Ok so I originally was just going to run Kmintz in the tent by itself. I dropped 4 seeds in the shot glass and 7 days later only 2 had popped and the other 2 showed no sign of activity. So in the trash they went. Now I wasn't at home with all my seeds doing this I was visiting my dad and helping him get his seeds going at the same time. Luckily when I left my house to go to my dad's the mail man showed up as I was locking up with a package from my man Travis Spivey and his seed company Tarantula Genetics to try out. By shear dumb luck I put them in my truck with me and brought them to my dad's amd when 2 of the kmintz failed I dropped one of each in there own shot glasses and 18 hours later it had already started to sprout. There a week behind the rest but they caught up super quick, great quality looking beans so far, highly recommend Tarantula Genetics.

So because I'm trying to get as much growth as fast as I can ive got them in the 4x4 tent because its hooked up to Co2. I'm hoping that by the end of this week they well ready for there own tent and some training because they got 2 weeks before they get flipped to flower so we well see lol

Hot ass week, but lucky nothing really damaged them and there all still running strong. The tarantula Genetics plants are doing nicely seeing as there a week younger then the ripper seeds plants. I'm really looking forward to trying out that Kmintz plants tho, the pics I've seen of then when there done look delicious.

Man I have to say, I am very impressed with how fast the Tarantula Genetics plants have grow so far. At least a week behind the Kmintz plants and there almost bigger then them. Leveled out pots with cley pebbles so that there isn't a 2"-3" gap between the soil and the top of the pot. Also added a second oscillating micro tower fan to thw tent. I have a bigger one but it takes up a lot of room, so depending on the how big the plants get well determine if it goes in or not. Did some adjustments to the grow room to get the temperature correct and have to rethink what I'm going to use for lights in this tent. I've got a lot of lights and I'm debating if I want to run my spider farmer sf2000, my philzon 2000w cree cob light, or my philzon pl-1000 and my 1000w cree cob togther. I think if I end up using my sf2000 in my 4x4 with the sf4000 and the temperature doesn't get to crazy then I'll run philzon lights.

First week of flower done. Huge increase in plant size. The platinum OG is by far the tallest at 16" and then the Apple Punch and Kmintz plants are all at 13". Kmintz #2 is showing a bit of stress from the fan being in front of it on high. Turned the fan down to low and moved it back a bit. So far them tent temperature hasn't been to much of a issue. The temp stays between 24.5c and 26.5c and the plants appear to be liking the heat so far. Not much else going on with this tent.

The last week the plants have shown some nice growth and are also looking very health rite now. All the plants got a nice good leaf strip and a bit of lolipoping today. The Tarantula Genetics Platinum OG Punch Breath is a beautiful plant. Sitting at a whopping 27.5", the kmintz #2 plant isn't far behind at 24" then Apple Punch is 22" and the kmintz #1 is 21". All 4 look really good. Going to be adding a 6" clip fan tomorrow to add a bit more air circulation to the tent. Lights not getting the tent to hot as long as I keep a small amount of the door open to help bring it cold air.
Might have to start giving them more then 3 cups of water a day, think of addinga cup or maybe even 2 to the next feeding to see how the plants react.

2 days into this week I started to notice that the temperature outside was getting warmer at night. So I decided to do a all nighter and see how many plants did thorough the night. First thing I found out was that I'm to old for that shit lol damn was it hard. Anyways a few hours into the night I noticed the tent was getting hot. 27.8c was were it was staying at. So I turned the cob lights off for a bit and let the temp come down. Also noticed some shit was going on with my brain cake tent so I decided to take the SF-2000 Spider-Farmer out of it and swap out the COB light for it. After that the temp stayed around 25.6c for the rest of the night.
After doing the leaf strip everything grew back within a few days (as you can see). One of my Kmintz plants wasn't consuming the water in its pot as fast as the others so I let it dry out a bit (48 hours) before I gave it another feeding. The Tarantula Genetics Platinum OG Punch Breath is a impressive plant so far. Excited to see what she looks like in the end.

Holy are the buds really starting to puff up in this tent. From what I'm seeing so far there is going to be some really nice fat coles in this tent when it's done. As long as I don't fuck it up lol. Couldn't be happier with how this tent is going and just shows that sometimes less is more.

Damn has the buds started to fatten up. The Kmintz plants are really starting to get some beautiful bud production going on. Thw Tarantula Genetics Platinum OG Punch Breath is starting to get some gorgeous color in the buds and lots of frosting on the buds. End of week 5 and the plants are starting to look top notch.

Fucking heat the last 2 days has been high as fuck!!! Day temp has been close to the 30s and lights on has been in the high 20s low 30s. Luckily this is the last day of it and the weather goes back to normal tomorrow. The plants in this tent have been looking amazing and I would hate for ot to go to shit now.
The kmintz plants look great and have a very nice profile going on. There sizes haven't changed and the buds have grown a bit. The biggest change is the trenchomes profile on both plants. The stickiness and smell has also increased a lot in the last week. I haven't scoped then yet but I well be very soon.
The Tarantula Genetics plants look Breath taking. Especially the Platinum OG Punch Breath. It's size and color are gorgeous, and the trenchomes profile is the nicest in the tent. The Apple Punch is a very close second with its trenchomes profile and look. It's smell tho is amazing, has a nice spicy smell to it.

Oh man look at the color coming in!!! And it's not just on 1 plant but 3 of them so far. The platinum OG has the most and the 2 kmintz both have a few leaves that are starting to turn purple but not as much as the platinum. So far I have been really happy with this grow. The color and size of the buds is majestic and the smell is so good it'll make you want to drop your panties. If the smoke ends up being half as good as it looks this I going to be a great harvest.
Kmintz is the 5th strain from Ripper Seeds that I have ran so far (Chempie, Ripper BadAzz, Old School, and Brain Cake are the others) and as far as growing goes this is one of my favorites from them. Chempie up to this point has been my favorite on all 5 categories (look, size, smell, tast and high) from ripper to grow and smoke and is in my top 3 for favorite strains I've grown so far (Blueberry, Chempie, BC Rockstar Kush. In that order). After this grow tho I feel like that's all going to change. Kmintz is already looking better then the Chempie did and if it smokes and tastes better well then it'll be my favorite Ripper seeds strain.
Now when it comes to my top 3 strains to grow that is definitely going to change. Now the Apple Punch is a really beautiful plant and I love how it's looking. Tarantula Genetics actually used my pictures for the advertising on the page because the pictures they got from there testers didn't turn out as good as mine. Even with that I still think this Platinum OG Punch Breath by then is by far the most beautiful plant I have grown to date. Buds are nice and fat, the color is astonishing, and the smell so far is Breath taking. At this rate it'll take the number 1 spot of favorite plant to grow as long as the taste and high are as good as the rest.
Today also marked the first day of flush. Starting to good a good amount of amber trenchomes on 3 of the plants, id say probably about 80/20 milky/amber on the lower sections of the plant. 1 of the kmintz plants tho is a little behind and is 70/30 milky/clear on the lower section of plants. I like to have closer to 50/50 milky/amber by the time I'm done but no more then that. So if it doesn't catch up then it'll be a little less potent then the rest.

Had some issues this week with humidity. We had a lot of rain for 24 hours and the humidity outside went up to 80%. With that my tent went up to 70% humidity for about 14 hours and then dropped down to 65% and stayed there for almost 2 days. Doesn't look like it caused any issues but we well see.
Now its looking like it's super close to crop time. Going to give it another 24 hours and take it from there. Just need to figure out what one we'll be coming down first, this one or my 4x4.

All chopped down!!! So everything got chopped down a few days ago. I ended up hanging 3 of them in the 3x3 and then put one of the kmintz plants in my 4x4 tent with the 3 plants I had in it because it had more space. Did a leave strip the other day to help with drying in high humidity.
Next I'll trim off everything and put it all into my drying rack for the last day or 2 before I start to cure. The kmintz plants were nice but the apple punch and the platinum OG Punch Breath had fat buds, and were extremely sticky and smelled dank as fuck. Itll be awhile before I do the complete harvest on this tent because I'll be curing for awhile.

Harvest was simple and done the same way as all my other plants. The heat sped up the drying process a lot and my product most likely suffered from that. Was probably the best product I've grown by Ripper seeds so far.
This plant was absolutely stank and was one of my favorite to grow. The plant really started to stink and get sticky the last few weeks of growing and am very happy with the final results.
Hands down my new favorite strain to grow. Everything from start to finish really impressed me with this grow. The leaves turning purple, the buds getting massive, the trenchomes profile, the smell, the taste and the high are all top shelf qualities that I got from this strain and well most definitely looking to grow again in the future.
