Commencing Week 12 - 4th week of flowering - Day 78 from germination - Day 28 of 12/12 on January 9th Garden is going great! Only minor hold up is my pH and PPM meter has gone haywire today so I have one arriving in the mail tomorrow. I used one of my flower bomb males and crossed the 818 number one and the Branch with a wire tie. Seeds coming soon :-) "You can have change without progress but not progress without change" I am trying a new nutrients called Mega crop. Currently I utilitize a very sterile and all chemical nutrients solution that contains no enzymes no amino acids and no beneficial bacteria and I have gotten great results, and I enjoy not having to do much work, literally no swap outs in this grow so far has saved my water bills and my back. However as I stated there is no progress with change and in line with wanting to get better I am trying a new nutrient called Mega crop which contains many of the things that I have thus far stayed away from. Starting off very lightly and will see what happens either way I am anxious and excited for the next 4 weeks 🤩🤩🤩

Harvested today, buds are looking nice and frosty. Happy with my first grow outcome. Bud washed half of them to see if there is a major difference once dried and cured. Also had a small mite problem with the ones I washed. (Doc method) Will dry upside fro 5-7 days then put those babies in mason jars with humidity packs (62) Will weigh and shoot picks when dried and trimmed.

Everything was going well in the first week, but unfortunately, a mistake caused stress in the plant. The distance between the lamp and the plant was too short. This week, I gave the plants a small amount of root growth stimulant

Orion F1 organic, dry amendments. The plant is really developing the flowers while they look really dense, and like they will be some very top shelf buds! The buds are beginning to stack on weight now, and hopefully, we'll just see the colas become larger and larger as we go on from here! I have gone through the tent this week, and I have removed a lot of the lower branches on the plants, as they're not going to grow into big colas or anything. So it's better not to waste the plant's energy, developing those to hopefully redirect it into the larger flowers. I'm really impressed with this plant so far, and the organic dry amendments are really working wonders, and that's been really eye-opening for me during this experiment! I'm very pleased that Royal Queen Seeds were kind. Enough to allow me to try this experiment with some of the F1 hybrid strains. It has been, and continues to be an extremely exciting experiment, and I am again learning more and more with each plant. I cannot wait for harvest and to see what these buds look like after I've dried and trimmed them! 3.8.25: I watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2 with; 💜 1ml Trace PH: 6.2 PPM: 371 I've just been keeping the medium, not bone dry, but there were some fungus gnats. So I have let it dry out more than I usually would probably, because I wanted to sprinkle some Diatomaceous Earth on the soil, and it only works when it's dry. 4.8.25: I watered with 3ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.6 with; 💜 3ml Ecothrive Trace 💜 1.25 TSP Ecothrive Biosys PH: 6.6 PPM: 385 I am going to top dress next week as I checked and it has been exactly a month since I last did one. 12 day dry @ 58-63RH & 60-66F in blacked out dry tent | Glass Jar Cure with Inert gas Early taste test and I actually love this bud, is the best in house strain I've grown so far & the second Platinum cross. Flavorful Funky Sweet Orange cream cereal terps, the texture of the bud is buttery smooth, fluffy and pink/orange color when ground up. Bud has deeply potent effects that is IMO the perfect amount of heavy on the body but still euphoric and creative.. it makes you calm and happy! is checking off so many boxes not even cured, just smelling this batch makes a true connoisseur grin and bag appeal is insane

Stopped the PK booster and reduced nuets to get ready for flush next week. I’ll start by saying I’m NOT using both bud blood and bud ignitor in one solution, I am using bud blood on the rear tropicanna poison plant and bud ignitor on the front one to test the outcome of them individually to see the best results! I tied down and defoliated twice in the week and have switched to 12-12 yesterday so they’re transitioning now and should be in bloom by week 7! I made some extract them made some gummies successfully I might add and added the photos in the diary!

Wk10 11/10/21: Day 64. 💧I have no idea what I should do. Should I chop it now, and use it to compare my next grow to, or wait another week and then chop? I think I'll let the pot dry out one more time, and then cut it down. Might as well have a baseline to go by. With plenty of cloudy trichomes, it's likely a good time to come down anyhow. Everyday I see more and more pistils dying back, but also a bunch of new hairs being pushed out, so it's confusing. I have a feeling that it's going to start foxtailing if I let it go much longer. Right now, buds are still very tight. If I do anything else before harvest, it will be a wet trim of most leaves. 11/11/21: Day 65. Pot is a bit lighter today, but not enough for me to say it's time. I've never been one to harvest just before the lights come on, and just chop it down whenever I felt like it, and had the time. I'm not sure if I will wait until early morning, or just go with what I've always done. I really don't feel like waking up at 4:30 and making a bunch of noise. I should really change my lighting schedule to make that easier, but I would be very unhappy if I couldn't check on, and take care of my plants during the morning and throughout the early afternoon. My thoughts on the plant came true. I opened the tent today, and saw some foxtails forming. Right now it's alright, as it's just a bit more bud to smoke, but if I left it to go for the entire rest of the week, it would definitely look like it had some lumps. So, that means it's time to wet trim, then chop down and hang it. Thankfully I have a small empty tent that I can use for drying. I have a fan in there still, so the air will be moving. Cannot wait to give this a test. 11/12/21: Day 66. 🌲Pot is definitely light enough to harvest today. As much as I'd like this to be my first dark harvest (chop 1 hour before light, or 5 hours after dark), I'll just stick with my usual plan and chop it down later, once I've taken care of a few other small things. I can see even more foxtails forming, and the old ones are now very prominent. I know there are several reasons for that to happen, with one being genetically predispositioned to growing them, but this is not likely the case. They are likely caused by my movent of the plant mich closer to the light, technically just a smidge too close. Oh well, I don't mind a few buds messed up, just as long as it's not the entire plant. Plant is now hanging inside the upstairs tent with a fan for air circulation. I will monitor it's weight loss every two days, and then jar and cure some remaining buds for approximately 4 weeks in my auto cure. It may not last that long, but I'm going to try. I will do my best to keep the main cola separate and intact for a future session. Chop: 88.1g or 3.11oz 11/14/21: Day 68. 35.5g or 1.14 oz 11/15/21: Day 68. Total dry: 20.7g. Bud is actually quite crumbly, so I'm sure once its brought back up to the 64% the Integra pack provides, it will have a better weight. Some smaller buds were smoked for testing, while a good portion is in the small auto cure, where it shall hopefully remain for the next 4 weeks. Updates will be provided once buds are cured for a true smoke report. End Diary As you can see, the plant did not finish on a desired colour. I do not mean a dark purple, but a high level of yellowing in the leaves. It started early in the flowering process, and continued to get worse. The plant however, persevered and finished strong. Even though the plant did not finish up looking like an ideal specimen, it allowed me to learn a lot about the genetics, and how to work with the dry amendments with this strain. Next round will be mich better, I guarantee. Don't believe me! Just watch! We will see it together.

Over the last week I’ve continued with defoliation process and I removed downer leaves that were not developing properly. On day 78 I added support for aide branches on B and C. I started flush of plant C on day 80, so we’ll see how she looks. I keep feeding other plants but I will be starting flush soon. 😎

The the buds were small so it made trimming a nightmare! But it’s done and the end product is worth all the time. I have loads of trim and small popcorn buds that will be dry Ice sifted and pressed into a hash brick. Will update the diary when I have some bcp hash Weighed up the trim at 588 grams, used my trim bins with dry ice to sift the trim and pressed it into blocks using a rosin pre press, I’ll now jar this and put it to one side. My first time doing this, definitely worth the effort!
