The plants have finally bounced back from the hell I put them through 2 weeks ago with all of the training. Continuing to water every 2-3 days with organic kelp and rain water. Feeding once per week dry amendments 5-3-2. Keeping temps in check at 70-75 degrees with humidity at 55-65%. using space heater and humidifyer. I'm 7 weeks in and have a 5x5 tent with plenty of room to grow. Thinking to wait to week 9 or 10 to flip to flower to max my yield! Open to any suggestions! Days 33-35 Both ladies have been transplanted and moved into the Veg tent! If you look in the video you can see the setup. Both are in 10.5"x10.5" square nursery pots approx 3Gal each. Both were put into happy frog soil using azos and recharge during transplant. I have them under an optic 8+ with a cob as supplemental lighting Day 37: A light defoliation day today, especially for #1. I removed all the mature fan leaves that were blocking any bud sites or nodes at all. Essentially leaving the top 2 mature leaves in tact. I honestly did not want to do this! It was heart wrenching to mutilate such a beautiful naturally growing plant 🤷‍♂️ practicality wins in the end tho. I removed the 2 oldest lowest fan leaves from #2 as well. More for sanitation reasons. They werent8blocking anything but the uh were dragging in the dirt and starting to fade anyhow. I actually kept 1 leaf. My 1st time ever doing this. The leaf is so neat, overlapping itself. *transplant update day 37* In my very green opinion they look to be struggling a bit with the transplant. I like to wet my medium prior to placing the rootball in, sometimes it's great and the roots chase it. Sometimes they get a little water logged and it takes a week b4 watering. I'm thinking it's the latter in this scenario. Day 38; #1's top fan leaves are rolling in again. I figured it was heat but the surface area doesn't get above 78° which from what I've read is fine. Maybe it's a strain issue? Looks very imdica, ma uh be is accustomed to a cooler climate? Day 39: I lowered #1 about a foot further from the light. She is still all curled up tho. It isn't heat. I watered them at transplant per my usual routine. 2 other plants stranded extremely bad and these 2 are acting goofy. I probably over did it that day Day 42 and 43 In day 42 CMOG #1 needed some water. It's her 1st drink since transplant. #2 on the other hand is drinking a bit less. I also took 2 upper fan leaves off #1(I hate doing it, but gotta promote those bud sites!! Day 43nothing really to report. I videotaped myself plucking a couple lower fan leaves. I'm raising the fan a bit more above #2 to keep wind stress down. Day 44: 🚨⛈️Emergency!!⛈️🚨 Power is out! My light cycle is as follows: on at 6pm off at 12pm. Its 2:45am right now and the power has gone out. Which was wierd because it went out b4 the storm hit! It was fricken midday when the outtage happen!! My poor Chocolate Mint OG 😖 keeping humididty down is gonna be hard and my grow is very far from and natural light source even if they were on the same cycle as nature 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ if ur reading this say a quick prayer! Una semana bastante tranquila. Ni bichos ni carencias preocupantes, todo en orden. Así empezaba la semana si, no se veía nada hasta que ..... Y así se termina con todas mis ilusiones , visto lo visto no me arriesgo a perder mucho más y aun faltándoles bien bien 15-20 dias voy a cortar . Prefiero tricomas cristalinos y poca cantidad a tener que deshacerme de la mitad por la botritis.

Bueno , este es el segundo cultivo que realizó del la cepa "Waka" , el anterior lo tengo igualmente documentado en otro diario . en esta ocasión cultivamos los clones que habíamos recolectado del cultivo pasado , guardando los fenotipos que nos gustaron más y los clones restantes los pasamos a floración que fueron los que se le hizo seguimiento en este diario. El crecimiento fue bastante explosivo y reaccionaron muy bien a cada trasplante realizado . pude observar que los clones de cada fenotipo seleccionado se desarrolló con mucha similitud al de sus madres . El olor en vegetación es bastante discreto y en floración se pone un más intenso El desarrollo en floración fue explosivo generando bastante resina y se vieron muy hambientras . Al fumar se puede sentir un rico toque cítrico en las N° 4 se siente un fuerte sabor a limón en algunas flores mucho mas marcado que en otras, N° 3 y 13 un agradable toque a naranjas muy rico de sentir en el paladar , La N° 8 con pizcas dulces bastante interesantes. El humo al fumar es muy suave lo que permite sentir mejor el sabor de cada fenotipo.- saludos y buenos humos😉 Al momento de cosechar se cortaron los clone y se dejo secando en oscuridad a temperatura ambiente por cerca de 16 días posterior a eso se pasó a curar en frascos

Day 56 - Rinsed with Botanicare Clearex solution. Day 58 - 2 Days after the rinse and the buds are fattening nicely. The pots are still too wet to water so I'll patiently wait to introduce the new Fox Farms Bembe and Cha Ching.

All good here, ain't no complaints yet...not that preoccupied by the LST method anymore. Also I'm gonna bloom when the plant is about 12 inches so prolly at the 8th week of veg.

During the third week of vegetation I started practicing Mainling's technique. To do this, I patched the plant at the third node and cut all the underlying shoots. ✂️🌱 I tied the two main branches with string to keep them down. The plant appears to be responding well and shows no signs of excessive stress. ✔️

Cali crasher has been growing strong. It looks like she wants more calcium. So I gave her a booster in solution. I will see if it continues now after it has been trained good for the week. She is growing great under the Hortibloom Solux 350. Ciao ragazzi e bentoranti per i nuovi aggiornamenti!!!😉 Purtroppo ragazzi questa settimana non è stata delle migliori per i parametri. In Italia il caldo inizia a farsi sentire e nel box si sono raggiunte temperature di 30°C e l umidità è salita al 70% anche bagnando al minimo loro.😱 Le MimOrange crescono bene, forse il troppo caldo ha reso i rami più esili un po molli, ma tutto sommato crescono molto bene.👍 La numero 2 adesso misura 30cm. La numero 1 se non l avessi piegata sarebbe stata almeno 40 cm. Ottimo! La numero 3 è più bassa e folta, penso che dovrò aprirla e pulirla un po.👌 Avendo cambiato zona di crescita non avevo calcolato il cambio di ph dell acqua del rubinetto e il fatto che non usi prodotti con un regolatore di ph incorporato mi ha tratto in inganno.🤦‍♂️ Ho misurato il Ph dell acqua dopo averla fertilizzata ed era di 7.7 così ho introdotto 0.25 ml di Ph Down e l ho portato a 6.27. Ora dovrebbe assorbire i Super nutrienti che gli stando alla grandissima!!!💪 Eh niente ragazzi! Speriamo che le temperature si abbassino di un paio di gradi, anche per noi perché si muore, e sembra solo l inizio. Día 50 Ya tengo los 4 esquejes creciendo junto con la madre. Hice un LST muy fuerte a la madre bajando y corriendo muchas ramas para que les de luz a los esquejes. El tamaño de los troncos es muy grande. Pero si la organización que tengo pensada sale bien, se va a aprovechar muy bien todo el espacio. En una semana espero que los esquejes tengan la altura de la madre y ya empieza la floración. La verdad que me demoró mucho más de lo esperado. Pero creo que va a valer la pena. Hoy agregué micorrizas de un proveedor que hace aptas para hidroponia. Solamente me falta ir a buscar los microorganismos eficientes. Ya tuve que poner 18 litros en el depósito, dado que la planta está comiendo mucho. Ya pronto se viene la floración y va a ser la hora de la verdad. El único inconveniente es que hace mucho frío donde tengo las plantas y no logro temperaturas mayores a 24°C. De todos modos espero que no dure tanto esta ola de frío. Ya se acaba la fase de crecimiento. Día 53 Hoy hice una defoliación muy fuerte y corte de varios brotes. Ya quedaron determinados los esquejes a sacar y las ramas que van a quedar. Si siguen a este ritmo, a finales de esta semana se pasan a floración. Solamente un esqueje está demorando el crecimiento. Pero creo que va a llegar bien. Amarré hacia abajo las 6ramas seleccionadas y dejé que los esquejes se estiren unos días más. Son unos 14 esquejes que pienso sacar. Y quedarían 22 ramas. Hay 2 que no se que hacer, así que en total tengo 38 "cabezas". De los esquejes me quedo con 1 o 2 para mantener la variedad. Los pongo en tierra así el crecimiento es más lento. El resto los termino regalando siempre. Ya pronto estaré viendo cuanto se estiran durante la floración.

The end of week 9. This week was a bit of a struggle due to temperatures. Airco was missing and a replacement was found after a week. The increasing temperatures caused heat stress to all four plants and slowed growth. The buds are now starting to mature and ripen. The fade is starting now. The trichomes are still underdeveloped with 50% cloudy and 50% translucent. EC will be lower again this week. I'm hoping it will be ready before day 80.
