Harvest week for Auto Mintz arrived around week 14-15, with the two plants hitting about 90 cm and sporting sticky buds. The air carried a sharp, minty scent, and the trichomes had turned mostly milky with a few amber flecks – time to cut. Watering stopped a couple of days before, and on harvest day, the buds were trimmed carefully, yielding a modest but satisfying 140 grams dry from both plants. They dried over a week in a dark, ventilated spot at 20-22°C and 45-50% humidity, keeping their fresh aroma. It was a straightforward process with a decent outcome for the effort.

Darkness was sketchy but glad I did it. Should have cut plant 1 last week. Plant two looks great. Smells like candy. So stoked. Have two mothers and 4 clones ready to go. Clones went into flower earlier then anticipated had to “reveg” them then back into flower so they look funky. Might do a flower diary to show.

7/26 - Just gave them light watering today with RO water & CalMag 7/27 - Liquid feeding time. All is well in veg! 7/29 - Just a light watering today and a foliar spray of Ancient Amber.

Pretty much all the colas are foxtailing. I also just found out my landlord is selling the property and there are a bunch of people coming through for various reasons over the next few weeks. I just gave the last feeding, next week will be just water.

I attempt to do an early SCROG but the plants are already too rigid for that, so i will train the branches and the trunk slowly to soften the tissues. My objectif is to do a U SCROG.

Esta se hizo el décimo día de floración, es decir, el día 14/08. Esta fue una semana tranquila, no hubo nada fuera de lo común y la planta va bastante bien, esperemos que todo siga así. To push the pest resistance test even further (so far, the plants have shown resilience against fungus gnats, thrips, and excessive humidity), it’s getting too risky to allow the gnats to continue affecting my roots. As a test, I sieved fine sand from my garden and spread it over the soil to eliminate the gnats' living space. I gave the plants a good watering before applying the sand, and now I’ll leave it like this for a week. By the end of the week, I plan to repot them anyway, so we’ll see if this method clears up the gnat problem.

Girls are fattening up! The one is doing great, good frost development and size. While the other is showing signs of lockout or deficiencies, but is still growing strong. They are probably getting their last dose of nutrients next week, they are a 10-11 week strain and that’s fast approaching 🤤 RH was lowered to between 50-53% and temps have been steady around 77-79. Day 65 Update: Watered both plants with almost a gallon until runoff. Plant #2's water was dosed with Terpinator at 25ml/gal. 11 days left of flushing on Plant #1. This will be Plant #2's last nutrient watering, as she will start the flushing process next watering. Also added two yoyo hangers and two stakes to Plant #2 as her branches are getting heavy (not complaining 🤷‍♂️) Day 68 Update: Starting flush on Plant #2 today. Plant #1 has 8 days left of flushing. Watered both plants with almost a gallon of pH balanced water until runoff.
