Done some LST last week to open up the plant. The SCROG net was setup a few days after that. This strain is showing a lot of branching, it might work really well with the SCROG method.

09/26/2021 Starting week #7 of flower still picking caterpillar, and eggs of leaves, not to serious as we are on top of it. Starting the week with banana peel tea drench 2 gallons per girl, which is all she will get besides water till harvest. Still small flushes of pistils coming out I believe she (Hulk) is in final stage of flower (4) lots of orange hairs (pistils) but fresh one coming out daily albeit slower. Hopefully she fatting up in coming weeks. 09/28/2021 Week7 Day #3 Definitely seeing more calyx swelling. #1 is chunking up nicely #2 looks good little bud rot were caused from cattipillar poop! #3 coming from behind Will be last to harvest for sure.

Medium: Look, I love coco/soil, organic/synthetic just as much as anyone. I’ve never really hated on any particular method and each has its uses depending upon the environment. That being said.... hydro is likely to be the predominant indoor method for us going forward. It ticks all the boxes that the average hobby grower is looking for. Maintenance is generally pretty easy, while I’ve found myself monitoring ph and tds more frequently, I’m still only mixing nutes once a week instead of three. The hassle factor is crazy mitigated here👍. From a sustainability perspective, nute consumption is wayyyy down, saving more dolla bills y’all! Added bonus is that veg. Growth rates are just insanely fast. From the moment she popped her head out to the start of week 4, this girl was fimmed, pruned, trained and flipped. She put out a full oz. more than the 6 week(v) mainline beside er😳. Now that is just straight amazing😎. The key advantages - BIG F$&K’N YIELDS and auto pilot care for up to 2 weeks. It is a little bit of a tricky medium but once you dial in the ratios - smooth sail’n the whole grow. I can focus on training/maintenance instead of feeding🤟🤟. If there’s a drawback to DWC it would be that I’d have concerns about leaving it for more than a couple days when she’s in full flower. They just drink so much that It’s a constant top off. All told, far and away the most effective and economical medium we’ve used😎. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️ Under this COB light system, the best method to date has definitely been a mainline. It’s got so much canopy penetration that we’re pulling down 16” long colas packed with well developed buds. Here’s where strain, medium and method kinda collide though. This girl was on a hurry up and go schedule. We lost the first one to root rot and had to get this one off the ground and mature before the cycle sched. Was gonna flip. Not to mention it was totally screwing with our spring nursery timing too. She was fimmed once and then splayed with LST. Not much either - just enough to get er spread apart a little. So you combine ultra fast growth rates of hydro with a big yield strain like this on a fast paced training method that limits required recovery times... and you get this monster. Just a perfect grow that anyone would be extremely happy with. We used frozen water bottles In the res. twice a day throughout the grow. My issues with light leaks and temps are well documented and I’m constantly running up against one or the other as a hurdle. This plant was no different and she started to re-veg. In the last few days prior to chop. All due to a light leak from the cabinet beside this one that was running on an 18/6. Gonna have to plug some light holes prior to next grow. Other than that - she was amazing and the method here is getting an unusually high and very rare 5/5.😳 Yield/Harvest🌴🌴🌴🌴 The final number is just so sweet. 6.04oz and she veg’d less than a month. Overall, I could confidently say that’s both faster and better than most typical autos in general😳😎👍👌. Any time your rock’n out 5+oz is a good haul but in this kinda time frame - that’s just crazy. We let her go just a little longer (again, as per Spliff’s direction) and it was worth the extra patience. She’s dense as all hell and a nice add to the stash🤟. The purple punch cookies is looking happy. Will be switching them to flower in a week or less. I gave them a flush and fresh nutrients. The humic acid really makes a huge difference in the uptake of nutrients. I am at about half dose on nutrients compared to what I would have to feed without it. Winter is approaching and bringing the low humidity with it. All of the humidifiers I have tried either dont work or I have to constantly refill the tank. So I decided to use my redneck engineering skills to throw this humidifier together. It holds 4 gallons of water and she pumps like a freight train. I have dubbed her the Steam Queen. I got 2 cool mist foggers that put out about 400ml per hour each and used some things I had around to make them a little float. Added an old computer fan to force the mist out through a 2 inch pipe. She won't win any beauty contests but she pumps out plenty of cool moist air. I also upgraded my exhaust to a variable speed for more added environmental control. Just going to do a little more training over the next week then try to make some buds.

This will be the 7th week in flower . Fitting to go into 8th week in flower. I learned that I was heavy feeding and the mite I figured a way to get rid of em completely. I was using Plant Therapy which is oil and has peppermint smell to it. I just use that for spray bottle and back using hydro peroxide to kill the insects far as mite or clean up anything that may harm the roots inside the soils. I want to see these girl strive to the end. Definitely running London Pound Cake again after the Birthday Runtz . MSLN will try their LPC next up in 2024.

Week 5 - Trimming And Low Stress Training - the Gorilla Glues are looking nice and healthy. I trimmed and LST 1 of the Gorilla Glue’s and just trimmed the other one for experimental purposes.
