Day 51 veg done a bit more lst and hst and topping now gonna give it 1 more week then 12/12

The weeks have been progressing smoothly. They all continue to fatten and get more dense. My feed schedule oddly has switched from every 3 days giving them 3 liters each, to now every 4 days, I give them liters each. 3 liters seems to be the sweet spot for these 10 gallon pots with this particular strain.

This was the last week for the Cookies Gelato. They've turned purple. Weather is not that great anymore, and I want to avoid more budrot, so I had to chop them down 😛

The girls have basically exploded this week! They were drinking a ton and have responded really well to the steady increase in nutrients. With the room being basically self sustaining, it’s been a lot less work. Yesterday was the second round of defoliation and because this is my first time getting this far, I decided to be pretty moderate. There’s a few plants I took quite a bit off as an experiment and they seem to be doing great! The guy at my local hyrdo store recommended GH Floralicious Plus for flavor and smell, so I decided to try it out and this is some pretty potent stuff. After their first feeding of the Floralicious they are smelling delicious! The one plant furthest into flower is starting to show some fade in the lower leaves, she will certainly be done before the rest. She has a very sweet and sour aroma, especially if she gets rustled around a little bit. I’m stoked for the rest of flower and seeing their progress. Also I haven’t seen a fungus gnat in weeks so those yellow sticky traps are a must.

Harvest Report by Zuppler - End of Week 9 Yo, what’s good fam? Zuppler comin' through with that harvest report, Week 9 wrapped up and it’s time to bring these queens down. The buds are lookin’ fat, frosty, and sticky – they ripened up just right, with that perfect mix of milky and amber trichomes. Real proud of how this run turned out. I learned a lot in this grow, no doubt. Dialin' in them nutes, catchin' the burn early, and lettin' them heavy buds stack properly. It’s all about leveling up, ya feel me? they're gettin fat!

420Fastbuds FBT2306 Week 9 What up everyone. Weekly update on these two show stoppers and all I can say is 👌. They both are showing some really crazy colors and buds are nice and dense covered in trichs. I checked them under magnification and trichs are still clear and cloudy and I'm shooting for an 80/20 split of cloudy to amber. No major issues besides some fading in the leafs but that's expected at this point in flower. Guessing maybe another week or two before the chop. All in all Happy Growing.

Girls are doing great! Tent is very stinky inside. Started watering with 6 gallons now. So 1 gallon per plant with full strength nutes. They seem to want water about every other day. Temps have gone up a little. I had to install a dehumidifier. Also added a large metal 20" fan to counteract the heat from dehumidifier. Averaging around 88 f and 50%RH. About the best I can do without getting an A/C unit. I'm pulling out dead leaves under the bottoms. Still tucking in fan leaves daily to expose buds to maximum light. The buds are getting very sticky and frosty. Had to break out the box of rubber gloves. Or else have sticky fingers with a lingering odor of fantastic. This grow has been fun and looks like a decent possible yield for a noobie. These pics are day 28 and 29 of flowering.

They are all showing preflower and chugging along nicely.

They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. One plant had to go. I’m thinking it was maybe an issue with drainage because I didn’t mix enough, but everything else is doing pretty good. They’re a little unhappy with the light intensity but it looks worse because they were just watered. Fade is looking nice but some are getting tip burn I suspect because I did a 6 week flush. They might also lose some color in the next couple of weeks but I’m gonna be fighting it. Anyways thanks for checking in!
