The plants continue to grow although slowly. I turned the Gavita back on this week and even at 42 inches it seems to be too much light at full power because although they're getting adequate nutrients, the leaves appear to be showing signs of damage to the chlorophyll pigments. I'd like to splurge and get the adapter and controller so that I can dim the light and slowly increase the intensity to allow for a more gradual photo acclimation period, but I will probably hold off until my next run. I've also considered adding supplemental Co2 to help the plants more effectively tolerate and take advantage of the light intensity, but it seems like a big expense for an uncertain benefit considering all of the other variables that are sub-optimal. Perhaps I'll give those Excellofizz Co2 pucks a try. Someday I'll build sealed grow room with automated Hvac, feeding, and Co2 enrichment but for now I'll soldier on and hope for the best as the flip to 12-12 approaches. More to come next week!

The plants were doing great, i feel that this strain can go for a better grow. Overwatering was an issue for me because of this strain packs buds and leaves are very little on it. Next grow for this strain i will need to improvise the watering schedule. This strain takes up very little water.

Day 29 (Second Grow): "Hey everyone! Starting a new week with some exciting plans! 🌿 We've got about one more week before we transition the plants to the flowering phase. Just to recap last week's updates for those following along: We’ve named all the plants in both grows. This makes it easier to identify and keep track of each one, especially if they get moved around. It should also help you all follow along more easily with the pictures we post. We've built a SCROG (Screen of Green) net for the plants. A SCROG net helps train the plants to grow horizontally, which maximizes light exposure to all parts of the plant and promotes more even growth. We're using it to ensure all plants get plenty of light and develop a uniform canopy. We’ve placed a hygrometer among the plants to measure the humidity between the leaves. We've noticed that the humidity sometimes exceeds 70% in those areas. We're considering whether we need more fans, an intake ventilation system, or if a dehumidifier would be a better option. We're leaning towards adding more fans to improve air circulation, but we'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions! Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to watch both grows progress and prepare for the flowering phase!" Day 33 (Second Grow): "Hey everyone! Any tips or fun facts about keeping a mantis in the grow tent are also welcome!" Day 34 (Second Grow): "Hey everyone! Big update today: we’ve switched the timer to a 12/12 light cycle to initiate the flowering phase! 🌸 Our second batch of plants, just like the first, has developed well and we believe they’re ready to start blooming. This change should encourage them to shift their energy towards producing buds. For those following along, here’s a quick recap: We've implemented a SCROG net to manage the canopy and ensure even light distribution. We've introduced a Timor shield mantis for natural pest control. The plants have responded well to all adjustments and are looking healthy. Now that the flowering phase is starting, we’re excited to see how they develop over the next few weeks. Any tips or advice for optimizing this phase? Let us know in the comments!"

Nothing new to report. The camera I have is t HD, but the friend I have checking everything thinks I should flushing #1 in a week or two and #2 is only a little behind. I’ll be back home on Day 70, so I know they should be near time for the big chop. This is absolutely not how I expected my first grow to go as I planned to be home (and in country) most of the time. But two of three plants going strong is better than I expected.

05/19/2021 Week #7 flower. Gave her a good rinse today she was covered with pollen from nearby trees, drinking more water took 2 full two liter bottles before any runoff, soaking it up like a sponge. Couple hours later fed her some (1-3-3-1.5) N-P-K-calcium I anticipate two more weeks till harvest but we will see. Just got to keep her hydrated for next couple weeks. Apparently she is perking up! after taking a rest for a week or so. And putting on new flowers, and Tangie parentage is very identifiable in her SMELL! WOW Enjoy the videos.🙏 Ps. I decided to fix floppy stem, hopefully it will now put more effort into finishing flower! Will she swell in last weeks??

November 25th: I did some defoliation throughout the week. Water only, still. Decided to leave the fasciation flower, let's see how it grows. Lights are officially at 100% Giving BuildABloom every other water starting tomorrow. UPDATE! The light timer took a shit and blasted the plants for 24 hours straight, from this week until the first of December. Accidental monster cropping for the win! 🙄

WOW these two beauts are really filling out! No complains from me just wish I LST the SBR like i did the Dinafem but at the time the SBR wasn't as bendy as the Dinafem, it is amazing what one bend can do to help produce more bud sites. I'm sure that one big cola from the SBR is going to very nice looking though! My next photoperiod grow I will prob top, LST and trim, but i need to do some research again because I forgot everything lol 😅. My next grow journal is up! Today's day 57 and as you can see she's already starting to fade... I'm going to give her some recharge and a couple days I've been weekly top feeding with the terp tea bloom and watering with silica in between nothing has changed it's been the same regimen from beginning to now.. this isn't the biggest plant but I blame that on organics or at least the organics I'm using anyway.. I might do one more run just to use up what I have and then I'm going back to my maxi bloom and growing monsters again.. Zamnesia Seeds is awesome in this watermelon candy smells absolutely amazing..
