04/04/2021 Grow going well!

I was selected to test some of Fastbuds new genetics. Seeds germinated in 48hrs and 5 days later it broke ground and hasent slowed down. This grow is in my 4x4ft grow space located in an uninsulated shed. Each plant has a dedicated 150-200w LED from Viparspectra or Mars. Winter Temps in my area spike to -15C or more in Jan and Feb, so this will be an interesting and challenging grow. The grow room is 20-30C above ambient temperature, so there is a little manual and auto manipulation of grow Temps. This is my first grow ever I forgot to add more photos of other plants on next update I will have all photos!! I am doing everything organic, I am using compost soil from my cattle and other top soil I have been composting for awhile now. I am also using earth worm castings… I also have earthworms in the pot with the plants.. seem like all plants have ton of white hairs coming out now I don’t know what that means but I am learning as I go!!

Update: Took less than 3 days for all 3 seeds to pop. They’re all looking good, standing tall. Couple shells stuck to cotyledon leaves. I’m just going to leave them there. In the past my OCD has wanted them off and I’ve F’d up the leaf. I’m going to leave them covered with the cups until tomorrow, hopefully true leaves will be starting then. Day 57 - MONSTER BUDS a. this plant has huge buds, and only the 5th week flowering b. the next 3 weeks are going to be crazy with growth c. removed all veg nutrients with a DWC pump out, this is day 2 of full on bloom nutrients, and she loves it Day 58 - speedy growth a. buds are swelling hard, will need to ripen them up sooner than later Day 59 - great growth a. added 5L to the DWC, I think she is drinking about 4L a day still Day 60 - growth explosion a. every bud on the plant is swelling upward b. the buds are VERY dense Day 61 - more bud swelling a. these buds are growing upward and outward its crazy b. the smell is becoming more tropical/citrus Day 62 - like the FastBuds strain I grew before, they appreciate their micronutrients a. the pineapples are forming b. the DWC got another 5L c. defoliated a bit around the canopy to open up the lower bud sites Day 63 - the buds are like rocks a. i squeezed one of the buds, and they are really dense b. next week we move to Ripening nutrients c. added 5L to DWC of FloraKleen solution for 24 hrs, getting ready for RIPEN tomorrow onward! The buds will explode into real Pineapples!

Time to put them in there new home, I'm using around 45l of living soil per pot.

I still found a few places with bud rot and I keep removing every spot I see. The plants have been doing fine beside that, they are looking and smelling great, they are super dense and I can't wait for them to be ready. Most trichomes are still clear so I am awaiting for the first ambers to show up, aiming for around 5% amber and 95% milky.

The seeds are no longer small and have had cuttings taken and now will be put into flower however not all as a few plants have had problems over the last few weeks I’m rectifying

Purple Ryder auto has been growing good under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2. She did have a minor issue this week. So I changed the solution and hopefully have her up, and going strong again. Third week still good on 200 wt power led but going back 250 soon

12/24/2021 So far only one male has been identified. Glad I just reviewed my video I didn't even notice how light green #3 is, guess I mix her nutes up separately and see if she just hungry? Or naturally lighter than others. All other plants are using coast of Maine mixed into soil (her too) so I'll give her a little mirimichi 901C this week and see what happens. 12/30/2021 Noticing that there is two distinct differences between these girls, color light green and dark green.#1,#3,#8 are light green and #2,#4,#5,#6,#7 Other than that there very much similar growth and node spacing, little differences but very happy with uniformity.Both light green and dark green maintained their magenta petiols, gonna make notes on stem rub notes next week and see how they will compare.

My Rainbow Melon plant is still one of the biggest in the tent, and it's definitely the smelliest so far. The only thing I'm not crazy about is how big the leaves are getting. It's been a challenging week with the constant rain and ridiculously high humidity. Keeping things dry indoors has been a real struggle. Despite the weather, I managed to flip all my feminized photoperiod plants to flower this week. I'm hoping the switch will go smoothly, but with this humidity, it's going to be tough.
