Back again with are f1 crosses of mephisto's wedding and my gsc . They're 46 days old today they look decent but I wouldn't say good. A light has fallen on the left one this week and broke a top. Thankfully no other damage but the same light also broke the top on a another plant. They got there last top dressing on Dec 20th. The pot with two plants in it are showing signs of cal mag deficiency just not enough for two it happens this was a test to see how stable these f1 are And from what I'm seeing somfar they are very similar. The end smoke test and smell along with bud structure will tell me how I want to move forward with this project.

I would definitely recomend trying this strain. I am not sure if my seeds were from this breeder but my word the seeds i got were an absolute gem to grow compared to the other plants.

Hey, everyone. Sorry for the late update, but I didn't get my regular time to update my journals this week, so updates are coming sporadically. Anyways, as far as this lady is concerned, she couldn't be happier. She is just starting to really put off some buds and start her stretch. I'm not sure how long she will stretch for, but I've got my eye on the lights, to keep them in optimal range. Also, in preparation for the stretch, I went ahead and bumped her up to 75% strength nutes (with 100% secondary additives, like Pro-TeKt and Dyna-Zyme) which puts her right around 900ppm and 5.9pH. This Amnesia XXL Auto has a heavy haze lineage and I can already smell it in her. I'm excited to see what this lady will yield since she is really starting to stack up during the start of the stretch. 11/22 - Uploaded new canopy shots (48 hours after bumping ppms). This was my best experience yet with growing and am quite proud of myself! Training went almost perfect and the plants handled the resistance strengthened up and sprouted so many buds! All we’re dense and frosty by the end time! I dried in brown paper bags in 17.5-18.5c temps with a humidity of 40-50% and took 7 days to dry! I have them curing in 3L glass jars with 62% Boveda pack inside! I’ll be able to really taste the flavour then but it’s already strong and tastes great! Royal queen seeds are definitely worth a top place on seeds! Added a few photos after cure! The smell is like sweet pungent and flowery and the high is full body and u get itchy eyes and dry mouth!

previous watering was fed with liquid nutrients, my temperatures are not low so the nutrients come slowly with some intervals giving only water without much runoff occurring a mixture of soil and mycorrhizae for better performance i know i needed calcium and magnesium good the problem was money, i will continue with epsom salt the option i have direct sulfur in the soil has helped me hear a visible change. water ph 6.2 solution temperature 20 ° - 0.50 g of great white mycorrhiza 2 days earlier were sprayed with water without ppm via leaves - lights off to serve as a cooling shower in the heat is great for stomata . Simple led panel added as main light source 260watts being divided to 3 plants in the fullspectro tent model, did not get much difference in temperatures compared to HPS, is more the same spectro ratio and UV to reach more directly in the trichomes and terpenes. Large leaves, like a true sativa even if they are long, go in equally straight and thin shape, trichomes with glands larger than their sister, but this one in front really does not hear physical stress from something just high temperature training, but are very resistant To this, I imagine later on taking this same genetics at favorable temperatures and hydro. A strong smell that I will have to turn to buy a filter, I can not with curious and malicious neighbors need to really contain the smell.

How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. Last week of flowering (72days from the light switch) Gonna cut soon when the dirt is dry. A quite late harvest. Many buds denser more, and stem can’t longer resist. This season so satisfy. Nutrient Solution (Tank): Volume: 8.5 L EC: 3.05 pH: 5.5 Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients Micro/Grow/Bloom + CalMag Irrigation Run: Pump time: 30 minutes Total Drain: 5.0 L (≈ 60%) Drain EC: 2.6 Drain pH: 6.0 🔎 Observations Drain volume was far too high (target is ~20%). Drain EC lower than input EC → medium was relatively “empty”, plants absorbed nutrients quickly. pH drift from 5.5 → 6.0 shows some buffering effect left in the reused substrate, but limited. Substrate behaves more like coco than soil now (low buffer, fast response). 💡 Insight / Lesson Learned 30 minutes pump time is way too long → resulted in 60% runoff instead of 20%. For 8 × 1 L pots, a single irrigation event should be ~1.0–1.2 L total, with ~200–250 ml runoff. Solution: shorten pump time to ~5 minutes and re-test runoff. Better approach: run shorter, more frequent irrigations (daily) with a lower EC (2.0–2.2), instead of heavy feedings (EC 3.0) only 3× per week. This will keep EC more stable in the root zone and prevent salt buildup in the tiny 1 L pots. 27.08 Adjusted the pump timer to 5 minutes, gave the first dose of PK13/14.
