Another good week in the books down in the tent. Carl 1 and UKBS 1 are both developing some nice buds, Carl 1 with the bigger buds of the two. Carl 1 had to have a few more buds tied up today, as they overweighted what the stems could handle and started sagging like crazy, creating a lot of empty space in the canopy. Timelapse for the week is out, of course. Updates as they come; per usual. 6/11/2021 - Got a video of how the stem's degenerated, it's mainly on that one side. Somehow an entire branch snapped off of UKBS 2, upon further inspection I noticed it was barely attached to the stem at all and did not attempt to re-attach it. Additionally, some of the clones are doing alright and others are shriveling and dying. Not sure what the inconsistency is caused by. It may be the medium; being soil, stays wet for too long. I can't really think of any other reason. I'm misting them, the humidity stays high now that I have a dome for them, they've been dipped in stim-root and supplied mycorrhizae. Will be submitting a grow question as I'm completely new to the whole cloning concept. Also today: more bud shots using the fancy EOS T5 Rebel. Stay tuned! 6/7 - Day 78/Day 38 Flower Lower leaves continue to show signs of a deficiency but haven't been able to pinpoint what is causing it. I watered with a gallon of distilled water today in order to induce runoff. I got the following readings: - pH: 6.3 - PPM: 1530 - EC: 3.1 My PPM reading is about 120 less than last week which tells me that my girl is still feeding but not nearly at the rate that I would have anticipated this late in flower. I'm going to hold off on supplementing with any additional nutrients until I get down to 1200. Given how much time is left in flower (3 weeks), I doubt I'll hit that threshold before my flush. Going to continue just watering and watching pH. I've noticed that the smell has started to dissipate a bit over the last few weeks. I've had a stint of a few hot days where the tent was registering temps in the 90s. I'm hoping that I didn't compromise my terpene production. Only time will tell. 6/12 - Day 83/Day 43 Flower Starting to see signs that my leaves are entering the fade so decided to take a peak at my trichomes to see how close I am to harvest. I'd estimate the ratio of clear to cloudy trichomes to be at about 60% to 40%. Seeing a few amber heads but they are few and far between. Forgive the potato quality of the trichome pics - need to work on my photo technique. Based on the guidance from ILGM, the flowering period is expected to last 9 weeks and I'm right at the tail end of week 6. Given my current progress and how my trichs are looking, I'd expect that I'll be in a position to do a final flush next weekend. I'm going to hold off on feeding any further nutrients from here on out so that I can reduce my PPM count and have my girl ride out the remaining nutes in the soil. Based on my readings from early in the week, seems like there is still plenty of food in the medium. On a positive note, I noticed that the smell returned last night! Assuming I corrected the problem that cause the smell to dissipate over the last couple weeks - I am looking forward to a pungent yield in a couple weeks!

This week we haven't really experience anything too crazy, plant C had a little underwatering issue she got thirsty started to look pretty weak the 1st day of week 6 (for her only) she had recovered by the end of day 1 before going into the dark cycle. As the week progresses we should see some more tricome production and some more development of the bud sites. I'm hoping the underwatering that happened won't stunt or hurt the end yield too bad, that was a bad moment of laziness... whoops. Overall I haven't had any problems yet with pests there's been a lot of gnats and spiders on the outside of the tent but nothing on the inside. For a cheap tent it's working awesome. It does have some light leakaround the zippers but this isn't a problem for me as I'm growing in a darker area already. But if this were in a bright room all the time this tent would be a bad choice. Now as week 7 progresses we'll start seeing more rapid Bud development and see some increased tricome production. To think this girl (plant A) is just barely over halfway done is crazy. I have ended up removing the entire bottom 1/3 of the plant in the form of defoliation of the yellowed and dying leaves. People say don't defoliate Autos for shock reasons I hope it doesn't really matter.
