In der Erde von Sonnenerde ist schon viel los aber Ich gieße hin und wieder mit effektiven Mikroorganismen von Tria Terra um das Bodenleben schneller in Schwung zu bekommen. Trauermücken gehören zur gesunden Erde irgendwie dazu aber in so einem Setup wollen wir die kleinen Mücken nicht haben. Die Lösung: Gleich von Anfang an mit SF-Nematoden gießen. Die gibt es im Baumarkt auf Bestellung oder gleich Online suchen. Liebe

2/6/2023 - Day 35: After the watering yesterday the girls perked up, but they were already getting dry again. I was originally planning on waiting longer to transplant, but I felt like they were out growing their 1 gallon pots. Also, after checking their roots I could tell they were ready, so I transplanted today. Watered in with about 1.5 gallons at 6.4 ph. I know they say you don't need to ph water in a large bed like this, but my water is really bad here. At times it can be over 8 ph out of the tap. Mixed my water with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja, Rootwise Micro Complete, Rootwise Bio-Catalyst, fresh aloa juice from my garden, and BuildASoil Big 6 Micro nutrients. 2/10/2023 - Day 39 Veg: now that the plants are in the 3x3 bed, there is much less maintenance. I'm using an Ecowitt to track the soul moister. It started at 33% when I watered on Monday, and is at 33% today. I want to let it drop below 30% before watering again. I did do my weekly IPM spray today, using Dr. Zymes Eliminator. Also, I noticed some slight leaf discoloration, so I added some Pure Protein Dry and BuildASoil Big 6 micronutrients to the foliar spray, which I sprayed at lights out. A had a small amout of the mix left after all plants were sprayed, so i used it to slightly mist the top soil. Not sure I'd the discoloration is the start of a deficiency or just left over from the under watering last week. Figured the foliar feeding wouldn't hurt either way. 2/12/2022 - Day 41: Soil moisture dropped to 30% today, so I watered with a worm casting tea. Added some Rootwise Micro Complete, Rootwise Bio-Catalyst, and Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja. Watered about 8 liters and gave the plants a foliar feed with the tea as well. All of the plants look pretty good. The Grand Prix 2 has some leaf curl and I'm not sure what is causing it, since the other 3 aren't showing similar symptoms. Thought it might be light or heat stress, since it is the tallest plant, so I raised the light and dropped the high temp down a few degrees. Also, the Frozen White Runtz is the smallest of all 4 and seems to be growing slow. We'll have to see how they all respond to the tea.

In future I must take not that lamb’s Breath can thrive in cold conditions, but I am going to witness if the growth will accelerate or just level out with the coming of spring. Week 6 starts with a mild weather but in a couple of days a cold front makes land fall in Jozi and the last brought snow, but my babies survived and look at the love of my life, showing aggression when it comes to growth… I wonder if the transplant and the extreme cold will hinder growth, nature does miracles in front of us on a daily. She’s loving the compost mix, hopefully she will love her new home, if my calculations are right, all I have to do is only add nutrient only when I defoliate. The amount of nutrients in this medium is boardline toxic.

Hello. This is the end of week 12 and the beginning of week 13 of veg. The plants are doing good. Getting a gallon of rainwater every 3 to 4 days now. My wife doesn't like the tomato seeds and throws them in the compost. 😝 and I've mixed in about 5 gallons per pot. I must have picked about 40 little tomato seedlings out of the pots. 😏 Being a retired couple we don't need that many. Still another week or 2 before forcing flowering. I'll decide after this week. I don’t know whether the original breeders Anesia’s BlackBerry Moonrocks is better or has more stable pheno variation, I grew one seed and it came out pretty good, other than these overtly purple (tasting) strains I’m not all that fussy weed wise. Shame but if you dig this sort of thing, I’d recommend this hardy relatively quick finishing plant. Yielded just about 4 ounces which is on point, even the lower stuff wasn’t larf it was caked popcorn bud.

Sad news. Due to no fault but my own the sherberts were subjected to some very badly managed environmental factors. I have been busy building our new grow space and was not checking the plants at the back of the space. The 2 sherberts were there at the back and the RH went on a roller coaster over 4 days with temps swinging massively also due to an unmanaged dehumidifier.. the end result was both sherberts stressed out and grew some pollen sacs and I did not see so the burst and pollinated my entire flower room. Gutted. But I will push through the last few weeks of flower with all the current grows and see what we get. I had to chop alot of lower bud. Sacs had burst so I just did a very have clear. Have I mentioned I'm gutted. And this is not a reflection of weedseedsexpress genetics. I have looked at the data logs for last 9 days and it's so up and down with rh and temp it's no wonder they stressed. Next round less plants and I have to stop with the clones.. no room. Ending the first week and entering the 2nd week leaving my plants as I'm off to Mary Jane Berlin. I'll be absent for 9 days so I'm facing the challenges how to make sure they'll be okay when I'm back. As you can see I'm saying goodbye from perfect canopy with 9 plants as I've found 3 males that needed to be removed in order to prevent any polination during my absence. I'm eager to see what will happen when I'm back but for now I need to be in Berlin meeting some of you amazing people from the community. Hopefully the remaining 6 are females and they will wait for me in a good state. I'm leaving them in the worst possible moment as they are stretching, showing sex, and weather forecast is extremely hot. This makes my runs unique with all the challenges we are facing each time. Who said growing is stress free? 😂💚

Was another easy week - lots of healthy growth. Simply watered when dry, did some daily LST and leaf tucking. The green crack is definitely the fastest growing out of all the plants, and the one runt LSD25 is a bit smaller but still chugging along.

Week 2 (08.29.2021 - 09.04.2021) Nothing much to report this week. The ladies are looking fantastic. The canopy is from wall-to-wall. The stretch seems to have slowed down quite a bit. However, I've raised my light up as high as it will go with the rope ratchets. If the canopy gets much closer to the light fixture I'm going to have to figure out a way to create some distance. Tying down some branches at this point would be a real pain in the ass, so I'm trying to avoid that. Gran Turismo is really looking sharp! The leaves are a beautiful, dark green and it's growing so fast. I think it might be my favorite seedling – it's got this really strong stem, and it stands tall. I can tell it's gonna be a healthy plant when it grows up.

7/6 Plants looked great thos morning. I WATERED A GALLON to the 50 and split one between the two tens. Top of the bags are still moist amd they still have some heft. I'm hoping this will at least carry me 48hrs. These are BIG plants and the wind goes right through those bags and dries them out. I'd rather have that though than worry about overwatering. I noticed some minor deficiencies on a couple plants so it's time to start the nutes. Calcium I'd guess. Just a beginning stage but it's time. Next feeding they'll get some food too. I'll still monitor during the day to make sure they ront dry out. It's amazing how fast they come back after they dry out but it stresses them.
