(currently.lights off in video and picture of this week) I really couldnt help myself. After checking up online and researching a few auto grows, i decided to heavily defoliate, clean legs and pinch off larf, cleaned up middle canopy also. I partially did this because i kinda of would like the height too stunt plus have buds that wont just be thrown in the bubble wash. I was forced also to pull down the main stem because of the height of my veg tent. The pin down has been recently taken off, but will be applied of needed again! Im also guessing the leaves have heavily clawed from the stress, after the defol, i wreckon i shouldnt have watered so hard... My bad

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

Came in on Monday this week after first round of feeding the Friday before and the plants had all gone into full flower mode. They seem to be doing pretty good! It's been pretty hot this week but I feed just water every other day or when the soil is dry and feed them fertilizer every other watering with 1/4-1/2 strength

This week we did some more garden maintenance with some light pruning. Added some "Grower's Edge" to the help keep flying pest under control, and we did a quick demonstration on super cropping. Only issue we ran into last week was forgetting to water the plants for a few days so they looked droopy, but with a few gallons of water everything was back on track in a few minutes.

On day 1 I adjusted the PH of the rez up to 6.2. I increased average ppfd to 972, with the highest ppfd on a top at 1500 ppfd lets see how she reacts and if she likes the intensity I will keep it steady till the end if not back to lower ppfd again. On day 6 I changed out the rez and ph to 6.2. Buds are growing and putting on weight very compact buds.

Since the video, I changed from a drip method to a flow. Creating better circulation and less stoppage due to build up.

I'm certain that I have borderline N toxicity by the deep, dark ever green color and curling leaves (leaves aren't clawing yet and I pray they don't!) Pretty solid start for this week, all the plants took just one day to recover from the last session of training and they are showing new vigorous growth already. 1st day fed them with my usual secret mix of organic good stuff Day 32, 4th day of week 5. Babies recover at max speed so I can continue to top and train them to achieve the wanted structure. They already show signs of flowering hormones telling me that when I want to flip, they are ready. Day 35, last defoliation of the week and I think also I will do just another defoliation right before flippin to flower

Shes actually already pre flowering the bud sites are already purple so I'm super excited to see how dark this one gets. I've seen this variety almost turn black it's so dark purple. Esta semana notamos que los Led estaban demasiado cerca de las copas cuando los apicales mostraron un inicio de albinismo así que tocó alejarlos un poco, a 40 ctms áprox. igual poco menos. Las dos Amarettotarmac muestran una diferencia notable en la morfología de los cogollos pero de olor ambas afrutadas, cereza, fresa, algo muy rico y notable a larga distancia, que huelen mucho. xd

Week 7 has started and I'd say, overall she's looking good and healthy. day 45: It's time to give her some water and new "food". I took the opportunity to remove a few of the lower and inner leaves and arrange them a little more openly with some garden wire and string. Regarding those lighter leafs in the top center (pictures under the LED make it really look worse) and the reddish/violet stems i won't do anything for now but observing. day 46: just visual checks and refreshing humidation. day 47: The soil was already dry again, i guess because of those high temperatures during the last days (up to 38°C inside the box). As she seemed to be doing quite well, I decided to carry out a slightly larger defoliation. Some might even call it “soft lollipopping”. But as a beginner, I want to try the experiment and I'm more afraid of mold than a slightly lower yield. So I removed about 1/3 of the leaves and small shoots in the lower area and also took out some fan leaves and leaves that were growing inwards or covering other shoots. I then used some string to give her a new shape to bring the individual shoots back to a more uniform height. day 48: just visual checks and refreshing humidation. I guess she isn't too sad about her new haircut. Additionally playing around with the smartphone microscope I recently bought. day 49: The first pistils are beginning to change color. No water needed today, but i guess for a fresh watering tomorrow. Removed some leafes that wouldn't get much light The weather should cool down again today and in the next few days, so I'm hoping for lower temperatures inside the grow box. Today I will leave the box open for a while and try to cool down the room in which it is standing. day 50: My guess was right, it's watering day. Felt like she needed a little more nutrients so i slightly adapted my plan.
