May 16th - Day 86 - All good here, as you can see the babies are prospering. I'm quite confused tho when looking to other diaries and seeing that I'm like three or four weeks behind.. Might be because of my irrigation system but still doing good.

It's time to re-update "HiFi 4G" from "Dutch Passion" in the distant genes of which there is Fire OG. It is already the fourth week from the germination of seeds. Progress on the face. I plan to grow clones from the lower branches, which is why I did defoliation at an early stage and did not form a crown, since the lower branches of the plant will be cloned. 01/05 - Updating this a day early as they won't be 3 weeks old until tomorrow - but tomorrow's pretty busy for me... Gave them both a bucket change... added the Rapid Start to GG's bucket as her roots looked like they could use some (although I STILL think they look like OG has one more week of life to her than GG!) Going to start some LST later on today, a bit of ponytailing perhaps.... I have the feeling these two are going to fill my small tent!! Update: I went back 2 hours after changing their buckets only to find GG screaming in agony (see the pics of her teaching me a lesson)... the pH had shot up to 6.7 and she was NOT a happy camper at all!! Quickly made the adjustment and will check on her every half hour and measure her pH ... she's one sensitive little gal, is GG... Meanwhile, the same thing had happened to OG but, in typical OG fashion, she just yawned and said "Huh?" but I adjusted HER pH as well... good god! Second update 01/05 ... GG's pH was going up slowly again BUT she looked 100% better - her leaves had perked back up, the terrible crisping of them had stopped.. I trimmed off the two really bad leaves as they wouldn't ever regain any ability to help the plant and I did another small adjustment of her pH down again. I've also "ponytailed" her as I've wanted to try this technique and she seemed a good candidate as her cola was definitely going to be dominant. This technique will hopefully allow the side buds to gain more height and the plant will take on more of a bowl shape as opposed to a Christmas tree shape... Should anyone reading this want to try this, you need to know you cannot allow the ponytail to be in place longer than 8 hours a day... Interesting day... very interesting day. 01/06 - Well, the two of them made it through their day yesterday ... OG doesn't show any signs of any stress and GG is doing well although a couple of her leaves still bear the marks of her aversion to high pH levels! She's going to be the one I'm really going to have to baby but that's ok... OG is just a bull - nothing bothers that one! Ponytailing both of them again today... then I'll stop for a week before doing it again. 01/07 - Decided to do a regular bit of LST on GG - she's not as bushy as OG and will take more readily to that kind of training. OG, though, is still going to be ponytailed because she's short, fat and really, really dense. Did a bit of defol on OG yesterday and it's been well received by her - she's doing extremely well! Update... I've just discovered why OG is so much further along than dear GG... I was going back through the logs I keep because I wanted to know when to expect my newest baby's roots might hit the water - and I realized that OG's roots hit the water when she was only 4 days old! FOUR DAYS OLD!!!! That's unheard of... at least in MY experience! GG's roots didn't hit until she was 10 days old (her roots were only peeking out of the netpot at 6 days old) ... so no wonder OG has seemed like she's been about a week older than GG this whole time! That one is a ROCKET!!! Wowsie! 01/08 - Continuing to ponytail OG and LST GG... and both are loving it... responding really well. OG's side bud sites are almost completely catching up to the main cola so I think I'm going to just let it ride for a while. GG is needing more LST every day, keep pulling her over, letting her small bud sites into the light and they're responding well - had I left them alone, they would have been candidates for defoliation at some point - this way, they'll probably develop into good sized buds. 01/10 - The girls are really going to town but I'm having to do some hard LST on OG to try to keep her at a similar height as GG or we're going to have problems with the light distance soon. I may also have to do some defol on her soon - she's just terribly bushy! They're both loving their nutes - GG's is slightly less than OG's - and I'm keeping GG's pH at 6.0 since she doesn't seem to like it any higher than that... 01/11 - So the ponytailing days are over... both are being "normally" LST'd and they're both pretty much the same height which is good. Did some defoliation on OG yesterday - just took the two top fan leaves off since they were so massive they were shading the entire plant... she looks awfully good this morning and I'm super pleased. Starting to look for signs of pre-flower - should be soon!

Last week plants grew very healthy, as they got bushier the humidty raised providing a better enviroment, I could even reduce the amount of water I give them. Planning to move to flowering stage very soon.

This is the final week these girls have to get there tan on in the flower tent. Next weekend is harvest. I've been running straight water for the last 3 days. Will continue the course for a total of 7 days followed by a couple days of nothing to allow the roots to dry.

End of week 8 and the beginning of week 9. 1-2 weeks left before I chop these girls down. All my girls are loving the new light and so am I! Highly recommend. Only things to report on is, I’m still flushing, my buds are getting denser, and also they’re starting to turn purple! This is my first plant to actually turn purple and I grew a plant just before these two that’s were supposed to be purple, but never did change colors. Fun fact: my favorite bud to smoke all time is purp diesel, so this is great for myself! Well, see you guys on the next update. Happy Growing! ✌️🏾

I'm not sure if it's genetics, grow environment, nutrients, or all the love and attention I have gave them but the ladies have become MONSTERS! I wouldn't believe you if you told me they were autos. I had to go and buy a huge tent just to house them. They are in full on flower and smell fantastic and aside from the nute burn I got early on they look healthy. Went ahead and added a new 2000W LED cob just to make sure these huge ladies got the proper penetration for their size. Interested in seeing how much adding to the light spectrums will help them continue to fill out. I will be working out of town this week hoping my girlfriend can keep them alive while I'm gone.

Holaa, segunda semana de la Negra 44. Primer transplante para esta pequeña, se le aplico Great White en contacto directo con sus raíces. Los riegos son 1/1, uno con fertilizantes y otro con solo agua. Por el momento va todo bien, no se ven carencias ni ningún posible problema. La temperatura con el led apagado aumento un poco con la manta que compre pero aun no es suficiente, no puedo hacer nada más así que se mantendrá en esos rangos durante el cultivo. Cualquier recomendación sera bien recibida!! *Great White se mide en gramos

I used my Max-see magnifier to take some close up pictures of Miss Mango Kushes trichomes. She is getting closer and closer to a harvest. It rained a little this week so I only fed her a couple of times. I am currently feeding her @AdvanceNutrients Jungle Juice. I have not had to defoliate this grow. I just didn't need to open up any space for sunlight, so I left them all in contact. I also had a snail that decided Miss Mango was a good home for her. I have no idea where that came from unless a bird dropped it. All in all, it was a good week. Miss Mango Kush is concentrating on her bud growth. As always, Let's chat it up! See ya next week.
