Heya Growmies, this week was pretty eventful first off, the plant is in flowering in full force and doing really well despite a lot of user error throughout its life! I mentioned last week I was going to do two things, the plants last major defoliation and turn my DWC into a 2 bucket RDWC. I have managed to get around to both, I am always anxious when defoliating, scared of taking off too much but this time I really pushed my comfort zone, let me know what you think. before, in my other grows, I have a lot of larfy buds, I dont want those, I want tight, dense small nuggies, I think one of my bigger problems back then was defoliation amount, I just left too many fan leaves. RDWC.... Let me just say that I have proven to myself this week that I'm not destined to become a plumber, in my first iteration the drain line was too small, causing the pump to overpower it and overflow the plant bucket, I changed out the hose for some 50mm pvc tubing, which worked wonders, for the first few hours I sprung leaks and had to pull my plant out during her dark period to fix it; no bueno. All is well right now though, no leaks and everything is circulating nicely at 500 liters an hour. I could probably get a bigger pump, but its fine, I'm going to stop tempting fate. From here on out honestly, theres not much more for me to do other than go into the garden, pull a fan leave here or there, check flowers for nanners and balls and adjust the water. The plant took off this week. I am relatively new so was working through getting my PH measuring/balancing down. Now that I have established a better method the plant responded well. Put in a scrog to help even the canopy for the future. The other plant I have running is a bubblegum autoflower that is a few weeks older (right). Personally I really loved the look of the gold leaf at this point, it had a very nice spiral look to it almost like an xmas wreath.

Started to have problems with insects munching on the leaves, I applied trifecta and insecticidal soap simultaneously so they do not get used to one or the other and it has seemed to stop their destruction for now. Will continue to apply one a week as a preventative measure. Have not given the plants any nutrients up to this point since they have not shown any problems during growth

Hi Growmies, Luckily she has made full recovery, in the tank below and up top :). OST of the root growth I. Observing, I would attribute to the combination of orca, rhizotonic and cannazym. Mainly the orca though ;). I will minimum give her 1–2 more weeks max until I flip her, as it feels like she should have a fairly short flowering phase. This is the 8th week. Thursday will be 9 weeks of 12/12. Some trichs are amber. They just added a good bunch of girth over the past few days, but most of the pistils are red now. The rest of them have been dropping leaves consistenly but the canopy remains full so they must be putting out more leaves. I just flushed to 80% runoff and found out that I had 1200ppm. I just got an ec meter but my last reading said closer to 600 so idk what happened there. I flushed until I had runoff ppm of about 150. Now they're back in the grow tent. I don't want to keep assaulting them with my microscope. I think they're ready. Just gonna let them settle another day or two to dry out a bit. I took one small branch off the small Wedding Cake plant on Thursday and I've just been watching it dry on my counter. It's been 5 days and the stem snaps but still leaves a fiber connecting. I put it into a small jar with a 64RH thing. I just want to try it. It already smells amazing. The leaves on the big CBD Blue Shark plant are going really yellow and some other colours are starting to come out as well. The buds all fattened up and got more frosty again. I was worried they were foxtailing but they got more calyxes underneath the peaks and have been making more of a pyramid shape. They're really close to peak. Harvest day will be March 17 or 18. March 17 1023pm chopped and hung after lights off all day. RH was 65% before I chopped and 50% after I closed the window and cut the plants off the saturated pots. I did a wet trim to prevent mold. The buds are sticky af. Gonna hang them to dry for 7-9 days before curing in jars :) March 18 : checked the RH when I woke up and it's chilling at 45% 😎 March 19 : just checked to see how they were drying. There are seeds in every plant. RIP I'll update when I put them in jars and again a few weeks later for final review. Overall it was a good grow despite the rocky start and a good introduction to the mainline technique and my new grow space. Next grow I should have everything pretty well dialed in. March 23 They were hanging for 3 days. Rh was around 45, then spiked to 65 overnight when I forgot to turn the fans back on. Temp was high at around 26.they felt wet after 2 days, and bone dry after 4 days. The stems still didn't snap but I put them in jars anyway. A day later, jar RH was 50%. I burped all the jars and there was a smell from the new jars. I took all the weed out, washed out the jars, and did a dry trim on the weed. One of the Wedding Cake plants must have gone hermie. I didn't see any bananas and didn't even realize there were seeds until the very end. The seed pods looked just like calyxes while the plants were growing. Many of the nugs are unusable. Under the sugar leaves are just layers and layers of seeds. Some weren't hit that badly. The CBD Blue Shark is much better off but still has some seeds. I'm trying to stay positive. It's a bit of a shock though. I'm anxious to try the finished product. If the flowers at least taste good and have a good effect, all is not lost.

Hey Growers. It’s going great around here. These girls are happy, healthy and growing like mad. They’ve chunked up so much that they’re starting to lay down. It’s just a couple at the moment so I’ll keep an eye on them and see if intervention is needed. The trichomes are so gritty it feels like table salt between your fingers and the Cali has a orange/lemon citrus and woody scent. The Jack is sour skunk and the cookies Kush is a sweet sugary scent. I’m not 100% sure if they’re fox tailing from light stress or just natural Kush characteristics. I’ll be keeping an eye out for hermie’s and stress. I’ve added some Green Planet Rezin, as I think it’s awesome and helps with aroma and makes oily terps. I’m thinking this will be my last top dress and I’ll probably just do half dose and top up with monster bloom for the next couple waters then drop everything except cal and Rezin. Happy Growing 🌱

This plant has been a pain in the A**... it started doing LST on itself prior to me topping it. Leaning to the side but growing upwards? Really odd to see.

Hi all growers, Day 64 Last week of big bud and last two week of fertilising, then two week opf flushing for the baby. I decided to add calmag to reach a ggod ppm, and aptis regulator because olants are really stressed from the olight intensity in some spoot and i hope to make it stronger. Let's see what's happen now. Day 66 She absolutely needed calmag. I gave 0,5/1lt twice and I already can see the difference in leaves. I think I ll give 0,7/1lt next time. I broghut ppm to 950 last time. I desire 1000 ppm for last weeks of fertilising. today: with ph 7 Ppm 1150 Day 69 Today has been the last feeding day for this lady, i just checked with a micro and it looks like i ve got 15/20 days max left. So from day 71 i'll start flushing with ph controlled water at 6.2. today: -ph 7 ppm 1050 Less then 3 weeks now :) ANY SUGGESTION IS WELCOME :)

@ the beginning of week 8: As usual, I alternate Biotab's fermented compost tea in the generative phase, alternating weekly with Bio PK Booster and regular Cannazymes to clean up the gears of my ladies again and again... 😁

Day 56 This plant looks fairly healthy overall, with a dense and compact structure. The canopy has filled out well, showing tight node spacing and several potential tops developing. Leaves are mostly a solid green, though some lower foliage is beginning to fade and yellow slightly, which may point to early nutrient demand or reduced light penetration. The plant’s posture isn’t fully upright – leaves show a bit of droop, which could indicate mild watering stress. Growth appears steady but not particularly vigorous; the plant seems stable, though not pushing out rapid new shoots at this stage. Main focus going forward will be on watering rhythm and nutrient balance. Allowing the medium to dry back a little more between irrigations should help with root health. A small nutritional adjustment might also support deeper green color and stronger new growth.

Well it's all gone to shit. Water temps can't be controlled with lights turned up..so turned the 1000w dimluxs off and now running just 4x 400w hps..had to stay in veg..given the roots and good wash and bath in alien rot x solution. Filter on circulation pump blocked with the gunge that's come off the roots..cleaned and refitted. 2 weeks before bigger chiller arrives. Keeping temps below 19c with lights turned down. Fingers crossed the roots recover nicely..

The plant again doubled in size. Not sure if it’s the light, but the plant is growing super bushy. I have already started removing some of the inner shoots, to focus the energy into building some length. The roots are developing phenomenally and she seems to be overall quite happy. Once she is a bit taller, I will probably top her to make sure that I can fill the SCR.O.G. Properly. Light intensity is currently set to somewhere around 80% veg only.
