Plants still growing

Had a great time documenting this grow, despite all the drama going on in my personal life. This is my last diary for a few months while we find a new home, but got all my seeds ready to go as soon as we're settled in. :) Thanks to everyone for all the comments and support. Herrrrro gang! Welcome to another week of Daank's grow! 8/2: Brought back the Great White. I was reading that it works well in conjunction with other root excelurators, like Rapid Start. I got 2 more temp/humidity sensors for the tent. It allows me to keep track of 100% of what is really going on, I find it to take away worry (b/c temps are very important!). Today was a "eureka!" moment in terms of understanding run-off pH and it's value to telling the grower how healthy the plant is and what nutes may, or may not, be needed. I also got some new LED glasses so I don't burn my fucking corneas when tending to the garden - they are phenomenal and I suggest them if you grow with an LED. Check the videos and photos. Pistils are growing rapidly and baby budlets are starting to form. I'm actually getting a nice subtle purple color - it's very neat. Today's run-off pH was 6.3, and I gave it 6.3 for water - so that's a good sign (I bounce the pH all around from 5.5-6.3). I'll keep track of this moving forward in the diary. Minor defoliation. ***Pro-Tip: If you're wondering what the run-off should be... around +.5/-.5 of what you put in is good. By the end of this week I assume we'll be in full swing. Day 39: I have ordered new nutes, Advanced Nutrients. The reviews, photos, and research all point to using this for the best results. I found them to be a bit expensive, but if I can always get perfect pH values without much of a hassle... I'm down. They will be here by end of the week and I'll transition that over this weekend. I can't wait. Day 40: 8/6 - Advanced Nutrient nutes arrive today. Watering will be a pleasure. The plants look great. The buds are real. Small smell. Trimmed last night quite a bit for bud production. They love George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue". It perks 'em up.

8/10 just about harvest time. Just a few more days to let soil dry out

Day 68 and 51 - 10/29/22 - PH has been creeping up after a few days in the reservoir. Looks like it has caused some nute lockout. The sohum should have everything needed.

Week 6 here and I'm having problems with stems leaning already. I went back to my normal feeding levels. I'll probably start removing the macro in a couple of weeks. I'm also thinking about doing another small defoliation to help with airflow. This tent is jammed packed and I regret not flipping a week sooner than I did. Thanks for checking out my diary.

February 20, 2019 update: Pretty much just waiting for these girls to be ready for harvest. Everything is moving along nicely at this point. Planning on feeding until the end of February, then starting a 2 week flush - at least with the Cherry and DinaMed, I may let the Critical+ and Cookies & Cream go a little longer. Fed MegaCrop, Cal+Mag Pro and Mammoth P this week. I've used up the last of my Mammoth P at this point. It will be MegaCro & Cal+Mag Pro only until flush. All pics were taken with the lights on. I tried color correcting the best I could, but the pics really don't represent the actual colors very well. Usually I try to get some pics with the lights off also, but I was not able to do that last week. I'll make sure to get some better pics next time. 👍

When you show love to a plant, she will do the same to you. That’s what’s happening! This gorgeous Euphoria is a gift from nature (and RQS 😄). Not much to say about the ferts, which are doing their job. Flowers are getting bigger, so yeah, cool!

It’s day 33’from seed. All of the plants are really healthy. The plants have a really great root system at this point… I am currently slowly moving the light intensity up to the veg area. Now that are in a groove they are about to explode… I’m hoping I can flip the plants to flower in 1 weeks but I’m thinking I will wait to weeks and let them get a little larger. The plants are just now starting to look visually different next weeks update I will be ababoe to go into the visual differences, they are just not that extreme yet to really talk to much about.

Day 28. First signs of preflower. Day 31. Continuing with general Hydroponics maxigro every other watering.

-Was excited to see roots shoot out basket during the beginning of the week. Then some major root growth throughout the week. -Noticed some brownish coloring on roots, thought root rot or nutrient sludge? Found out, through advanced nutrients, organic nutrients will leave a brown tinge. -pH finally where it should be. Still using GH pH testing kit to measure so no exact number. Based on their chart, yellow 6.0 -Leaves look a lighter green then I'm thinking it should be. Will add a little more nutrients during next water change in couple days. -Humidity still low! Running a temporary humidifier I already had outside closet door. Brought up humidity by 15%, but still only measuring 35% at it's highest. -Started playing music for plant about 30min/day, also talk to it a few times a day. Anyone else do this? -Disappointed in sludge build up, and mild/strong fish smell during first half of the week after water change as AN claims otherwise for this nutrient. Growth looks great besides that. -Lots of growth this 2nd week, very exciting to see, both above and below deck.

Started their 48 hour of darkness today, am going to chop Wed. I think they did a great job finishing up over the last week, super excited to see how they turned out. Keeping this week's update short and sweet, the next update will be much more detailed. Will post the final update after I finish drying and trimming.

📅 Week 9 (Days 56–62) 🌸 Mid-Flower | Bud Development | Nutrient Monitoring This week saw a clear ramp-up in flower density. The buds have begun to take on noticeable weight, with trichome coverage increasing steadily — not just on the sugar leaves, but now crawling onto small calyx fans. There’s a tangible stickiness to the upper canopy, and the diesel/cardamom/citrus terp profile has deepened. Aroma is more persistent after lights-on, lingering even after ventilation. Leaf health has required a watchful eye. The lower fans have continued to yellow and were removed incrementally. Nothing alarming yet - mostly older leaves giving up their stores. But toward the end of the week, I spotted some yellowing beginning to creep into mid-canopy areas. No burn, no twist - just fading. I’ve continued feeding - full strength Advanced Nutrients this week, including one adjusted dose focusing only on Grow (3.5 mL in 2L) to boost nitrogen in response to the yellowing. Watered with 2L at pH 6.4. No runoff, but weight and hydration have been monitored closely. Still a slight risk of earlier shallow root development limiting uptake, but the plant is holding its posture. One environmental slip-up: I noticed the leaf edges starting to taco slightly mid-week. Tracked it down to the humidifier being off. Once re-enabled, RH returned to 50–55%, and the issue self-corrected. No further signs of VPD stress. Trichomes: Still mostly clear with very few cloudy. No amber in sight. Maturity is progressing slowly - right on pace for a post-vacation harvest. Action points: – Continue feeding through Week 10 – Monitor yellowing mid-canopy - may respond with another Grow-only supplement if it progresses – Keep RH stable with the new humidifier – Macro checks every few days to watch for trichome shift 🗓️ Overall: A stable week with increasing density and trichome output. Aroma building. No rush yet — plant is following a long, even curve into maturity. Feeding schedule holds, with my daughter planned to feed once or twice while I’m away, then transition to water only.
