11/14 Day 23 from flip. The stretch has been explosive, so much so that I’m beginning to have height concerns. I can probably add another trellis net and lower it down a little bit, but not by much. I just have to hope they level off soon. I’ve needed to turn the lights down every day or two, and even then I’m at almost 800 PAR / 34.6 DLI at the topmost part of the canopy. The majority is closer to about 725 PAR / 31.3 DLI so I’ll leave it there for now. 11/19 Day 28 from flip. Well, the stretch sadly hasn’t stopped. I was able to raise my lights a few extra inches but it’s now maxed out at the top of the tent. The topmost branch is about 12” away from the lights so this really is about as much as I can realistically handle. I realize Ethos was up front about sending this strain into flower earlier than normal due to the way it grows but this is really nuts. We’ve now easily tripled, if not almost quadrupled, in height and lord knows how much there is still to go. Stretch aside, everything else with the grow is bang on. Everything looks healthy, no signs of any disease or pests, every branch has solid airflow around it with nothing being too crowded. I just need the stretch to stop and everything will be great.

The Blue Dream is a good deal slower in growth, but still develops quite well. Otherwise, the plants are not pruned any further before they start flowering.

Trellis netting is working and I'm spreading the canopy pretty well. We'll see what happens! I would recommended against the actual net I purchased, this shit is bulky, big and too stretchy.

Day 28 Veg Day 1 Flowering: Hi growmies. Here we are at the start of flowering for these happy healthy little ladies from Zamnesia seeds. Girl scout cookies #1 has now had to have pegs to hold her limbs in place as she keeps heading for the light but I want a more squat plant so will keep her lower this way until stretch has about ended. This should keep the main canopy uniform and lower than they want to grow naturally. It is a manageable size so far but is filling the pot out more each day. #2 is a little smaller in general and is also dealing with a repair from a major split on the 5th node bend. She has made sure it survived but I still need to watch her for any pathogens creeping in. Amnesia haze #1 has gone crazy in the last week and her f.i.m has really brushed her out to fill her pot with so many potential mains. She will need a little defol along the way now flowering has begun but inam hoping to keep as many of those fat workhorse fan leaves in the game. #2 has now lost the rectangular look and has also been held down with tent pegs in various locations to promote many mains. She is a nice growing lady with no signs of any issues. #3 was left a more natural pattern but will definitely have to have some stripping out done as she is so full of growth tips, hidden by so many big fan leaves another potential monster in the making in think. Now we are going into the stretch periods , I need to keep on top of the training to best exploit the space I have to use as I am now fitting another Mars light into the fun zone. (Diary will begin soon !!). A lot of activity this week with harvests on other strains and new seeds going in too. I also have 2 100L living organic soil beds cooking for the next run . Much appreciate all your likes, follows and comments. 🙏💚❤️💜 Week 13 Jan 8- Jan 14 This was another amazing week. Girls are behaved very well. Drinking their juice like crazy. 2 waterings of 9ltrs on Jan 10th and Jan 13th. Runoffs at ph 6.2. Buds are gaining some serious weight and the trichomes development is of the charts. Girls are covered with frost. Trichomes are mainly milky now with individual ambers here and there. On Jan 10 noticed on one Athena top colas a white topped bud! It's something that has never happened to me. It may be only led bleach or it's something abnormal and phenomenal. It's white and has red and amber pistil hairs in between and all covered with trichomes. Few days after. White coulour is not spreading and not seeing any damages. The smell in my cabinet its insane. Very sweet scents. I wouldn't say bananas but definitely sweet berries and gummies 🤤 new dehumidifier doing an amazing job. Humidity when light is on is between 49-54% and 52-58% when lights are out. It's all looking that my 🍌💜👊 girls will be ladies very soon. Harvest is coming big time. Next week planning to gradually cut nutrients down and prepare for flush. BAD APPLE WEEK 5 | DIRTY BIRD GENETICS

Slow but steady!

Day 1 soaked seeds for 18hrs. Day 2 seeds in dirt two seeds already popped in water and they where the auto's. Day 3 just keeping them moist and warm. Day 4 Northern lights came up and Great white shark came up. Watch these seeds sometimes the shell doesn't come off and you got to help it Northern lights shell was stuck and I took a tooth pick and helped it get it off. Day 5 Acapulco gold came up still waiting on Yumboldt auto and it had a tail on it when put in dirt.. Day 6 planted another Yumboldt auto seed directly in soil the other one was bad. So this one will be 6days behind others.

Today the girls are 17 days old and are looking great and growing fast. I performed LST last week for the first time, i decided to get rid of the bend and let them grow upwards. Im currently bending the branches to encourage them to grow outwards. I also use the ponytailing technique. By tying the uppergrowth in a ponytail 5 hours a day you maximize the light penetration. I repeat this process 3 to 4 days in a row The girls had their first feeding of Canna Terra Vega at 0.5ml p/L and are loving it so far.

Last phase of flowering now reducing ppms to 1050, RH to 55% and next week will be lowering wattage from 380 to approximately 300 which will help lower day time temps which will bring out any colours if she fades that way. Smells of cheetah piss with a sweet following.

Today is day 16 since coming out of the ground. I have to say I am surprised by the tempo of the growth. In my previous grow of these strains it took much longer. I attribute this to the Bilberry Lamp. It is going on 50% of its power but you can see just how well they are growing. If they continue to go in this tempo I might shorten the veg period by a week or so. I have fed them for the first time this week. I gave them 1ml of BAC Organic Grow and minimal doses of Root Stimulator and CalMag. Normally I would not do this, I would just give them the root stimulator but I know these strains like to “eat” a lot when they develop so I prefer to give them something to avoid a deficit in the future. Pheno one is going great, looks perfect and just like the previous Gelato I did from Humboldt Sherbinskis line. Pheno two has show another small mutation. You can see that one blade on the second fan leaf is a little deformed. However the development rate of the plant is fantastic, it is slightly better than Pheno one but Pheno one shows no mutations. I STILL have NOT decided wich one of the two I will leave for flowering. As I wrote before I don't like leaving things up to chance and I always do at least a small selection. Great thanks to Bilberry for providing a HIGH QUALITY lamp! Hope they continue to grow great. Fingers Crossed.

What amazing genetics! The trunk on this hag at 21 days could support a huge cola right now! Underneath the lateral growth is happening without any sun, the giant fan leaves from this obvious Indica dom are preventing any light from getting down there. Once we flower I’ll use those branches for clones and keep that central kola going. This is a rare plant, I feel fortunate to be working with a powerful plant like this.

Day 70 Well things have really turned around this last week. The buds are hard. They have gotten significantly firmer since flushing. The smell is super potent of tropical, sweet citrus. It and the others are too much for my old carbon filter to handle. I have another ordered. So now I’m just watering when dry til the trichomes are ready and watching the colors change!!!
