Used royal queen seed fems popped 4 and 3 where successfully. Through veg stage no problems quite sturdy plants growth rate was the same on all round, had abit of nitrogen deficiency. Flower stage everything changed plants started to grow at different weeks and need separate feeds which became annoying, think this was done to pheno types being different. Drying stage: I used this new herb dryer called wedryer for to plants and hung the other in the tent. Wedryer works if you have small yield as can’t fit a lot, drys within a week though but also looses flavour. Have to wet trim bud and then leaves bud flat in one side due to them sitting on the dryer netting. Has fan with carbon filter which stops smells. (But myself prefer hang drying). Used trimbag to finish the buds off love this product and recommend to others to buy.

We have a runner. She's growing to the sun 🌞 can't wait to get her outside. The male I grew was extremely tall I'm going to keep her short and bushy, hopefully. One of my favorite daytime strains for an uplifting mood that I've had so far.

Week 10 6/9-15 Lemon ladies love the outside. Both are showing yellowing leaves so everyone is getting nutrients with feedings. 6/13 heavy defoliation and limb removal for lemon cake since she's now in flower. Repositioned the scrog after defoliation so the thicker limbs are in the mesh. Drizzle, got light defoliation mostly yellowing fans. Before and after pics and vids. I saw a Japanese beetle on my Lemon Cake and some small holes in the leaves so I added 1/2 tsp neem to the feed solution 6/12. Also started using fish & kelp. I'm still watering 1 gal per plant when I feed. With the heat and humidity, I water daily.

day 42 of Flower... gettin bigger and smellier by the day. pistils starting to go amber.. i say 2 weeks for gorilla girl f1 and Mental Rainbow to be ready.

From the beginning to the end this genetics was absolutely strong , she wins against very big thrips attacks, 100% well finished , true African sativa power my friends here ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

*********Week 6 - January 13 to 19, 2020 (Days 36 to 42 from germination) This is going to be a brief update but that’s a good thing 😀 The week went by pretty quick and overall it was great progress. She stood up more and her bud sites set in and are starting to stack.👍 Her colour holding, on the darker side, and her leaves are still narrow. In a way.....don’t care though......not growing leaves😜😃 Have done some further cleaning on the bottom and removed a couple of leaves that were blocking. Took off a couple of low nodes as well. Introduced Massive this week for bud density. She has a thick main stem but not excessive....little less than a quarter. She has lots of bud sites with six main stems that should fill-in nicely. Should help increase yield😎👍 Keeping wet and happy is a balance. She was good with 2L last week and by the end of the week now she wants close to 3L. I also bumped up the CalMag on one of the feedings a bit to help ensure she doesn’t show issues. Don’t want to use CalMag much longer though because she already gets lots of nitrogen. Not sure how much longer to feed......will go another full week for sure. I suspect she will run a full 9 weeks and more likely 10 weeks, then if allowing a 2 week flush you only go through week 7....and maybe 8.....thats next week or week after! Therefore, even if I push it I will likely only go another 2 weeks of feeding😟😓😕 Crap time goes fast!!!!!! Gonna have to ensure she is wet and happy👌 Little more detail: Jan 13/20 - Day 36 - 1L feeding of Sensyzime, Piranha, Voodoo Juice @ 2ml/L. Not pH’d......water been running 6.3. this was in the AM - PM feeding 2L only Dual Fuel @ 1ml/L, Liquid Weight and Rezin @ 1.5ml/L = 575ppm pH 5.8. - trying out the Green Planet line so I introduced Massive this week. - lowered temps in room at night. Down to 65 degrees. - suspect the narrow leaves where grower error and nutrient balance......growing buds anyways......saves from a leaf strip at this point in the grow:) Jan 14/20 - Day 37 - Hit her harder today with full strength feed. 5.95pH - Pots were light so 3L feed. Not completely dry......just enough moisture left....3L had a fair bit of run-off.....eating a little less than the other big girl. - Rhino Skin back in for some more silica. - Didn’t go......holly crap she got big last night😮😮.....but she continues to get taller.....the bud sites white hairs really pop now. Jan 15/20 - Day 38 - 2L feed today. Only giving base nutrients and Sensyzime @ 1ml/L pH 6.1. - runoff water: 900ppm and 6.0pH. - drinking more now and she doesn’t give run-off before 2L minimum. - keep an eye on the ppm not getting too high and consider increasing her moisture. Jan 16/20 - Day 39 - 3L full feed today. - want to strip a bunch of her leaves!!!! Keep tucking the leaves but even those stems are stubborn.....good problems👍😝 Jan 17/20 - Day 40 - She is hungry :) - 3L feed full strength. - runoff water: 1400ppm, 5.9pH........medium in okay shape.....little high ppm given what’s been going in. - Good growth last night....liked the nutes👊 Don’t get to eager through😳 too much at this point and she won’t consume them all😉 - In the tent with only Zkittelz is giving a little extra room and she is loving it. Jan 18/20 - Day 41 - She was not dry in the AM but rather inbetween. - watering with supplementals.......Sensyzime, Rezin, Liquid Weight, VeloKelp, Piranha, Voodoo....and CalMag. - 2L with 240ppm and 6.2pH - nothing in PM.....pots still wet......she is looking for a little less than 3L per day still roughly. - They are growing taller......top of tallest nodes falling to sleep sooner at night. - replaced CO2 in tent. - Very happy today and good growth with leave up. - 24” tall and 28” wide......with LST. Jan 19/20 - Day 42 - 3L feeding again today. Full strength again. - runoff: 1350ppm and 6.0pH.......still a little more left in there than going in. - stripped two lower nodes and 1 huge fan leaf. - her buds are getting wider and taller....filling in😎 lots of them......or at least they jump out more with how she is growing👊 - she is happy....keep the same and don’t change things......less than two weeks feed left. Day 71.

Flush week is here! Or was here lol. I was behind on my journal's and I've actually already chopped the girls (pics included) and will update soon with a harvest week as soon as they are finished hang drying. The trichomes were cloudy white with roughly 20-30% amber trichomes and some wonderful terp aromas from each. 100K has a smell and taste (we sampled a bud dried in a paper bag, was fantastic) has a similarity to Slapz from the same release and it is honestly a great flavor and aroma to have. She also has hints of nutty earthiness underneath from her White Truffles and they blend well together. Grandaddy's terps vary going down her branches so far. At the top her grapey berry aroma is dominant where as the lower buds are more heavily of flowers (violets, i agree with leafly on that aroma description for GDP) with hints of the berries. A sample from a paper bag was mostly of violet flowers and smoke smooth with a deep relaxing high. Better info to come with the harvest week update! Plants were left in 48 hours of darkness with attention to airflower kept to prevent mold Our drying set up: The tent light is off, with oscillating fan removed. Only an intake was left on the bottom (removed oscillating fan after 1st day was too much) with a small monkey fan pointed across to keep it moving along the floor, with the exhaust running up top to keep even airflow around the buds. I'm trying to avoid any direct airflow on the buds. The trellis net is lifted to the top of the tent, to hang the branches from easily with plant wire. Our drying conditions: The branches are hung individually after snipping off larger fan / water leaves, we try to leave some of the smaller leaves to help protect the buds and their terpenes. Our environment we try to keep in the mid to low 60s, but never higher than 68 (I prefer 66 degrees farenheit) and the humidity we keep around 60 to 60% but no higher, and preferably never lower. This is to protect the terpenes and cannabinoids from evaporating due to heat or dry conditions. I changed to this method after some research and owe the idea on temps and humidity to Matt from Mr Canucks Grow on Youtube, it's a more recent video of his from within the past year and was very informative.

Diese Woche habe ich mir etwas einfallen lassen damit ich nicht nur Photos hinterlasse sondern auch etwas über mein System erklären kann. Letzte Woche Sonntag habe ich einige Plants getoppt und sie schauen soweit ganz gut aus. Ich hatte leider letzte Woche he ein Problem mit dem Root Juice von Advanced Nutrients die Nährlösung in den Tanks ist gekippt. Ich habe es erst am zweiten Tag gesehen und habe sofort alles geputzt und Wasser gewächselt. Danach wieder alles eingestellt und läuft. Ph: 5.7 Ec : 0.9 Ich habe auch jeweils 20g Mineral Magic in die Nährlösung hinzugefügt und 1 Teelöffel davon um den Stil der Plants gemacht. In meinen 2 Videos findet ihr mehr dazu. Happy Growing :)

She was looking sad and droopy before transplant (probably overwatering) but after about 10 days in her new home she’s looking much happier. Getting good growth.

Girls got topped this week. I decided to only top once due to the herming last time. But they are growing well after the transplant last week. I'm happy with the growth and we'll look to flip in about three weeks. That'll put trim time around Christmas which I have off.

Final week, I think she will be harvested at the end of the coming week. Looking just about done. PH’d water only for the rest of the way.

Harvested these two ladies on D75. I'm over satisfied with the result, unfortunately didn't weight the dry result but the smoke from these two are amazing. Been daily smoking it for the past 2~ months and I still got a good chunk left. #1 Came out with a skunky and a slightly chemical taste and smell. Super nice and strong smoke, you feel your eyes getting heavy after a couple puffs. Nice chunky nugs, big yielder even under only 150W. Super satisfied with the result. #2 Was surprising, garlic smell all over the place. During the drying process I felt a slight wild garlic smell, but after drying it became even more potent and smelly. Upon breaking these nugs the room gets filled with a potent wild garlic smell, which translates to a fresh potent smoke. One of my favourites so far, unfortunately my tent is too small to comfortably accommodate two plants and this one wasn't a particularly big yielder. Overall I'm VERY satisfied with my first Mephisto grow, amazing genetics, super resistant (had a couple weeks of very hot days, to which they handled amazingly). A success grow for me for sure.
