Topped soil with layer of aquarium rock. Treated rather dry pot to 3:1 tap water:hydrogen peroxide mix, two quarts. sprayed 3:1 mix around/in plant, doused areas of activity in rock/soil with vinegar. Classic overwatering-led-to-fungus-gnats! pot placed on riser, towel sitting underneath to capture/monitor runoff. two days after 3:1 fed pot two quarts of water with added general hydroponics 1/2/3. kept tent dry with towel replacements, idea was to saturate soil with nutrient rich water after the peroxide flush. brutal. plant is not happy.

Starting week 3 of flowering and week 6 of over all growth. she seems to be very happy now that I've fixed the pH issue and she is growing pretty fast. I decided to do a decent defoliation and pull everything to the sides again trying to keep her as wide as possible. I also super-cropped a few of the shoots in the middle to keep them at the same height as the branches I pulled down and to the side.

I got the seeds from a local dealer so I was unsure what type of strain it was but he told me it was a Gorilla Glue Auto flower so I just went with that. That is why in the first few weeks I set my lights on a 20/4 lights on and off schedule. Around 7 weeks in my grow the guy I got it from said that his flowered when he switched his light to 12/12 so I kinda doubt that it's an auto and maybe it is just a photo. I then switched the lights to 16/8 just because I heard it is better to give them more rest and is better on electric. When I thought that the plant was big enough to go into flowering I just flipped the switch to 12/12 and two weeks later it started flowering so I don't know if it was just time for the plant to start flower or the flip. But in the end I got a weight of 1500 grams wet weight with the stems on and a dry weight of 215.56 grams of just straight bud so at the end it was very good considering the light I have and ran into some problems on the way.0000

🇺🇸 Grow Diary - Week 3 of Veg The plant has regained its vigor this week, developing a strong root mass, which is great. It keeps growing, and I’m trying to keep it as low as possible using Low Stress Training techniques. I’ve been trying pinching, which involves lightly pinching the tips of the branches to bend them. This redirects the growth hormones to the lower parts, maximizing the development of new shoots. I’ve also done a bit of light defoliation by removing some large, unnecessary leaves. Other than that, I’m mainly monitoring the pH. I’m trying to keep it as close to 5.8 as possible, but the buffers in the Terra Aquatica products keep raising it to 6.2. I’m wondering if this slightly higher pH might be causing some discoloration on the leaves—it feels like a deficiency, even though all the necessary nutrients are present. I’m cautious about adding too much acid to avoid overloading the nutrient solution. Overall, the plant is healthy and continues to grow well. I’m thinking about switching to flowering in a week or two at most. Since this is a Jack Herer strain, which tends to stretch a lot during flowering, I want to keep it in veg a bit longer while working with Low Stress Training and defoliation. We’ll see how it evolves next week! 🤘😎🤘

[ Information ] For all information on this grow, including strain and room details, please see the first week of veg. [ Updates ] Day 10 - Watered today, 1.2ec feeding of mainly organics (Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, Molasses, Big Bloom) with runoff. 6.8ph. Group one is stretching much harder due to plant density, I will be adding a net soon. Day 13 - Watered today with the nutrients listed for this week. 2.2ec at 6.5ph. 80gals total. Added a small dose of Open Sesame for the first time today as bud sites are starting to form on all plants. Added a net to Group 1 yesterday, I will add the nets for Group 2 in a couple days. Group 1 plants are 38-40 inches, group 2 plants are 32-34 inches. I may adjust net height, this isn't normally how I run a cycle; I'm trying a few different things side-by-side. The "one plant per square foot of canopy" group has consistently shown that even with a short veg period there is far too many wasted growth nodes on the sides of the canopy. The plants around the edge tend to branch out instead of up, as they're naturally trying to find sunlight. My last attempt at using these side branches with heavy topping of the middle nodes resulted in a higher yield, as expected as the light footprint was 5x5 instead of 4x4, which defeats the purpose of "one plant per square foot of canopy" anyways. A better test would have been to stunt the growth of all middle nodes enough to weave the side branches into the main canopy, though this seems to be a waste of time without much gain. I'm much happier with Group 2 which has 1 plant per 2 square feet of canopy space. While it also has side branching, the difference in height at the canopy level of the sides and middles are not nearly as different as Group 1, which means a more even light distribution without the need of a net. As overgrown as the room is getting, they still have 7-8 days before they're defoliated a final time.

Day 8-13 of Seedling Just been watching and letting the girls grow since transplanting into the Solos. Pheno #4 has a nice little bunny ear mutation on the first set of fan leaves. Will be interesting to see how she grows. We will soon be going into 1 gal fabric pots.

We’ll week ten is here and I’m amazed to say the least. The girls are doing wonderful. Getting sticky and thick. Probably going to start flushing the zkittles and purple lemonade here in the next day or so. Most of the tricomes are milky noticed one or two ambering. The blackberry has another week I believe. They all smell amazing. Can’t wait to smoke them!

Well this was an absolute joy to grow and a stunning plant to look at. Thick nugs covered in a blanket of trichomes with a intoxicating smell that is like walking into Grandma's house while she is baking chocolate goodies. The team at Fastbuds nailed this one. Great strain for all skill levels and I would recommend to first time growers right through to the more seasoned veterans. This is my second attempt so I seem to take longer than most to harvest lol I have to try to figure out why that is, I can imagine this plant in the proper hands would be a crowd pleaser for sure. I will definitely be Growing again but with a different training technique because way too much trimming and training involved albeit was such an enjoyable experience just not a practical one if Growing multiple plants. 2 weeks and I'll sample a joint and my pax to give my initial thoughts but if she taste like she smells than going to be a staple in my bud bar. Well folks I appreciate all the love along the way and to Fastbuds for giving me the opportunity to grow this fabulous strain, many Thanks!! That's it for now see you in 2 weeks!! Stalks Strong 🇨🇦🌴😎👌: 1:🙏👊 Update: 7 days to dry and now jarred until around x-mas. Initial reports are fantastic. The taste is smooth, creamy with a hint of chocolate. I can't wait until a good cure for this bad girl. This will be a staple in my bud bar and is a great strain for newbies and pros as it's very resilient and redponds well to any kind of training. The smell is intoxicating and will only get better with age which I will cure for 2 months just in time to show her stuff off to famila and friends. Just over 100 grams of solid nugs. Such a fun experience Growing Fastbuds genetics and my favorite strain to date that I have grown. Excited to grow the Fastbuds lineup in the future. Will report back at Christmas with some pics and updates. Thanks to all for joining me on this pleasurable journey and keep em popping. Stalks Strong 😎🌴👌: 1:🙏👊🇨🇦

I've turned the light up to 35000 lux. Up'd the bloom to 1.5ml/l. There still stretching and could do with more room but there doing well 😎
