Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. TrolMaster Hub & Data Monitoring Throughout the week, we have been closely monitoring our grow using the TrolMaster App TM+. We are displaying some of the collected data for everyone to see the details. Stay tuned as we explore this further in the next report! As always, we want to extend a huge thank you to our sponsors and the amazing community. Special thanks to Aptus, Groovebags, Cannakan, Promix, Ziggy Papers, TrolMaster, and Plagron, Zamnesia and Grow Diaries for making the Eternity Cup possible. I apprecilove the support from all sides—lovers, haters, competitors, and fellow growers. The competition continues to push us to improve, and i am thrilled to see the incredible reports from others. This is a challenging yet rewarding experience, and i couldn’t be happier to be part of it. For those following along, we invite you to check out our YouTube channel, where we upload full 4K episodes showcasing the entire journey. Some episodes are too large to be uploaded directly to Grow Diaries, so YouTube is the best place to catch everything in high definition. This marks the end of VEG, and we are officially ready to flip to FLOWER. Next week, we will dive into the TrolMaster System in action, check the data insights, and monitor how the garden adapts to the shift. Stay tuned! @FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of 3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. I am very excited to see how the new growroom will work and how this new secret CBD plant from @FAST_BUDS, will turn out. .............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. Update 2017-08-15. Both seeds have germinated and planted in small pots inside the humidity dome. I'm so glad it worked so well and now it's just hoping they'll start growing and become 2 big healthy girls :) ............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... Update 2017-08-16. I have mixed my own soil today. Its 40% sieved peat harrow H2-H4 0-30 mm, 45% sieved peat harrow H4-H6 0-30 mm. 5% sand and 10% of compost soil. And i use 15% of perlite and mix it all together. .................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... 2017-08-21 The 2 sisters are doing great, Nr2 is a bit after Nr1 . Some new pics.

She's by far the prettiest plant I've grown, she keeps smelling better and better. I haven't documented the nutrients very well but within the past few weeks I've slowly started feeding her more and more till it's seems like a significant amount to note. She's looking to finish up by Christmas hopefully!

So this is the start of the fourth week with me. I find this very engulfing. I like spending an hour with them a day and move the little ones out of the bigger fan leaves shadow by tucking the larger ones away giving the little ones a chance to get more light and flourish. I’m noticing more the strain my one girl went through compared to the others, her leaves being smaller than the other girls. I’ve tried to give them the best environment I can and realize I still play a huge role in their life. This is my first grow and I love it. I hope they grow up well and flourish. They were fed last week and had a bit of nutrient burn so this week I gave them just water. I’m not sure how much longer I should veg but I hear in the scrog game the longer you veg the better. Hoping for the best for everyone on GrowDiaries and their grows!

This week the plant finally gets the tent to itself and I began training for a wider canopy , poor girl looks tortured lol in this week I notice a mutation on one of the branches fasciation which I show in the video I’m unsure as what to do because in the week because I want to switch the plant very soon to flower and don’t want to waste a branch but I kinda wanted to see what the buds would look like if I left i ultimately decided to chop it

Grow Diary – Week 6, Day 1 of Flowering Boom, today marks Week 6, Day 1 of flower and things are moving along nicely. Buds are stacking and the aromas are straight-up explosive — seriously, it’s getting loud in the tent. PPMs are holding steady around 1000 and I'm dialing in pH to 5.8 every time, no exceptions. The only gripe I’ve got is how dense and crowded the plant has become. I got a bit greedy during training, went for too many shoots packed too close together. Now there’s a ton of foliage and the lower bud sites just aren’t getting the light they need. I’m in there every single day at lights-on, doing leaf tucking and rearranging to get better light penetration to those lower sites and hopefully avoid a bunch of larf. Lesson learned for next round: focus on strong main shoots only, less is more. But with the way things are going, I’m still optimistic I’ll pull at least 7 oz of solid, dank bud. Whatever ends up on the fluffier side will go to canna butter, nothing wasted! Airflow’s solid. Got three fans in action one low, one mid, and one up top keeping everything circulating. Humidity’s on the drier side, which is intentional to help prevent mold, powdery mildew, or pests, especially with how tight the canopy is. Gotta stay ahead of the game. Plant might be a little wild right now but overall we’re on track. Fingers crossed for a strong yield. Let’s go.

I never actually weighed this plant once dried. I would estimate around 400+ grams as I gave away so much to friends and it still lasted me well over 2 years. Beleive it or not, my wife who disapproves of me smoking never knew I was growing. Until the end that is when she needed a screw driver and entered my shed to see what you can see in the videos. Hahahaha, it took a while to recover from this thats for sure. After this crop was finished, I basically rarely smoked for 4 years until I decided to go under lights this year. And now outdoors again with my latest project.

Looks like most of the stretch has stopped for both plants. There appear to be two slightly different phenos with one slightly taller than the other. The shorter one seems slightly further along with a bit more flower development and some frost starting to show. I've done a couple rounds of defoliation to get some better air flow and light to bud sites. I also went through and pinched off most of the lower bud sites that were not going to get sufficient light to develop.

This plant plus one more started to wilt earlier on in the week, I figured it was probably time to transplant seeing as they had been in the solo cups for 2 weeks. After transplant plants seemed to be happy again. I introduced amino acids this week as well. They are getting the grease spray and drench program

Edit Tag 10: Ich musste was an der Position meines Thermo Hydrometer ändern. War schlecht ausgesucht das Eckchen. Auch gab es schon was blödes was ausgemerzt werden musste. Tag 11: Habe die Kurze schon getoppt. Scheint sie aber gut verkraftet zu haben. Mal gucken Tag 13: 2,2 Liter Wasser + 1,5 ml/L Calmag . Einmal kräftig bewässern. 15 L Softpot. Tag 14: Ich glaube soweit alles gut. U have to translate it then, sry Buddy Wenn wer Anregungen oder Vorschläge hat, bin ich selbstverständlich offen für. Je nachdem was man so bestellt. Siehe Orion F1... My Bad. Soweit so gut..... Ich bedanke mich und sage bis dann
