I had never done such extreme defoliation, I feel nervous to see the result, I hope this technique helps to increase the growth of flowers and not make it slower.

Week 4 day 2 since i start germination, and i think they are evolving quite ok. CS1 is for now the queen in all aspects, shes the stronger, the most beautiful formation with no problems what so ever , CS2 is following and CS 3 also but with mutant leaves all over her, i will however keep giving her love and dedication, mb in the end she compensate with some beautiful flowers 🤞 As for the Tropicannas, TP2 its an amazing girl, no mutations and growing as it should, TP1 is recovering fast from her accident 😅🤞 and she is on the way to become a strong and beautiful girl. The week starts Monday Jan-27, being day 27 of flowering. Plants are looking very good and healthy, albeit some bigger buds at this stage is missing. Carried out more defoliation of upper leaves on the CBD. Only trimming fan leaves on one side of a bud site in alternate fashion. Strategy is to expose more bud sites to light. Leaves are getting sticky and glistening brightly. Feeding a high EC nutrient mix whilst monitoring run-off EC which remains below feed EC. The canopy is still thick with beautiful luscious green leaves typical of an Indica. Light is maintained at 30cm above the canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering just over 2L per day. Bud sites are beginning to take form and the ScrOG setup looks full, ready for the development of some large buds. Removed a few more leaves from above the canopy which were blocking bud sites below. Also cut small stems (with bud sites) below the canopy from both plants which were unlikely to grow strong. It's now looking clearer below the canopy. The canopy is still thick with beautiful luscious green leaves typical of an Indica. Run-off EC has been slowly rising over the weeks but still under the feed EC - will be keeping my eyes on this. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 2.5L per day. Maintaining an average RH in the space at 50%. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Jan-13 in flowering stage. The plant is growing thick and fast, with very short node intervals creating a thick canopy. Carried out substantial defoliation of almost all the big fan leaves and a few little stems that were not likely to make it above the canopy. Avoided defoliating the major cola branches. This encourages the plant not to waste resources on a node which is only going to produce “popcorn” buds. The plants reacted well to the defoliation and were looking good by the end of the light cycle for the day. The net is completely full and this will be the last week of applying any LST as part of the ScrOG setup. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 2.5L per day. Lowered the average RH in the space to 50%. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Jan-06 in flowering stage. The net is filling up nicely with the ScrOG process being enjoyable - just tucking branches nicely under squares once stretched enough. The Indica dominant strain is really shining with incredible dense growth and thick branches that don't bend as easily as it's Sativa neighbour. I think it will be really big :) a few leaves are a little brown, I don't know why, but it's not spreading.:) She's a real lady, she keeps getting taller :) like with high heels:)

hi guys, although the plant was born at the end of summer it is growing well and fast, the vegetative growth lasted about 4 weeks

The home stretch week 8 of flower, Got a good look under normal light and they are really dark green. I think there is to much Nitrogen in the mix I was going to give one last feeding of Honey Chome and King Kola but I am on the fence... just water this last cycle and I think that's all I'll give until finish, maybe some Honey Chome in the next watering, I really want them to start to fade. and the dark green is freaking me out a little to much N. They are starting to frost up and they are SATIVA dominate strains looks like another 3-4 weeks before they finish. The smell is different between the two strains, The Haze is in both for sure with the earthy-sweet citrus profiles with an almost a sweet-and-sour flavor but there is a definite difference between the two, The Blue Dream Haze is frosty for sure and has a Pine/Fuel/Sweet smell and the Strawberry Ice is Way Fruity/Sweet/Pine vey complex smells and they are starting to smell need to change the carbon filter, I was hoping to do it after they come down but it might need to be changed sooner. so Enjoy the Pics and the Video Time lapse. I must apologize for the shitty incomplete diary. As I was getting into my stride a load of work came along that took me away from home for several months so I had some real issues finishing the diary.. The harvest was good. I had nearly 800g of flower at the chop which were all frosty chunky dense beasts. The terp profile at chop was a very stinky gassy smell which I would call diesel. Incredibly sticky and pungent. Really treated my extractor.. I had them dry for around 10 days hanging in a dark room with a temp of 19c and RH at 52%.. Thank you to Mrs Laritfor sending me these beans. The genetic is fantastic and very stable both my ants were the same pheno with plant 1 producing slightly smaller buds due to an unfortunate branch snapping incident early on. But the smaller buds were twice as dense ..Just lovely.

Happy 4:20 everyone! 🙌 I hope everyone's doing well and please remember to stay safe! The buds in my plant are getting bigger! Two of the side branches of Pistachio could not hold the weight of the buds (you can see when they fall on the timelapse!) so I had to "hang" them to the tent, yikes! 👽 I also increased the amount of Silver PK by 0.5 but I believe the PPM was a little too high, so next week I'll try lowering the dose of CalMax to see if that helps. Some of the trichomes on the leafs are starting to turn ambar (while the rest of the plant are transparent or very milky) so I suppose the girls are getting there! They need a liiiiittle more time since there are still some immature hairs, specially on Matcha. The leaves of Pistachio are also turning lighter in color and I've been removing them everytime one pops up. Anyway, see you all in my next update! 👍

Day 40: They got recoverd from overwatering. Leafs got darker because I gave them more nutrients, but gained early signs of slightly overfeeding ( Burnt tips on leafs). I had to boost them to fix it because there isn't much time with autoflowers. Now i only have to adjust my nutrient feeding with just 10 to 15% and its all good. They did stretch again, some growers love it but i think it is ugly and you will gain weak stems. Also the fans will not reach the plants properly, which is not good. This time it is my fault, i didnt want to let my friend take care of them while i was busy. What happend is that i could had raise my lamps again. When your lamps are to close to the plants( its not a big deal with LED but it is with HPS) your plants will get alot of heat and they will stretch. So the secret of smaller plants is to keep your lamps high, but not to high otherwise they don't grow proper. But never do this alot when they are in late flowering, because your buds will foxtail, unless you love to have foxtailed buds. I have to do something about the heat soon, because i want my buds compact and not fluffy. This will happen due lots of heat. Also due alot of stretching and other problems, I gained a messy cantopy resulting in many problems. For noobies the room looks awesome but pro's will see that because of this, the stems and branches are weak and everything beneeth it has no use anymore because it gets no light. The spaces between internodes are to far away, so there will not be huge buds. I also have to start give them cal/mag, i saw first stages of deficiency. Not a problem when you are early with spotting it. I didn't forsee that i had to work like 60hours a week suddenly while having autoflowers on cocos in 3 liter pots and you only can water them once per 2 days and can take care of them once per 3-4 days. That is not really ideal 😅 Positive thing is that the buds are starting to develope 😍 Thats all for now Day 42: I have been defoliating alot to get the air between the plants. There are still some leafs and branches i want to get rid off, but i don't want them to stress out to much. Also i have killed of 23 smaller plants to make more space for the others. This is always painfull but stupid if you don't do this. If the plants didn't stretch that far due heat and low placed lights, this would not have been the case. I would still have alot of small nice plants. See you guys next week!
