***** Week 6 Veg - January 9/21 to 15/21 ***** This week the girls saw lots of change! They have seen a light change and now they have been transplanted and topped. Push the girls harder and see how they react😃 They have been in very good shape and healthy so they have been reacting well to the stress. These two girls have been strong growers from the start and its not stopping yet. The side branching is doing well and pulling up nicely👍 Topped all of the ETS girls and left them with 4 sets of branches on each. If the lowest set of branches were tiny, I have stripped them off already. Not sure if I am going to SCROG or not.....I don’t really want to but it is the best way to fill the canopy and test out the light spread......will see. These girls seem to be growing strong and may need to be tied down or stretch could be a bitch😂 They have continued to be fed once a week roughly and supplemented with calmag and microbes. Little more detail....... Jan 9/21, Day 36 Veg - Transplant day today!!!!!! Both girls into 5 gal pots. - Root mass was much better than in the solo cups......not as strong as Gorilla Girl for comparison but just about perfect and didn’t need to prune them. - 1.5L watering of the pots after transplant with CalMag @ 2ml, Microbial Mass @ 3ml, Piranha @ 2ml (effectively microbes, fungi and CalMag watering) Jan 10/21, Day 37 Veg - 1.5L Feed with full strength week 2 nutrients - added CalMag @ 1ml as well. New coco in the pots that have not been buffered so added a little more. - 1,300ppm and 5.9pH.......feeling it might be a little high.....target was 1150ppm. - no run off water from the pots. Didn’t want to “soak” the pots, jet wet them. - New light in the tent today. 650watt but dialled down so the girls have roughly 10,500 LUX. - Topped the girls today as well😃 - left 4 sets of branches on each girl. Topped them up high on the node above to help avoid splitting the main stem. Jan 11/21, Day 38 Veg - Dry out day - girls reacting well to the high ppm feed from yesterday. Jan 12/21, Day 39 Veg - 1.5L watering with CalMag @ 1ml - 200ppm and 5.9pH Jan 13/21, Day 40 Veg - Dry out day Jan 14/21, Day 41 Veg - 2L watering with CalMag @ 2ml - 250ppm and 5.9pH (actually added 1ml of Micro as pH was a little high) - IPM spray tonight with Lost Coast Plant Therapy @ 3ml/L. Done at lights out. - This product been working well and nothing has been a set back so not going to stop now😃👍 Jan 15/21, Day 42 Veg - Dry out day. - Girls doing well. Still have some strong purple in the fan leaves coming off the main stem. - Not too worried about it.....keeping an eye ono the main stem.

This week the plant is more uniform, vid is from February 24th, I still don't know how to tell how many weeks it got left, I don't even know how many weeks it has of actual flowering since it's been 2 months since it showed the first signs of flowerinf

We are starting to grow a new autoflowering strain from 42Fast Buds under the number FBA2502. We don't know much about the strain yet, but we do know that its maturation period is around 70 to 80 days. For germination, we used a reliable method: paper towel and cotton sponge. In just 24 hours, the seed sprouted with a root about 1 cm long. The next step will be planting it in soil composed of: 50% black soil (chernozem), 35% coconut substrate and coconut fiber, 10% perlite, 5% expanded clay. We will continue to monitor its growth and share the results.

Purple Lemonade , Gelato 1&2, LAK 2&3 are all just about done theyll be coming down over the weekend or early next week. T26, Pineapple Express, Mexican Airlines, LAK 1, 6 Shooter Blue Dreamatic and Cream Cookies are all on the flush but will need a few more before chop. This tent reeks up the whole block it's pretty intense skunk in the driveway right now. There will be one more update I'm guessing for most of these before the harvest update. This was the most successful autoflower crop I've had in a long time I think theres some really good quality buds on some of these. I'll put the video up now and as I go thru the pics theyll be uploaded so if your interested come back tmm for the pics.

Sweet Seeds genetics are crazy. Like... fuckin' amazing. I had a 3.5inch root starting on my Red Poison. This grow is going to be great! Advanced has a tendency to give VERY high EC levels if you follow their guideline. I use what they recommend and then I tone it down to the EC levels I want. Just a heads up if you are using Advanced and not checking - you are WASTING nutes.

The roots are all tapped in and taking up nutrients. I’m on the fence as to the prospect of using grow slabs under my rockwool cubes in the future as it seems to slow the growth in the early stages on autos when time is critical. I’m sure they have a better base to grow on but when the roots tap through the bottom of the medium and move about the totes is when the magic happens. Not much I can do about it now and it would be more than fine in my photo room to make healthy beast mode plants. They are on a full 1200 ppm of nutrients and the one mutant In the back I have no doubt will end up happy and beautiful in the end. She just had a hard time getting rid of her shell.

Had to remove tables from the tent and lift trellis. allowed plants to stand up. defol and lollipopping throughout the week. the reports are all messed up and i have been sort of busy so im just going to photo dump and ill leave it to the viewer to work out whats what from what days. I think stretch is over now but its been a constant battle to keep them away from the lights. this is weeks 3 and a bit of 4.

Day 47 12/12 3 plants in 2x2 no more nutes will be fed from now just ph balanced water for the next 2 to 3 weeks until harvest, looking forward to trying this stuff smells so good and looking very frosty with nice colours starting to show I’m dropping my night temps down to 15 degrees Celsius to hopefully bring out some more nice colour, can anyone guess the final weight 🍁

From the early stages of vegetative vigor, through the lush canopy of mid-flower, and even through the challenges of heat and bud rot, these girls showed true resilience. Each setback taught something — about balance, airflow, humility, and the living rhythm of nature. Both plants were ultimately harvested with respect and gratitude. ⸻ ✂️ Harvest & Trimming After about two weeks of slow drying at 60°F / 60% RH, the branches began to snap — a sure sign the moisture was just right. Each plant was trimmed by hand, carefully and patiently, letting every calyx, pistil, and trichome tell its own story. The buds were dense, sticky, and heavily frosted — a trimmer’s delight. Finger hash collected along the way was pure gold, rich in aroma and bursting with terpenes. Each snip of the scissors felt like sculpting something sacred. Both plants were dried whole, allowing for slower moisture migration and a smoother final cure. ⸻ 🌿 On Trichomes and Harvest Timing We chose to harvest when most trichomes were cloudy, with only a few still clear and very few amber. This moment — just before full amber maturity — is where potency meets flavor at its peak. Why cloudy trichomes? Because that’s when cannabinoids like THC and terpenes are at their maximum activity. Too early, and you lose potency; too late, and THC starts converting into CBN, giving a heavier, sleepier effect. Cloudy trichomes deliver a balanced high — euphoric yet grounding — capturing the essence of the strain in its full potential. ⸻ 🌸 Aroma, Taste & Effects The Lava Cake lives up to her name and lineage. Her rich terpene profile brings waves of sweet baked goods, layered with berry and grape undertones inherited from her Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies x Grape Pie heritage.
