was approaching, half of the harvest was hung upside down with the classic 60/60 and rest is stored in a wine cooler for drying. There’s also an oscillating fan below for airflow!

I finally had some time to harvest everything, left her for 2 days in the dark in a vase. The smell was so intense in comparison to the painkiller. Since it rained a lot there was some bud rot but I guess that was inevitable. The honey cream still grows strong has no bud rot since the buds seem fluffy enough for a good airflow.

She's starting to get bushy. She responds extremely well to stress so Im going to give her some heavy LST this week and give her rest next week. She also got some very healthy roots thanks to the hydroguard. I can easily go two weeks with no rez change and algae and fungus are nonexistent.

Starting to ripen up probably another week or two on gorilla glue and strawberry pie the grapefruit is just now packing on bud so I’d say maybe 4-5 weeks left on grapefruit. Little bit of amber showing on the gorilla glue. Mostly clear yet on the strawberry pie. Overall happy with gorilla glue and strawberry pie. Grapefruit not so impressive yet. The smell is quite strong at this point and is getting stronger by the day with the really sweet notes of strawberry and the earthy medicinal smell of the gorilla glue.

The cold is taking a toll, that’s for sure. It's time to start the next growing season, and this round, I am to make my life as difficult as possible by growing five different cultivars in the same tent. I'm sure it will be a struggle to maintain an even canopy, but hey, we improve as growers by facing challenges and (hopefully) overcoming them. Was another good week, had mostly sun and only two days of rain, one of them being today. No vertical growth again this week but she is really filling in. Back on nutrients 3 days a week but cut water back to 6L in morning and an extra 4L in afternoon (only when very hot and soil dries faster). Did a good defoliation on day 2 of the week, removed any branches growing inwards and cleaned up all around. No shock next day and by end of week almost filled back in again. Will give it time to grow through net but for sure 1-2 more defoliation in the future. Gotta keep good airflow through the middle to avoid problems down the road. So originally I had planned on just using the garden stakes, but that's just not going to cut it so McGivered a good support system. 2x2x12 screwed into the corners of the skids (fit perfectly in existing holes) and horizontal supports to strengthen it up. Netting around and two rows up near the top. Ready to take on the weight that this girl is going to put on. I would think that should start flower in next week? 🤞 end of July but they're still getting 12hours direct sun + 3-4 hours a day of sun filtered through tree canopy. If she don't start soon it's gonna be a late finish!

Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

Still running into def. but they are still holding strong, great resin production and strong sweet sour smell on the sour alien livers and a pungent lime smell to the alien vs triangle 2 more weeks fore the sour alien and id say 3 more weeks for the alien vs triangle.

I've cut down on grow at this point as the soil seems to have a lot. I'll feed for another week then think about Flushing. The kalimist will keep getting fed bloom and grow as its only been flowering for about 3 weeks due to taking longer to force flower.
