Day 17 Watered .5 gal, mostly outside of the leaves. Looking really good and symmetrical. Day 20 Emergency transplant from biosolids medium to organic soil. Dat shit is nasty. People’s pharmaceuticals in it, their steroids and anti-epileptic meds? No thank you. I’d rather have no weed than weed grown in a toxic medium. It’s up for debate whether those chemicals make it from the treated sludge to the plant itself, but without anything other than anecdotal info, I’m not into it. Also, during the transplant, with the organic soil right there, it was disgusting to really get a full realization of the chemical treatment smell sick🤢

overall i've learned a lot fro mthis grow. Had fungus gnats, a little mold on #2 (discovered during harvest) and also experienced what its like to grow in pure peatmoss. amended to little at times, amended too much at other times. three completely different grows. Plant #1 was by far the best one. Most resin production and overall most stable in terms of nutrient uptake and deficiencies. overall i will probably not grow a lot of sativa's inside this fridge anymore. its just not good to have them all foxtail and stress out over small things. Time for more indica's! 😇

Segundo intente hacer supercroping ya que las ramas seguian superando el tejido y les llegaba luz en la noche. Y me salio desastrozo, mi primera vez. Pero los otros punteros que superaban la altura, los hizo mi compañero que sabia hacerlo (No tengo foto, luego actualizo). Y Tercero que debido a la humedad se ven en las fotos como aparecio hongos, por lo que pude observar era solo ese poco, lo cual ya fue removido vamos a ver como continuamos.

She's really ramping up the trichomes making her flowers look like their sugar coated! 🤩 I watered her today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water with 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses added which was then ph'd to 6.4 @ 72℉. The molasses will give the microbial colony some additional food as well as supplying micro-nutrients to the plant. I finished out the daily maintenance giving her a check over and turning her pot 1/4 turn to ensure she gets light to every inch of her. 10/1- Yesterday was a 'no water' day as her pot was still fairly heavy to lift. Today she was watered with her usual of 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉. Repotted veg area. Most are still babies. Will receive final transplants before going into flower in a couple more weeks. The clone I took from the sativa-dom is doing well, as is the og lemon x cupcake. Will veg these two for the longest, and will eventually end up in 5-7 gal pots. Also plan to take some cuttings from these two. Two girls in flower are approx 21 days apart. I call them the supercroppeds because that’s what they are. Sc1 is on day 49 of flower a/o aug28 and sc2 is on day 28. Both seem happy and healthy. Believe there may be an abundance of nitrogen in sc1 as some leaf tips are burnt and folding back. Two plants about a month in veg have been put into flower as well. A sort of 12/12 from seed kinda thing. I have been experimenting with the basics thus far. A sea of green will be underway in a couple more weeks, once these babies grow to toddlers. Been outdoors mostly, no nutrients. Plain Jane from Mother Earth. Comes out great each year. All unknown strain bagseed. A tad different growing in a 2x2 room.

Wow wow wow !!! Insane aromas from both. Huge buds are stacking up nicely- a real pleasure to watch them both grow. The Cali is a lot taller than the grapefruit but for what the grapefruit lacks in size she makes up for in buds. It means I have to elevate her up to the same level or there abouts.

Day 50 - Nearly at her end, some pretty buds have formed showing pink/red colours. Trichomes were checked and they are showing pretty much all milky white at the moment, I saw a few Amber but I'd like to see atleast 30% Amber before they get harvested. The buds are rock hard and full of unique smells which I hope translates to the flavour profile. I will be flushing these girls for the remainder of the grow which shouldn't be too long now. Keep a close eye as I will be uploading some more pictures and videos. Hoping to do a photo shoot once all is ready. Day 17F-24F (Day 19) Man it’s such a shame that bbb#1 stunted out. It was so damn vigorous until it’s most recent feeding. I will make sure to cut back on teas next round as they can be a wild card sometimes. All 5 plants are packing on some serious early frost. But I’m not seeing too much chunk to the buds yet. My other grow that was flipped on the same day has almost no frost yet so that’s a good sign. (Day 21) Big strip today. I will pull off as many leaves as I need to ensure nearly all bud sites are exposed to adequate light. I’m still seeing excess N so I’m going to water in 2 gallons each until I get some runoff. The plants seem to be up taking water pretty decently so I’m going to push it a little with a heavier watering. Wow do the plants look amazing after that strip and flush! Everything is praying up beautifully, including #3 in the back. Let’s hope that gets it back on track now. (Day 22) I want to give a PK boost but all my bloom nutrients have way too much N and I don’t really want to risk it toxing anymore. I could give it a little bit of 0-18-0 bat guano and some 0-0-15 kelp extract but it could be completely unnecessary. I can’t see any signs of deficiencies but a small surplus couldn’t hurt either. (Day 23) I like how the ladies responded to the thorough watering. I will up my watering to 1 gallon every 48 hours from now on. It sucks to see how short bbb#1 is. I was expecting such a huge stretch but it never came because of that fucking tea! I should have leached the medium as soon as I saw stunting. It’s too bad because it definitely had the most potential for yield. (Day 24) I’m starting to think the main problem with bud size this round is all the topping I did early on. Not to mention they were vegging for nearly 3 months. I will try to pick off most of the larf before it wastes anymore energy. I think the ideal style of growing for bud size and veg time is a semi sea of green, or 6-8 plants per 25 square feet. I’m not a big fan of these giant plants as it’s a lot of wasted veg time and smaller bud size overall. The smell is really ramping up!

Total days above ground: 63 Total flower nights: 24 Just beyond 3 weeks into flower and the plants are showing their potential. Even the 2 smaller Kush Mints have really come on strong in flower. Can barely tell they were under-sized at this point. Still have a little more compact structure, but spreading it out with some garden wire really allowed it to power its growth. Yield should be in line with the others. The KM3 had a strong minty smell last week, but that's mellowed out a bit since. All of the MSNL plants are robust and strong. Second grow with excellent results from this breeder. I did not pay for these seeds, but I am not a shill, either. If one of them grew all whacky like the mountaintop mint, I'd voice the same complaints. The clearly care about such traits in their selection process. Overall the canopy has filled in nicely. I have a couple spots where light is wasted and I'll make some adjustments to the process to fix that for future grows. Now that I've settled on plant size and number of plants, improvements can be made each cycle until it's clockwork. I like the 12-cola vs 8 cola experiement. I've got a fairly long list of edits to make to various sections of my "bible," which means I liked the outcomes of most of my incremental adjustments. Continual, systematic improvement in action... One other incremental change on the docket but not yet realized will be dropping nutrient concnetration once vegetative growth ends. Exact timing will be based on what I see in the foliage. I see some minor tip curl and its a bit darker than I want. So, it may come sooner than later. This'll be something I tweak over the next few grow cycles until I'm happy with the late-flower health. I'll drop fertilizer concentration 10-15% on next refill and see how that plays out. It'll take a couple refills of reservoir to near 100% transition without draining it. If necessary, I'll drain and do a full refill for more pressing needs. A rez scrub before final stretch is coming, regardless. Side note: The impacts of VPD can be enormous. Last year (2025-2 diary) I had a humidifier wick get fouled and RH dropped while VPD spiked for more than a few days, thinking I could power through or that the canopy would soon provide more moisture. Nope, growth stalled in a significant way. By comparing day 34-42-49 of 2025-2 and day 38-42-49 of this diary, I can see a huge difference in growth at same point above ground. The consitency with which i do things makes it fairly certain it's the extende period with extremely high VPDs that caused the difference. Also, interesting that it mostly catches back up by completion of third week of flower. The size difference is nearly undone by this point, though 2025-2 took 4 days longer vege phase to get there. Even so, I still think this grow is more than 4 days ahead of 2025-2 (the difference in vegetative phae duration). Time will tell if the development is ahead of the pace in 2025-2 or whether it's simply mostly an offset due to a less efficient vege phase for 2025-2.
