Hello Growmies,
As we conclude week 9 with our Epic Buzz trio, our spirits are high and our grow space is thriving. The introduction of an intake fan has been a remarkable success, significantly enhancing our control over the grow room's climate. Though not manipulated by Tent X's advanced automation, this new system has integrated seamlessly, working wonders for humidity regulation and fresh air circulation. The positive impact on the VPD is clearly reflected in the graph, showcasing a stable environment conducive to plant health and vigor.
The plants themselves are a testament to this success; they've stretched up nicely, with the canopy becoming denser by the day, promising an abundant harvest. Each Epic Buzz, from #1 to #3, stands lush and robust, with a vivacity that indicates they're on the right track. It seems they're set to make us proud, not just as individual specimens but as a harmonious collection within our carefully curated tent.
The precision in our approach continues to be our guiding principle, as evidenced by the meticulous adjustments to our environmental controls, shown in the steady data from our VPD readings. Our hands-on efforts complement the automated systems, creating an ideal balance that our Epic Buzzes are clearly loving.
Looking forward, the prospect of the flowering phase fills us with anticipation. With the canopy now in optimal condition, thanks to our strategic planning and the supportive role of the intake fan, we're poised for the next stage of growth. The thriving Epic Buzz plants, along with our proactive measures like the fly trapping, signify that we're not just growing plants—we're cultivating excellence.
Stay lifted,
Salokin
Super interest setup 👍 I take a seat and watch the show 😎 please keep us up to date with your settings because it's really interesting for me 😅
Good luck and happy growing growmie 🌱
@KrautFabrik, thanks for passing by and the kind words. Will keep you all updated on the settings once I get another extension to connect my heater and humidifier.
@Hologram, 😊, most definitely getting ready. I want to let them fade almost until the end and they are well non their way to this amazing super dark, almost black, purple; my last one showed as well towards the very end.

@nonick123, hi Buddy, so yesterday night I increased my fan speed manually by 10% (from25% to 35%) and it did wonders until now, managed to get an extra -15% of in humidity down from 75% down to 60% humidity. Will post the chart shortly. So it actually looks like the extraction only could work once controlled by the tent x and no additional dehumidifier needed 🤞.
@nonick123, thanks for the detailed reply buddy, will try to stay up until 1 am and try to manually boost the inline fan, as the I fresh from mars hydro, does not react on my humidity at all , as what they advertise, it only reacts on temperature, even though I can set a humidity parameter.. Will invest into a proper inline fan once the next paycheck is in. As the extraction out the window at same extraction speed already gave me great results. So let’s see what happens once the fan is connnected to the controller. If that still won’t do the job I will decrease lung room RH, as I don’t have any space in the tent unless a plant won’t make it.
@Still_Smoq, thank you buddy, that means a lot :) tent-x…. I’m telling you, is maintaining my environment perfectly, never had such a granular control . Will definitely save for another one for my other tent. Fade is slowly kicking in so i guess 3 more weeks until full maturation. Time to prepare for the upcoming Barneys run:)
It’s difficult to keep that VPD perfect, the larger the plant the more easy it becomes. I believe greatest influence on it is outside humidity. Nonick123 is spot on!
@Still_Smoq, outside humidity would be up next, I would decrease lung room humidity, as I don’t have any space in the tents anyways. And then sucking in dry air should work too… let’s see first I need that fan connected to the controller before I would buy a dehumidifier big enough too tackle my lung room. Coming with the electricity bill of a dehumidifier running quite a bit.
@Still_Smoq, I am a data geek so a system like the tent x is definitely right down my alley. Only the inline fan missing and then we will be yet another step closer to Mother Nature. So far I like what the system is doing :)
@Fatnastyz, tried some popcorn buds yesterday and to me it’s the second pheno that I had that reminds me of runtz for some reason from a terpene profile at least…
@DeepWaterGrower, thank you buddy :) loving the expert set up:) UV/IR plus the controller work like magic, will probably upgrade the second tent as well, as soon as the funds are there….
