Week 7 Veg Report 🌿✨ Hey Grow Fam! 🌱 Week 7 of veg is here, and let me tell you, the grow room is buzzing with life! Each of the girls is showing off her unique personality, and I’m especially stoked about the Papaya Zoap—she’s really coming into her own! The scrog net is nearly filled out just how I wanted it, and I can feel we’re so close to flipping to flower. The anticipation is real! 😁 But before we get to flowering, let’s take a dive into something that makes this grow so smooth—ThinkGrow LED drivers and cables. ThinkGrow LED Drivers – Plugging Into Success 💡🔗 This week, I had a chance to work deeper with the ThinkGrow LED system, and honestly, it’s like a dream come true for efficiency. I’ve been using the TLD-4 Four Spectrum Control Channels Model One LED Driver, and let me break down how it works. The drivers attach directly to the bars—super sleek and no extra bulk. And, the connections? It’s a matter of matching the male and female connectors on the TDC-2 Daisy Chain Cord. It’s like a simple puzzle that snaps together perfectly. The TDC-4 cord takes it to the next level, connecting the top bars to the ICL-300 Inner-Canopy LED Bar, giving complete control and balance across every layer of my canopy. Why is this important? The driver-to-bar connection ensures that each LED bar is operating optimally, and the daisy-chain system makes it effortless to manage multiple bars without a ton of wires everywhere. It’s neat, efficient, and delivers even light distribution, which my plants are loving! 🌞 Are My Girls Ready for Flower? 🌸 When I look at the plants up close, it’s like they’re whispering, “Flip me to flower already!” 😆 Their growth has been so vigorous, each filling out the space with character, and that scrog net is almost fully covered. So, I’m thinking we’re super close to the big switch. Each plant has its own pace, but as a whole, the grow is looking fantastic! Room Stats – Tuning Into the Environment 🌡️ The TrolMaster system is still killing it with data and control, making it easier for me to keep everything balanced. Here’s a quick breakdown of the week’s environmental numbers, and a few jokes along the way! 😜 • Room Temps: Max 25.5°C | Min 24.4°C (Keeping it cool but not too chill!) • RH: Max 76.4% | Min 67.1% (Humidity stays right where it needs to be.) • CO2: Max 832 ppm | Min 420 ppm (Shout out to that magical 420! 🌬️😂) • VPD: Max 1.06 kPa | Min 0.64 kPa (All dialed in for peak veg mode.) Light Levels – All in the Details 💡 • Max PPFD: 506 | Min 0 (because, you know, when the lights are off, it’s dark! 🌚😆) Keeping the light intensity balanced, and using the ThinkGrow LED system to spread that goodness across the entire canopy, I’m seeing explosive growth. Those PPFD levels are perfect for this stage! Water & Nutrients – The Lifeline 💧 • Solution pH: Max 6.32 | Min 5.78 (Keeping it in the perfect range.) • TDS: 355 ppm steady (Every drop counts, right?) • Solution Temp: Max 23.5°C | Min 22.3°C (Keeping things cool, just like the grow!) And medium moisture? It’s a solid 100% thanks to my AutoPots and the genius of the AquaValve system. No electricity needed—just gravity doing its magic. It makes my life so much easier, and the girls are loving the consistent hydration! No more worrying about under- or over-watering. Day 43 - Commence the flowering! Flower sights are becoming clear now, with lots of pistils appearing along the top of branches. Watered with 1.5L with a run off of 120ml(8%). Day 44 - Watered with 1.6L today. Run off of 200ml(12.5%). Day 45 - She's getting thirstier again. Watered with 1.6L with run off of only 65ml (4%). Can really see the height gain by the day... Hoping the tent will be tall enough. Day 46 - Watered with 1.8L today with run off of 100ml(5.5%). Had a few warmer days outside causing more water evaporation. Will move to 2L soon if run off stays low. Day 47 - Watered with 2L with run off of 260ml (13%). Flower sites really starting to stretch out now. Day 48 - Watered with 2L run off of 260ml(13%). Will continue to water with 2L and only note when changes are required. 2L seems to be the sweet spot for this week. Day 49 - That brings us to the end of Week 7 and the first week of flower. Bud sites are now really established - I'll be increasing nutrients to 1.5ml/L for Advanced Nutrients and 0.75ml/L on CalMag. Total growth of 12cm this week compared to the usual 7cm over the last couple of weeks. An extra 5cm of growth can be attributed to pre-flower stretching.

8/12/24 - 8/18/24 Start of Flower - 1st Full Week Saw a potential for Nitrogen Toxcitiy. Dark green, almost black tips, downward pointed. #1 was 35 cm @ 8pm-ish. #1 was 40 cm @ 8pm-ish. #1 was 45 cm @ 8pm-ish. "2:30 am-ish - Going for a ""flushing"" watering. Hoping to slightly lower the suspected nitrogen levels. Warning Watch: Runoff was 5.6 pH, EC 3.2, 1650 ppm500, 2250 ppm700 at the end. Might be high but another flushing watering will calm it. #1 was 51 cm @ 10pm-ish." They looked great throughout the day. "1:00am ManBear (friend's name) became the proud surragote father for #4. She became his to manage the way he sees fit. #1, #3, and #4 have not been watered since Day #20. I suspect they will need it soon. #1 in now 60cm at 1am-ish. 6:30pm: Flush watering of #1 #1 was 65"

Going strong. End of week 3 , gave her a decent tidy up for more light penetration and air flow.

Finished transplanting the girls earlier this week. Based on the stretch from the mother plants I can get these clones roughly 36" tall (from the floor in a 5 gallon pot) before flipping to flower. So I can pretty much double these in height to maximise the final yield. We'll be on cruise control here for the next 2-3 weeks before transplanting up to 5 gallon pots.Then I'll have them in veg for another week after transplant so the roots will expand. By this time I should also have a pretty good idea how long they'll take to flower based on my information from the mother plants.

Really struggling this week I've stopped using bio bloom today 17/9 and swapped to plain water shes not taking as much water now and the humidity is off the charts i may fix it before I have a problem she looks good in general tho I don't think I've done too much harm

keep an eye on ph and EC i top up approx 2ml of A+B per day I think she finally stopped stretching , this is when I start to lower the base nutrients , one of them is a little behind the other , she has some wicked buds forming

Week 6 of flower, the buds are fattening up and triching out. The terps are super sweet and very potent smelling. I haven't seen very many nanners or balls lately, but I have seen them popping through the buds occasionally. I still inspect daily, but some days I don't find any, so I hope it won't give me too many seeds. I did notice that the bud that gets the most intense light has started having tips pointed upwards and flipping its leaves. I attributed this to heat stress, so I moved that light over bit. Day 38 update: this last week I was only watering with distilled water and the yellowing has progressed, so I assume I was right about the nitrogen deficiency noted a couple weeks back. Today I top-fed with a homemade fast acting high nitrogen organic fertilizer, we will see if this helps. Also nothing in my current flowering feeding regime has a lot of nitrogen, so I think this will likely solve the problems. I have also decided to give them an extra 15 minutes darkness for a total of 13.25 hours darkness, 7.5 minutes extra on each end, tell them its almost time to finish with ~4 weeks left. Day 40 update: still been pulling herm balls and nanners off the big one, the others seem to have stopped, but i still check them daily. Gonna be slightly seeded for sure, but I hope not too much. Also, the yellowing seems to have been managed after that nitrogen feed.

Hello. This is the end of week 5 and the beginning of week 6 of flowering. I think, after this week, I'll "not" close the tent at night. I've read that around the 50th degree latitude a plant will stay in flower if it is kept in dark for 3 weeks and put out after the summer solstice June 21st. As long as the light is getting less at night the plants will stay in flowering... So, 1 week to go and I'll leave the tent open. The buds are bulking up now. Smells like tropical skunk in and around the greenhouse. Won a runner up prize in a Ganja Farmers photo contest and for my prize I'll get, 3 seeds of Kush Mints, 3 of Animal Cookies and 3 of Gorilla Gelato. 2 mostly indica and 1 hybrid. Seed descriptions said they are strong. Oh Boy... OK. Be Cool. Chuck.

Thankfully she survived a low pressure system soon to be named hurricane Melissa...a good water soak is what she got…I.E. no watering for the next 3 days….Gave her a trim and adjusted the LST ties.

Biggest Autoflower Ever - Pineapple Express was the GOAT. 479 Grams Dry Weight, 78 Days from seed to Harvest Was a big surprise having almost a HALF KILOGRAM FROM AUTOFLOWER, Always thought 500 grams per square meter description was a legend but no, IT CAN BE TRUE Good luck to all my grower fellas, I will not stop on growing in hydro, even tho half of this run was in handmade hydro. It was my third hydro Grow and I see the Improvement Last one was only 300 Grams dry weight Strawberry Banana from FB Pinepple Express itself is a 10/10 strain, it says mostly Indica but feels like the best Sativa I have ever tried, great pineapple smell and taste, hits like Mike Tyson, perfect strain and YUMMY as hell, loved it, will grow it again probably as it's not only mine favorite strain.
