leliantu New grow, I'm going to do it with SCROG using a California Orange from Dutch Passion and a Gelato bulk from GrowBarato. I'm starting this cycle with some new tools like the pH and EC meter that also measures temperature; I invested more money, so I hope it's more reliable than the previous meters.

leliantu 18 days. They're growing well, although the Gelato that germinated after the CO is already almost catching up to the latter. The trend continues with the bulk seeds from GrowBarato, strong and vigorous.

leliantu 27 days of vegetation, they're growing strong, I've already installed the net, next week the apical pruning is coming up. Both plants have developed a good stem with a diameter of 1 cm, the change in the cultivation (especially at the beginning) that using Mycorrhizae produces is impressive, the plant grows vigorous and healthy. I increased the nutrient dose and plan to maintain 1ml of fertilizer per liter throughout the entire vegetative period and alternate with watering with enzymes.

leliantu 33 days, I did defoliation and apical cutting and the Gelato reacted really well while the California Orange was affected and still hasn't fully recovered. To help alleviate the stress, I increased the dose of Green Explosion by 1 ml.

leliantu Day 51 since germination. They're growing at a good pace, I made a mistake by defoliating too high on the branches so I'm going to have to extend the vegetative period. The Gelato is showing super vigor and doesn't take long to recover from defoliation; on the contrary, the Orange has proven to be more sensitive to this technique. One more week and I'm going to start gradually shortening "the days" in the tent, half an hour per day.

leliantu Day 60 since germination. The net is almost covered, however, I'm afraid that the mistake I made by defoliating too low on the branches will end up penalizing the final yield. On the other hand, the plants continue to grow at a good pace, both have developed a great stem and strong branches. The Gelato from GrowBarato is still showing great vigor and strength, the California Orange has already recovered from the last defoliation and has regained some vigor and looks better. Still, I maintain my opinion that it is an extremely delicate strain and lacks strength. I think I'll leave them vegetating for another week and then gradually reduce the photoperiod. I was thinking of reducing it by half an hour daily and seeing how the plants behave. I'm not in a hurry and I'm interested in experimenting and having a good grow. Happy growing.

leliantu Day 66 since germination. 1 week into flowering, I'm gradually changing the light cycle to see how the plants respond, 1/2 hour every day. The plants have regained their vigor, both the Gelato and the California Orange are growing at a good pace and are fully recovered after being a bit down for a few days. This week I started applying the flowering booster (Big One) as a foliar spray.

leliantu Second week since the change in photoperiod, the plants have started to stretch and are already covering almost the entire net. In some branches, the white pistils are already peeking out (still very small and thin), which is a clear sign that the plant has identified that "its nights" are getting longer. For now, they are growing healthy and strong, may they continue like this.

leliantu 3 weeks into flowering, the plants are already forming flowers. I didn't manage to cover the entire net; for the next scrog, I know I need to prune a week earlier and not apply defoliation on the lower part of the branches until I have a good portion of the net covered. For now, they are growing healthy and vigorous. Starting from week 4, I'll begin applying the flowering nutrients.

leliantu 4th week of flowering. The flowers are forming at the tips and along the branches, I started applying flowering fertilizer but in low doses. As the plant grows and needs more nutrients, I will increase the dosage; I want to avoid over-fertilization at all costs, which has been my main problem and obstacle in previous grows. For now, the plants are growing very well. This week I’m going to apply a preventive for foliar fungi and sucking bugs (thrips, how I hate them!). Sorry for the quality of the photos, my camera isn't very good.

leliantu 41 days since the change of photoperiod. Apparently, in my eagerness to avoid over-fertilization, I caused a nutrient deficiency, or rather, the plants were starving. During this week, the small and large leaves started to yellow, so I increased the fertilizer doses and the EC to 1.1 (I had been keeping it at a maximum of 0.8), the plants reacted well and the change in the size of the flowers was noticeable. In the coming weeks, I will increase the EC to 1.5.

leliantu Week 7 since the change of photoperiod. The plants are growing well, they're eating a lot, and I have to water every other day. I'm applying a watering of water with enzymes and a watering with fertilizers (this week I fertilized 2 times), I increased the EC of the solution with fertilizers to 1.6 this week. They have a couple of weeks left before I start flushing the roots. They have a very nice aroma, the California has a scent that's a mix of citrus and sour that I love.

leliantu 62 days since the switch to 12/12. This week, on Monday the 16th, was the last week with nutrients, and since Wednesday I've been watering with Flawless Finish (I've done 3 waterings: Wednesday the 18th, Friday the 20th, Sunday the 22nd) to clean the roots. The plants have responded well, the leaves started to fade, taking on some really nice hues. I'm not in a hurry and I think I'm going to give them another week. Happy growing everyone.

leliantu Great grow. Overall, it's been the best one I've done so far. On the technical side, I stabilized the watering and food amounts, although in an excess of zeal to avoid over-fertilizing, the plants went hungry for a couple of weeks. I'm going to keep growing in SCROG; I like the technique and find it efficient. However, I will take some considerations into account for the next grows: I need to prune earlier or, if not, do it at a certain height of the plant to distribute the foliage well across the net, and I need to be more careful with the pruning. In this grow, I overdid it with the prunings and ruined several buds that could have turned into more branches, which unnecessarily delayed and extended the entire vegetative period of both plants. In particular, this strain is one of my favorites; the high is chill and happy. The plant isn't difficult to grow, but it does have a marked tendency towards hermaphroditism, which has happened to me every time I've grown it (at least 4 times), although in this grow, its presence was limited to one branch. That's it for now; this review was done with the buds having 10 days of drying. I've already put them in jars, and they're just starting the curing process. I'll update this diary again in 30 days.

leliantu Great grow. Overall, it's been the best one I've done so far. On the technical side, I stabilized the watering and the amount of food, although in an excess of zeal to avoid over-fertilizing, the plants went hungry for a couple of weeks: I'm going to keep growing in SCROG; I find the technique comfortable and efficient. However, I will take some considerations into account for the next grows: I need to prune earlier or, if not, do it at a certain height of the plant to distribute the foliage well across the net, and I need to be more careful with the prunings. In this grow, I overdid the prunings and ruined several shoots that could have turned into more branches, which unnecessarily delayed and extended the vegetative period of both plants. Now, regarding this strain, I must say that I'm super happy with the result, a strong and vigorous plant (a characteristic that repeats in the strains I've grown from GrowBarato). It didn't suffer much from the prunings or defoliations, eats a lot, and it looks like it can grow a lot. 5 thumbs up for GrowBarato for their bulk seeds. That's it for now; this review was done with the buds after 10 days of drying. I've already put them in jars, and they're just starting the curing process. I'll update this diary again in 30 days. These buds are amazing; after more than 30 days of curing, they're releasing all the goodness, which translates into a potent and lasting effect. I've tried them in a vaporizer and in a joint; in the vaporizer, the effect is more manageable, very relaxing and focused, while in a joint, you feel all the power—definitely a head rush. Thumbs up @growbarato_seeds.
