I noticed that this plant starts to smell sweet, flowery, and fruity especially at lower temperatures. When temps rise, the aroma shifts to spicy and gassy. I’ve never seen this happen with any other strain. I’ll definitely try to keep the temps lower from now on — hopefully, that awesome sweet smell carries over into the smoke. Everything else looks healthy and happy. The buds are getting heavy and starting to fall over a bit. The way I BDSM’d this poor girl, the branches are a bit too flimsy to hold them up.

I started germination of 1 orange sherbert bean on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plug was just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made hole. Than I sowed my bean into the hole. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the hole in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plug into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see a sprout. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plug planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get this lady situated into her home. Cant wait! Some Background information on history with Orange Sherbert. I have grown orange sherbert out 3 times and all times had the same result. A shorter extremely branchy robust plant. That dominated the room. Loves training and really ups yeilds doing so. She produces an amazing canopy... just a sea of daggers. Her huge chunky colas pack and amazing orange tangy aroma and just taste like heavenly candy! Barneys Farm hit the nail on the head with this variety! She tends to have a little higher demand for potassium mid flower than most varieties. So a bit heavier on the pk booster and she will be mighty happy! Just a fabulous strain to work with.

Northern lights grew great in the Pro-mix medium size hp bag. She had a struggle through the grow. She really wanted more space to root. I did have a salt build up towards the end of vegging. A few minor issues beside that. She did fill the little Spider Farmer tent. She turned out great. Thanks again Pro-mix, Medic Grow, Spider Farmer, and Divine Seeds. This wasca slightly different style grow compared to my usual methods using the Pro-mix. Well, this week has been iffy! I have to make a correction...the lights I used before were my headlights, documented in my previous grow. It seems the green lights kept my plants in veg. I have since removed them and continued forward as scheduled. We'll see what happens from here. If they correct, I'll have a mess on my hands and a lesson learned, lol. And my army as arrived lol its IPM time with in this case is not preventive but its attacking a situation !!!! In my humble opinion wen growing in organics one fight life with more life and in this case i broth the big guns, i am talking about applying nematodes (steinernema faltiae) with you cant see at naked eye but will do they’re job on the soil and take on a microscopical way, i also am introducing some beneficial bugs to be more exact the stratiolaelaps scimitus they are machines killing trips, soil flies and a bunch of other plages we dont want around our girls and i also invited some Noseilus Californicus as a preventive for Any kind of non beneficial mites. With this i recipe i have faith my girl will be in control until the end of the run were i can clean it all up good !!! Appart from the bugs situation and that this girl is always starving dont ask me how but just in case i start adding NPK in liquid mineral way lol she is doing amazing to my eyes, i mean the bud formation its amazing , i can already see a canopy full of golf balls , she is not an easy one to grow but i believe she will compensate me with amazing fruits, lets see … <3 <3 <3 As always thank you all for stoping by, for checking my journey , for the love support and for it all, i am blessed and humble with you all. Here we go into flower. If what they say is true, we're in for a nice color show.

9/2 8 tablespoons of Foxfarm Big Bloom 15 MLS Foxfarm Tiger Bloom 1/2 teaspoon Foxfarm Open sesame per 2 gallons. 9/4 32 MLS of each PH Perfect micro, grow and bloom. Per 2 gallons. She needs to be fed more often. 9/7 Two tablespoons of liquid kelp. 1 teaspoon Foxfarm Open sesame. Fed 1 gallon. I have to give her water daily. If I don't the water will not soak into the entire fabric pot. 9/2 is the end of her first full week in flower. She seems to be doing well. Some lower leaves are turning yellow. Not sure if the yellowing is from the leaves not getting sun or not enough food. I pulled some off and fed Keep pulling off little growth spots here and there. Been leaving 3 bud sites per branch. Every once in a while I hit her up with some PH Perfect. Just to make sure everything is in check. I need to get a ph meter. The PH strips have been getting me by. I think I have been able to stay in the ballpark with them. The feedings need to pick up. So what I am going to do is feed every other day. That will be 3xs a week. Then 1 day off to dry out. 9/6 two days of solid rain. 9/7 Another cloudy day. She was covered for the rain, but her fabric pot soaked up a bit of rain. So on 9/7 I'm feeding Foxfarm Open Sesame 1 teaspoon in one gallon of water. The pot is soaked, but that will not last in the sun. She needs more food than I been giving. After the gallon, I will let her dry a bit. Then give another solid feeding with a good amount of run off. For a moment I was wondering, if I was going to need to support for her in flower. Most of her branches are being pulled down. There is steady tension on them. If I were to cut the ropes, the branches would wip up, like a catapult. Her branches are way to strong to need support. I thought this plant was big last month. Her canopy is so large, I could use her as a big umbrella.

Alright! This week is finally done and this will be the last vegetative growth week for the plants. Switching to flower tonight :D I have done some defoliation and a bit of lollipopping to the 3 plants, I was noticing the shadows where quite dark on the tent floor and the plants where not crazy tall so they needed to be managed, If I was outdoors I would just LST them some more and not worry about any of it but indoors the airflow is tight and it was needed, cleaning up the undercanopy was none negotiable or some bad things would have happened in flower. Mainly molds or worse WPM. I also removed the string supports I has on the plants when they broke from some LST I did a few weeks ago. In the stripping down of the plants I removed a lot of lower immature growths and took out some immature branches, I have all these sitting in a glass of water and will clone them out for shits and giggles, I think their is about 15 of them or more, maybe I will go and plant them aorund my neighbourhood in municipal planters. Plus now I can work in the topdressings that will be required in the upcoming weeks to keep these plants happy and healthy. Going to continue amending in some of the bokashi in the feedings as well as worm castings as they give off a nice ammount of microbes for the soil. I wish I had some of my LABs for this grow but I did not make any. The clones from before are doing fine, just did not take any pics of them. The butterwort is doing a fantastic job of eating up the gnats. I have some nematodes on hand for when its had its fill as I won't want them getting into the flowers as they ripening.
