Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Ja so wie es schon vorher fast zu vermuten war, ist ein 60x60 einfach zu klein 😅 die Mandarin Panties ging zwischen den beiden Z-ups unter und ich musste sie aus dem Zelt nehmen. Die Entscheidung fiel aufgrund dessen, weil ich noch zwei weitere seeds von der Panties habe und die z-ups einfach mehr Potential zeigen. Ich werde natürlich weiter über die Panties berichten. Z-up #1 Hat keine Probleme, wächst vernünftig, zeigt keinerlei überdüngung und hat bei 570ppm einen drain von 1000ppm. Ph ist aber bei 7.. Z-up #2 Zeigt überdüngung an und hat auch einen drain mit 1500ppm, ph ist bei 6,7. Wächst aber super und zeigt am meisten Potential Mandarin Panties Wächst langsam, trinkt auch wesentlich weniger. Darf sich jetzt erstmal über natürliches Licht freuen und wird nicht wieder ins Zelt zurückkehren. Ich mache noch einen neuen Versuch mit diesem strain So long, bis zur nächsten Woche

The Cookie Girls are doing great 😊 Overall, I’m very pleased with the results so far. At day 8 I stopped tucking the branches and allowed them to grow up. In hindsight, I probably should have kept going for another couple of days. They continued to stretch rapidly all the way up to date 12 or so. At day 10 I cleaned up some of the small bud sites and leaves that were below the 1st trellis. These sites do not get enough light to make anything good, and take away energy from the main tops as they grow and compete. At day 12 I decided to add a second trellis net to provide support to the tops that came up so fast. They seem to have stopped their main stretch faze, and are looking happy and healthy now. I’ve continued my water, water, feed schedule and have not seen any cause for concern. The girls are taking a little over a gallon of water every 72 hours at this point. Humidity is being controlled automatically with my in-line fan and humidifier. RH is set to 57% and temps hover between 77-80 degrees with lights on, and about 70-72 with light off thanks to my furnace being back on for the cooler temps. The 2x4 5 gallon girl is doing great as well. 😊During the stretch, while I tucked, I snapped more than a couple of tops off, but the plant continues to thrive. She is going to have some great bud, the branch structure is nicely developed with tight node spacing. I’ve been plucking off all the lower growth, and tucking leaves as they block bud sites. Day 101 Sorry for the entire week missing but i was facing a lot of troubles.. starting from the heat stress that made foxtailing one apical and burned a lot of tips ( a heat wave arrived last week and the temps in the box peaked at 31°C, i had to start using the ac ), going trough a lot of lower branches removal because was really too filled down there, ending in a savage calcium deficency that hitted both of them causing more leaves damages (now i'm adding silica and calcium/magnesium in the "only ro" watering days). These girls are now entering full bloom and are just beasting! The size of the buds now will tell how big and dense they will be at the end. From here on in they will power thorough to finish.

Week 3 day 7. Buds are getting icey and stretching around 1-2” a day. Dropped the carboload and is going to be replaced by a PK booster (big bud). Watering everyday. Plain RO on every 3rd water. The kind LED is pissing on the hps if im being honest. Bud development and vigor seems a lot nicer. Stay baked.

She is still filling out her bud sites and the buds have grown considerably so in my case she seems more of a late-bloomer, she is covered in trichomes and smells like exotic fruit. Removed some more leaves, she had some more humid areas that could go moldy. Started only giving plain water since a couple of days. The previous time with the final shot of perma tea. She is clearly ending her run and my guess is that the soil still has high nute level, coming days will start flushing with more water I don't know if I can give her days of darkness since shell probably go first. The genetics of this planet of the grapes is amazing her structure her build and ability to pack heavy buds is a must have. Very easy to grow she requires medium feeding and takes well with multiple defoliation techniques

Growing report: The growth through veg stage was amazing couldn’t fault the plant or the feed BUT then flower stage is where these genetics goes all wrong! So two weeks into flower I see one plant had Hermied, so gave this one the axe, and then spoke to acouple of other growers that have the same strain Had the same problem So it’s now named (hermie pie) then in week 5 all plants Hermied. I managed to keep the seeds at bay mostly and slow down the process of them seeding until harvest on week 7/8 I got signs of bud rot but dealt with that quick enough it didn’t damage the rest of the the harvest. Once harvested they got a light trimming then hung up for 5/6days at temperatures 20/28 and humidity 45/60. Used Trimbag for the rest of the trimming process, got 6oz off 3plants 😬 curing for 2weeks in one ounce Jars 75% full. Bud report: Smell; is sweet and tangy Taste; sweet spicy taste Density of buds out of 10; 8. Some seeds found in buds😞 Thank you all for watching another stressful but fun and learning harvest.
