Woooo! I kicked off the first week of the flower by mixing together and applying a topdress consisting of worm castings, biochar, insect frass, kelp meal, neem meal, alfalfa meal, mustard meal, soft rock phosphate, malted barley, palm ash, basalt, rock dust, gypsum, and leonardite. I also added yellow sticky traps to see if there are any bugs around, since I haven’t even seen a single fungus gnat during the entire grow.

one thing i liked was it started to get a little purple but that didnt really come through in the end. also i like the fast flowering. what i didnt like was that it truly was a bitch to grow, and if this were a bingo night i'd have crossed out nearly all the possible deficiencies and pest issues you can get. After being really happy with the purple punch genetics this one has been l bit of a disappointment really. i'd love to see more information strainspecifically to come with the package of seeds. like for instance if its a heavy feeder, if it likes the lights close or far away, and how long the flowereing period usually takes. Probably not growing this again anytime sooon though.

Well overall i would say i failed these girls but oh well, i have 4 more of these seeds so i will be trying them again in the future, hopefully i get better results.

day 93 ( 34 of bloom ) so yesterday i watered the plant and dropped the silicate out of the mix over all plant health looks great. i am starting to get some orange hairs 1 or 2 per cola so im in the end game now 2 or three weeks till harvest. i may do one more feeding then all flush till the end. - update day 94 ( 35 of bloom ) i am going to go into flush i think as i am seeing more and more orange hairs and i don't want to start late. Update had to harvest early because of pollen sacs

Hard not to play with them but i did anyway. These girls look ready being all golden. Close inspection of tri shows a couple of golden tips (not many). Top of heads look good but down low are still white hairs and no cloudy tri. I will wait another week. Having pulled a small cola I plan to try in a week after drying to see how it tastes.

She’s getting really close! I’ve started the flush and trichomes are almost all milky probably around 80% and then just a few ambers. I’m hoping to stretch her out another week but we will see. Hey everybody. Day 41. I have been really busy, the garden has gotten out of hands. Tomorrow I will start flowering stage. Just need to go get the flowering nutes. Still havent gotten the hydroguard, my creditcard is locked so cant order shit now. But they still growing and not dead so I take it so that they can still be saved. Hope that they wont freak at the lights swap and scrog training. All the best, yours truely, MrPlow! Day 42. Today was a BUSY day. It was the last chance to clean the rez. I was a bit worried to put the net over them because it means there will not be a chance to clean them in any case, and there has been a battle with the algae and other root issues but if I want to grow them in scrog then now it is time. And I am a Scrog guy all the way, balls deep. And the shitty thing is that I still dont have the Hydroguard, BUT I bought every freaking root product Advanced Nutriets has ever made and added them to rez, hope that can keep them alive another 60 days. It has to work, I like the Scrog style so much im willing to take the risk of not cleaning the buckets until harvest. I think its a must when growing weed, if you are a commercial grower, it gives you the possibility to use every inch of the tent efficiently. Great performance by this little ladies, they didn't get big as other strains but I definitely expect great quality buds, let's see how this 3 Gelato auto perform!

Another quiet week, plants are slowly loosing lower shaded leaves as expected, luckily they aren’t growing any taller anymore. Will be surprised if no foxtails appear as the par is 1300-1400 around some of the taller colas. My lights in total are using 810w, as I have had to dim the light at the front down by 30% a couple weeks ago. DWC really is a breeze during flowering, barely any work to do, kinda miss having a reason to go in there for anything other than observing 😊 Happy growing all ✌️
