GENERAL COMMENT. This week ran nicely for the two girls, of course one is going slower than the other. RQS STRESS KILLER AUTO. Super happy with the results so far, she grew nice size buds, in the surrounding and a big fat main cola, just beautiful. As we are entering the last week, of last tree days, I choose to lollipop and take do a pre harvest defoliation, the reasons for that is mould and rot, I started to become insecure because she didn’t have airflow and as i was flushing humidity started to raise, all good, and now just approaching harvest! Flushing with flawless finish and tap water.

This week, we’re happy to say no new signs of rot — just thriving flowers and crystal-coated buds glowing under the light. 🌞 Environmental Notes It’s been hot, really hot — outdoor temps reaching 45°C (around 110°F). To manage, we’re running the grow during night cycles, where we can keep the environment steadier. Hey all welcome to the first week of flower! So I was lucky enough to be home this week and feel blessed to have helped the lady’s through there transition to flower. The girls got a feed of both veg and flower nutes this week as the transition to flower. They have moved up to 3ltrs of water every second day as there must be a full 10 gal of roots now. The main worry we had was that the gold leave would out grow the indica dominant big buds and super skunks but so far the big bud is stretching the hardest out of them all (only by 2”’s) so the canopy really has needed no maintenance in the first week of flower. Lights are being lifted about a inch to 2 inches every day and all seams good there. If you have been following along the double feed a week is holding up well and no signs of nute burn. We did have a issue with Sulfur deficiency in big bud 4 it seams that some how her soil ph has again spiked up to around 7.3 so she was flushed out with correct ph water and then had a feed of nutes and Epsom salts to get her back in line. She has bounced back and now has green new growth not yellow. From this mornings empty of the de humidifier to taking photos about a hour ago the girls are all starting to make the tips of there buds and showing strong signs of flower on there tops. All plants had a solid run in with the snips and got there 7 day flower defoliation and will get the same around day 21 then left to do there thing. It’s crazy how many leaves these girls have produced over the last 2 weeks. Well until next week happy growing to you all 🌲🌲🌲

It was my first grow and I really screwed it up a lot, but it resisted all my beginner mistakes, pests, stress, being without irrigation, irrigation without measuring PH, revegetation, etc. I love her, really, in love with this strain. Once again, this week starts where the former one ended. With the exception of all the cables you can see in the first picture. I dared to install a minimalized version of the Raspi control only controlling the self-built humidifier and one blower/fan combination. I was very pleased to see how easily the simple diffusor can hold optimum VPD as long as temperatures are high and humidity tends to fall below optimum VPD. A single 10 seconds evaporation can hold the level for about 2–3 minutes. I am not pleased to see the Monsanto blowers rather underperform. It’s impossible to reduce humidity or temperature with both running on full speed, while a lifting of the tent door will bring immediate changes. With the Raspi/Arduino success so far*, I am thinking about using old Power Mac fans which are WCM controllable and use 12 V. At least one to increase air intake, and maybe even the blowers. * It wasn’t any problem at all to have the Arduino collect CO2 and soil moisture data, so after some more cable manufacturing (aka helpless soldering), I could extend the Raspi control. I’m still uncertain about the camera module (@trelorny impressed me with his time lapse videos). I don’t want to put the hardware into the tent with its not so electronics friendly climate, already risking some rare outages of the temp/hum sensor. But the camera module cannot be placed far away. So maybe I’ll use the 3A model I own as a spare part as a camera driver. Any maybe, if it works, invest in a better camera module. Mine is generation 1. Oh, and the ladies! Gave them slightly fertilised water yesterday, and even it or the better VPD yesterday or a combination of both make me believe bud growth is a bit more visible today. The smell in the morning when I open the tent to release accumulated humidity is outstanding. They were already thirsty on day 57 again, so pure RO + a bit of tap water until it spilled out of their pot’s bottoms. Many fan leaves turning autumnally now, and the smallest Sherbet suffered a bit from over-fertilisation as I wrote. But it this stage I don’t go for leaf beauty anymore. Just another learning: Don’t use differently sized pots anymore. Hard to feed them individually this way. VPD was mostly in best range yesterday, and I have the feeling it really supports their bud growth. I added an "Evening time" option to my Raspi control that allows the humidity to sink a selected time before lights shut down. That made it possible to have humidity in best range for most of the night time too. They were even dry again on day 58 morning. Another time just water. The blowers cannot cope with the flowers’ smell anymore, and so sometimes my flat cannot hide who shares it with me. Day 60 presents me with a problem: I’ll leave on Friday for a few days. Considering the microscope pictures are not from the tops buds: Would you say it’s safe to give them another week? Problem solved on day 61. Only clean water from now on, and next week will be their last. You won’t see any new pictures for some days now. Me too … Something I wanted to share with you before I leave: I just finished to update my grow box control with a new PWM fan hat that keeps the Raspi cool, while at the same an infrared sensor can now measure real leaf and additional ambient temperature. Setup is much cleaner and more robust now, but I wish my flux would not make the solder stick to the tip of the machine instead of making it flow and stick at the tiny tiny spots I have to hit …

By now I also cut the second Apple strudel so just papaya cookies and banana purple punch are left now, in the meantime the other are drying slowly, the guava is ready for trimming and curing. I’m very curious about the quantity from each plant now. Happy growing!

All I can say is wow. The crystal development and the absolute stank of this genetic is something to behold. A brush of the arm against a set of pistils will leave you with matted arm hair and a difficult mess to clean. Strong limonene presence in 2 of the phenos, heavy red color through most stems. Will be a very special harvest and a very sticky trim. The frost is living up to the hype so far

She was nearly lost before she began. After 24 hours in water, I planted her directly in Bio365 soil. But she didn’t break the surface. By day four, I gently brushed the soil and found her buried deep but alive—a yellow curl with promise. I left her lightly covered, and by morning, Ada broke through. This week was about not giving up too early. A reminder that growth often happens unseen. We started slow, but we started strong.

Bud production is slow and the plant has been getting hit with Nats on the leaves this last week ..she is still stinky and very sticky so I'm hoping for some decent buds for some edibles or oil ...we shall see what she does thanks for stopping by ...cheers

Water week8/1

I found an awesome strain with four seeds and tested three of them. The smell was pure vanilla gas—super stinky and strong. Phenotype 1 was the best, with amazing density and a frosty look. It was a heavy yielder too, giving over 7 ounces from a 1-liter COCO. The terpene profile is incredible, tasting just like cookie dough. Would I grow this strain again? Definitely! I even saved a clone. I'd rate it a perfect 10/10

Great strain to grow. Have done outdoors a few times so had an idea that it would take well to SCROG but wow really even canopy and all the buds are nice and solid. Trimming was a sticky operation, so so much resin and red hairs. Looking forward to smoking it! Really really happy with the yield

So it has been a bit more than a week since update but the ladies seem to be thru the stretch and budding well now. I think in the next update I'll do pics of the defoliation at week three(upcoming Sunday) I added some drip rings to even out watering between different strains. The Orange blossom gets two water lines pumping it while KK gets one and is still a bit damp. The adjustable drip tips just weren't keeping their settings and Blossom gets thirsty fast right now. They are just part of the floraflex kit for rockwool cubes, but with Coco I find water absorbs/disperses just fine.(I usually use 1/2'' black holes drippers but stepped on 3 of em..) Ladies are pretty healthy but lacked some N after the stretch here and yellowed some bottom leaves. I gave them a bit of Grow food in this reservoir. Just at 1 part. Micro at 2 parts, and Bloom 3. I really under feed and adjust up if they look hungry usually. I stopped using the Piranha and Tarantula powders after week two so those are on the shelf until the next rotation. But since I see buds I started, I added in the Liquid Kool bloom at .5 ml/l, again thats like 1/8th strength but its plenty. Too much of the boosters and stuff burns quick. I did a decent job keeping them trained back from the vert bulb this time so haven't crisped up any leaves yet which is great. The plants are about at 24 inches tall after the stretch to keep them under the big double ended. Thats actual height for the Krishna, but the blossom is bent into a bunch of z's to keep it low. These are actually some big plants stuffed in there, so hoping they make some good sized buds. Got some pics of the bud starts for each plant. No frost yet but it'll start by next week I think. Maybe a week until I pull off any buds that are not the size of a grape yet, and leave the good starts to get extra juice. I'm over trimming under buds since my last overgrown scrog.

I started using fertilizer. I use biobizz grow, fish-mix and alg-a-mic. I water it 2 or 3 times a week, adding the amount of fertilizer I specified in 1 liter of water each time. Huge difference for last week. I think I'm progressing well

bueno se hizo una por primera vez una cosecha por partes, como indicamos en el post anterior, se cosecho los cogollos donde la luz pegaba mas al parecer y estaban mas desarrollados, la cosecha fue con tricomas blancos tendiendo a transparentes con pocos ambar, en opinion ya luego de una semanas y una segunda cosecha, es que cosechamos pronto por temor al pasarnos al ser primera vez, entonces posiblemente nos apresuramos un poco ligeramente o confundimos los tricomas tendiendo a ser transparente por los blancos que es lo que indica la teoria el punto de corte, pero no nso quejamos quedo genial! subiremos el segundo punto de corte luego de 2 semanas . LAS ULTIMAS FOTOS LAS DE LAS 2 SEMANAS MAS 2DO CORTE.
