Apologies for my extended break in reporting. I missed a good few weeks __time is skipping on my part of Earth, I swear. There must be some local distortion in the timeline. Strawberry Gorilla, despite the hot planetary conditions, is doing just fine. When the temperature hit 32°C, she definitely struggled. She gets fed every 8 hours at pH 5.8. No leaf discolouration or other plagues detected so far — only a few minor burns from the side lighting. She is definitely too big for my grow wardrobe now. I defoliated her yesterday, but handling her is becoming a proper space_walk operation. Mission continues __stay cool, Growers.👽

Week 4 flower 🌸 Both plants seem healthy and happy so far showing good bud development this week. I have been giving both plants around 500ml of water each in between feeds as the pots are drying up every couple of days. some light defoliation removing a few leafs that were blocking some of the larger bud sites. ✌️

This plant has should me that it never stop growing buds site it super explosive in flower it just doing great one is doing it sativa thing which is not bad at all again not going to able to harvest all at once . It crazy but these plants are actually my favorites cause they all show different types and phenos lol which is great cause they all will smoke some what different. Great plant and great genetics for not a arm and a leg

This week has been sunny, hot and wet. I have not done a thing except to keep an eye on Miss Gorilla Cookies. It has been a hot and rainy week and I did not feed this plant this week. That is why I did not record Ph levels and PPM, etc this week. I have really wanted to give this diary an honest, straight up review of Gorilla Cookies growing in whatever Mother Nature threw her way. She is tall and thin but has a lot of bud growth. I am eager to see how big her buds will get. One thing that I have not been super pleased with is using Miracle Grow as a nutrient. This outside grow was an experiment using Miracle and not my typical Fox Farm nutrients. At this point in my grow, Fox Farm beats out Miracle Grow. @Hindugod and I have been growing our Gorilla Cookie plants simultaneously and his plants look thicker than mine do. His weather has not been as hard on his plants as I have had here in Virginia. He is also using different nutrients. Day 58, 7th of November 2020: The 6th day since the lamp switched to be 12/12. I raised up the nutrition intake as it can be seen above only the BioBizz family 2ml/l and removed some LST because the plants remain in shape or just set a bit but nothing significant.... They look good and strech is on the way..... These Original Sensible ones are having really nice smell :) Nothing really to report there is crazy 2-3 weeks from now ;)

Week 4 update - through the first week of the stretch and all is developing well. It’s really only the one strong male that’s started showing significantly. Most of the females have trace pistils and are still rapid vegging as expected. Every plant continues showing excellent hybrid vigour and there are literally zero noticeable deficiencies. Currently, the count is at about 2/3 males + about 2/3 indica dominant fem phenos. We took clones of everything female this week so that we can bud em out proper in the dutchy cabinet once the pollen subsides. That’s where we’ll get a real look at the bid quality👌. They’re all quite young at only 3/4 weeks from seed but still look hardy and strong. Rigged up a new drip ring delivery system so that we could take off for a couple days and make watering easier for my mother in-law. Anyone wants the skinny on those, just throw me a dm - super easy design and save a ton of cash and time. All told - were well on our way to the final finish of this generation and the punnet squaring should be interesting once we’re done. End of the day, the grower in me is just giddy for the next cycle. Finally gonna have the option to grow a bunch of different fems for a shit ton o bud👍👌💪. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. I honestly didn't think five plans in one tent would go so well. For me anyway. But it's gone very well. Two plants seem to be about 2-3 weeks from being ready. Three of them look really good and really frosty but have a ways to go. Continue to provide the best environment I can. Closely watching my nutrients which will be going up this week. Note on smell... It smells like everything in there. I would say the most prominent would be two types of fruit and a turpentine type smell which is blowing my mind. I'll have to break them down individually when they're done to see what each one actually smells like. It's pretty amazing. Will definitely be growing Tastebudz Genetics again. Hopefully for my next grow. That's how good these plants are. i'm ready to go now!

3.07 I checked for signs of bananas. All clear. Some of the plants needed to be tied up. Strong flowering begins. I hope nothing happen to them 4.07 During the day in the tent was heat as hell. While I slept they were warm. Aquí unos vídeos de la segunda semana de floración. Ya tiene los led definitivos y la malla más abierta, hace rato que pasaron a la 8 ball kush. Los riegos eran de medio litro cada dos o tres días todos ellos con fertilizantes. Se me olvidaba comentar que la red mandarin es de flor roja y de las tres solo una salió con ese tono que me está gustando bastante y otra cosa que no comenté es que la 8 ball tiene dos semanas más de crecimiento que las otras pero se le hizo lst y podas apicales a varios brazos.. las red mandarin solo fue una poda apical a cada una antes de la mallla.
