~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. For a more detailed and accurate description of this strain the following from FastBuds says it best: "Combining the massive stature of Papaya (Oni Selection) with the strength and resilience of one of our best keeper cuts (Sunset Sherbet), this strain develops into a big, expansive bush adorned with numerous bud sites that later transform into a generous harvest of medium-sized buds. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Week 6 of flower and the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiods flowers are exploding now! 9/22- My daily routine of watering, removing dead foliage and checking over the Papaya Sherbet continues. She is unfortunately starting to show signs of Septoria which is a bummer, but at least it's showing up late in flower so it hopefully won't affect the outcome too much. 9/24- Our weather has now cooled off dramatically, with daytime highs in the mid 60's℉, and nighttime temperatures dipping into the low 50's℉. As a result I have cut back on the amount of water the Papaya Sherbet photo is receiving daily. 9/26- There's another exciting week of flowering on the books for the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photo and from the looks of her, she only has a couple of weeks to go! Week 1 Day 1 - 8/12/2023 1st Water change Day! Such a special time it is when you remove the little bit of Nutes that you gave them as an appetizer and you give them their first real meal. Added 39 Gallons of Water to my system SILICA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Root Drip = 1mil/Gal = 39mil Cal Mag= .25mil/Gal = 9.75 = 10mil FLoraMicro= 3.0mil/Gal = 114mil FloraGro = 2.0mil/Gal = 78mil FloraBloom = 2.0mil/Gal =78mil ORCA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Week 1 Day 2 - 8/13/2023 Everything is looking good the roots are making thier way to the water and the new grow is looking nice and green. Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying postition all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 Looking beautiful today and looked like she could use her first haircut.. gave her a TOP off. Roots are laying in the water everything is looking right on track.. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. She had roots nicely in the water.. this grow is on!!! Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Humidity was a little low this morning, so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that, the temp looks great, the PH looks great, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started first hair cut given and both side nodes are growing. Everything is looking good and on track.. A lot better than week one of the last grow when I had them drowning week 1. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

Besides the top coals getting heat stress it was a good week :) Raised the nutrients levels this week to 10ml each except for MagnifiCal. Midway through flower they don't require these nutrients thus you'll begin to see the colour changes in the leaves. Was completely out of room to raise the lights which resulted in doing some emergency supercropping. A bit late in flowering to be performing this technique but their was no other option Some light defoliation throughout the week. Don't want bud site to be covered

Hey everyone, quick update on my Hulk in living soil! It’s growing like crazy, and I’m starting to get a bit concerned it might get too big once the flowering stretch kicks in 😅. Other than that, I’ve just been watering occasionally and adding some beneficial microorganisms . I’m thinking in about 1-2 weeks, I’ll switch to 12/12.

My experience overall can be best described as an interesting enlightening process. Since it was my first time growing it was definitely a learning experience. From the height being as tall as it was to the high winds in the area making it difficult to keep them from toppling when the buds were reaching full maturity. Thinking it would have benefited from more topping than just the once. The terps that this strain has are exquisite!! I am going to miss walking by them towering over me and just breathing in their berry cream aroma, taking in the sweetness like I had just had some dessert. Really enjoyed this strain and hope to grow it again sometime. Thanks for checking out my first grow 🌼💚✌️

Welcome growfessors to week 4F in the 4x8. LSD, Green Crack and Divine storm are showing the most discoloration, however the bud sites continue to bulk up and frost is showing. Both Mandarin dreams strains, 4 of pheno 1 and 2 of pheno 2 all look good, with a bit of discoloration starting to show. A bit of defoliation and removal of any dead leaves. Not much else to say, they look happy and a bulking up nicely. Tune in next week growfessors for another episode 👽🌳💚

Three plants are continuing to grow well and starting to grow a lot more in size. The Dr jack strain is still showing curled folding leaves and marble effect on leaves.

03.08.21 Moin Growmies hab mir in der letzten Woche Gedanken gemacht zu meinem Vorhaben mit den Tomatenringen und mir ist aufgefallen das die Ladys nicht Grad gleichmäßig wachsen ,das liegt sicherlich daran das ich Depp wieder schlauer sein wollte und ein paar Seitenäste dran gelassen habe sprich beim ersten topping hätte ich alles entfernen sollen bis auf die 2 Triebe von der 3. Nodie und ich hab die 2 nodie mit stehen lassen weil ich dachte ich bin schlauer 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬ich könnte mich selber schlagen für die Dummheit naja Ergebniss des ganzen ist ungleichmäßiges Wachstum somit kann ich die Sache mit den Tomaten Ringen vergessen.......... Hab jetzt aber mein System noch einmal überarbeitet andere Topferhöhung ( 2x alte Bilderrahmen aus Holz auf Paletten Balken geschraubt und mit Hühner Draht bespannt das ganze auf Steine gestellt damit ich ne Wanne darunter stellen kann für abtropfwasser) den Rahmen vom scrogg netzt wieder raus gesammelt und neu bespannt ( Rahmen 90x90 cm aus nem alten Pavillon Gestell zurecht gesägt und mit Zaun bespannt die Abstände zwischen den einzelnen Rauten beträgt 6 cm sollte ausreichend Platz für die Triebe sein) habe das ganze gestern auf einer Höhe von 16 cm über dem Topfrand eingebaut mit Kabelbindern an den Zeltstangen befestigt somit hängt es an seiner Position fest und kann nicht von den Pflanzen hoch gedrückt werden wenn sie in die Blüte geht. Also is nun doch wieder ein sqrogg draus geworden aber den Ladys geht es insgesamt gut sie wachsen und gedeihen und wirken insgesamt gesund in den nächsten Wochen werde ich nun die Ladys in das netzt weben und Mal sehen was sie von scrogging Alla Milchschnitte halten. Ach ja die purps aus dem Garten sind anscheinend direkt nach dem umtopfen in den Stretch zur Blüte gegangen war ein bisschen spät dran fürs raus setzten aber lässt sich jetzt nicht ändern Mal sehen was draus wird,vll ja ein Gummibärchen Baum 😏😉 hab den outdoor Ladys gestern nen kleinen Regenschutz gebaut, is nicht der schönste aber er sollte seinen Zweck erfüllen damit der Topf Mal abtrocknen kann das Wetter ist seit fast 14 Tagen hart wechselhaft und der Topf noch nicht 1x richtig trocken gewesen das war's eigendlich was bis heut passiert ist cu Growmies und euch noch viel Erfolg........
