Week 6 of flowering 10/23/24 Changed nutrients to fit week 6 Buds are getting even bigger and thicker. Defoliated a little. Noticed a PH of 4.8 in runoff, same as the late stage of flower in my previous grow. After lowering feed EC, CalMag on max strength, flushing with 0.8ec nutes for 3 days in a row, nothing changed and PH stayed the same. Read in a forum thread about constant low PH in the rootzone when growing in coco. Got great info about CEC, water, nutrients and little chemistry from a detailed explanation. (https://www.icmag.com/threads/recurring-problem-with-low-ph-in-coco.338385/page-2#post-10843765) Flushed plants with tap water + calmag, PH 6.5. Used 120L total for 4 plants in 2 days. 1st day: flushed after lights on, did not water until 2 hours before lights off and flushed again. Runoff PH went up a little, but not to the correct range. 2nd day: flushed after lights on and checked runoff EC + PH, of each plant. Fortunately, PH got corrected to 5.8, and I returned to automatic watering 4 times a day (with 10%-20% runoff). Thoughts: In the last grow, I thought I had a problem because of salts buildup in the media with constantly low PH in late flower. I didn't fully correct the problem till chop day. Same problem here in the same stage of flower without the salt buildup. After reading every forum I could find about the problem, I understood that my bloom nutes were the main problem because of their chemical composition. The coco ability to exchange ions lead to the low PH in the rootzone. It got worse quickly because I did not use any tap water with the feedings, so the PH could swing easily and drastically without resistance. After I looked online for the T.A. feeding chart, I saw they used TriPart Grow till week 7 of flower, the Nitrogen type they are using will up the PH. CocoForCannabis chart that I'm using, has not enough nitrogen to combat the bloom nutes PH down effect in flower. It gets even worse with RO water because there are no minerals that can resist PH down. Now I'm using 30% tap water with rest RO water, T.A. TriPart feeding chart with calmag and silica. Hopefully I have corrected the problem for the rest of the grow. It wasn't easy, because there were lots of variables that worsened the problem quickly. Now I'm checking runoff PH and EC daily. Update on next week :)

Water is still aerated 18-24 hours ahead of time and still PH'd Between 6.5- 6.7 is the highest ive seen so far. The Light Cycle for Both Tents Currently is Still 20/4. I do believe Once i decide to Flip the Tropicana to 12/12 i will need to move the mimosa out to Tent 1. Given The 1 - 1.5 week difference in all 4 i dont see the move being a issue. After 48 hrs darkness I've finally trimmed buds to prep for hanging. Plant 1 .82kg wet weight Plant 2 .88kg wet weight Plant 3 .77kg wet weight Total wet weight incl stems 2.47kg or 2470g Equate to 5.438 lbs wet weight. I can't wait to see dry weight. I'll be happy with half loss in water.

Decided to cut these now as trichs are all looking nice and milky with few ambers, buds are looking really nice, nice few tint of darker colours in there too really happy with result, hanging to dry now and will update the final week once all dry, been a great plant overall no issues and finished with some really nice looking weed hopefully smokes as nice as it looks

8/10 - In prep for flower I've got some Compost Tea brewing with a little Terp Tea Bloom by Roots Organics. .Also did a little selective defoliation 8/11 - Flipped the ladies to flower today! And all is good in the 8x4. 8/12 - Watered all the ladies with the Compost/Terp Tea. Also did some more defoliation and added some mosquito bits for added pest prevention.

She grew 10cm this week! Next week I'm going to change the HID bulb I use in the tent. Currently it's quite a red spectrum. I'm going to swap it to a more blue/daylight 1000w item.

This week i had to lollipop and defoliate them. Really bushy stuff devolped :) No visible plan issues till know but i have some temperature problems (sometimes above 30 °C). Hopefully this will not affect the plans.

Good morning, time for the weekly update! Today is day 34 of flower and I’m starting to miss the training, topping, and busy days of veg growth! Just peek in on them once a day and water anymore, getting boring! Last week they got one watering with silica and one with fish shit, week 6 of flower is starting so after this week I’ll probably just be giving them plain ph water. I hope the flowers have stacked well and start to put on some weight now, maybe you guys can give me some feed back on how the buds are looking at this stage! Thanks for reading see ya next week :)

Ich habe mich dafür entschieden, damit ich a) eine Chance habe die Wurzeln mit Mykorhizza zu impfen und b) damit die Erde so lange wie möglich locker bleibt. Ich nutze Mycotrex von BioTabs. Welche Erfahrungen habt ihr mit Mykorhizza gemacht? Gibt es eine bessere Methode als die Sporen in Form von Pulver beim Umtopfen hinzuzugeben? 4/10 Fed half strength nutes with epsom salt but no molasses. 4/11 Something I've noticed, feeding really makes the buds grow dense by the next day. It's hard to notice the plants slowly growing at this stage day by day, but feeding definitely changes that for a day. 4/15 More half strength nutrients! This time with epsom salt and a half tablespoon of molasses per gallon.
