Reviewing the plants i noted some small dots on the leaves which looked like typical bites from mites, so i sprayed some spidermite and we placed around 6 spical ulti-mite bags to prevent any further damage, lets hope it dont get worse but i think I've detected them just on time 😁 For the rest the plants are looking good, the buds are getting bigger and more thc is being produced 😁 we still have around 4 weeks to go 😅

I got a double scrog setup and I'm gonna let it grow into it. This is my first grow and I'm excited. General Hydroponics nutes (Flora series). Kingbrite QB 288 v3 from alibaba. I'm just gonna let her do her thing until about week 3.

Well a few weeks left and they are starting to fall over. Gonna be interesting holding then up for another few weeks. LoL

She is stankin, smells like citrus and funk. Giselle is shading up the tent, will defoliate. Buds are filling in!

Today 23/07/22 We are two days into week 5, never talked about nutrient or water’ problems I had some leaves with few yellow marks but very small one beside that I always saw my plants green and happy, here you can see the scrog I set up yesterday not sure if this will work better but I think will help the branches grow further from the others increasing the light they riceve! I made it myself I will order one for the next grown when I will get my grow box! The watermelon is already flowering but the northern light no so today I started feeding the plants with different preparations.. I kept on giving the grow booster with a bit of bloom booster and viceversa for the watermelon! If you have any tips anything you think I’m doing wrong or you see it’s not ok let me know I don’t grow in a box I grow between the curtains and my window so the environment wasn’t always the perfect one

Man sieht wie es langsam in die letzten beiden Wochen geht. Melonade Runtz Pheno#1 hat rötliche Stängel bekommen. Ich weiß nicht ob es die Genetik oder eventuell ein Mangel ist. Sie zeigt sonst keine Mangelerscheinungen und die anderen Strains im Zelt auch nicht. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit dass es also genetisch bedingt ist besteht somit also auf jeden Fall. Außerdem habe ich beide Lampen auf 100% laufen und dann ist es so, dass wenn die Stängel intensivem direktem Licht ausgesetzt sind, können sie sich violett, rot oder rosa färben. Die Farbveränderung durch intensives Licht ist ein natürlicher Abwehrmechanismus der Pflanze, da sie dadurch besser vor UV-Strahlung geschützt ist. Sieht sehr schön aus 😁 Beide Phenos trinken schon etwas weniger, was darauf hindeutet dass sie sich langsam dem Ende der Blütephase nähern. Riechen tun beide immer stärker, man riecht beim Pheno#1 immer mehr die Lemon Z x Lemon Tree raus. Sehr erfrischend.

Sep 7: what a great plant. Totally love how it’s going. Flowers keep getting fatter and heavier and she’ll be done before the end of September. Sep 8: there a tree root sticking up a bit in my yard which means the plant can be tilted toward the late afternoon sun. This is helpful because the sun is getting really low to the horizon already and we’re down to 13 h of daylight. Plus now direct sun is done in my yard by about 6 pm. Indirect light is okay but you really want direct sun at all times. Videos shows use of 730 nm far red light at dusk. Just a few seconds is all it takes to set the plant into dark mode two hours faster. It’s a bloom booster because you get two bonus hours of darkness or a 26 h day. Very effective but don’t miss a night and you have to adjust the timing each night. When starting this on July 20 Civil Twilight, as listed on timeanddate.com for my location, was at 9:45 and today it was at 8:40 pm. The red light at dusk is a highly recommended trick if you have daily access to your outdoor plants. Also works indoors, of course, and on autos too. Also I think it helps ‘stabilize’ the plant by emphatically putting it into dark mode, and therefore less susceptible to stray light to cause a hermie. Have not had hermie problems in four seasons of using the red light so that is my only ‘proof’ but it is true so far, even with taking flash pics before using the red light. Sep 9: getting heavier and now more branches are weighed down and slumping against the scrog net. Nice problem to have, I know, and without the scrog net some of the branches would be breaking off now. She’s now officially too big and too top heavy to keep moving around the yard in pursuit of direct sun. Sun is much lower to horizon now and direct sun hours are dropping too. Sep 10: getting close to done and getting very top heavy. Awesome. Sep 12: raining today. Has been cool last few nights and some purple colour is just starting to show. I don’t want to overdo fertilizer near the end, but I decided she is showing K deficiency. I’m out of malted barley but I still have potassium silicate, so I used that and some cal-mag. I’m avoiding kelp and molasses or using more P at this late stage because that can make the dried bud hard to burn and that really sucks. So, potassium silicate and cal-mag it is. The potassium silicate raises the pH and it takes about the same volume of vinegar to get the pH down. A good does of acetate is likely good for the bugs in the soil too. Then a squirt of Dr Bronners soap as a surfactant and that also supplies some biodegradable carbon for the bugs in the soil. Seems to work overall and is cheap. Próximo riego será de Bases PH perfecto de Advance Nutrients a todas.

So she was chopped (wet trimmed) yesterday (F74) and is now hanging up to dry at 55% RH and temps between 15 and 18ºc. I made fresh frozen dry ice hash today using a 160 micron bubble bag, a flat surface, 8kg of dry ice and a couple 5 gal buckets. I already have the weights for that, which far exceeded my expectations. Those figures I will post once she is dried and in 1 quart screw top glass jars. People suppose dry ice hash is inferior quality vs bubble hash. I am not experienced enough to comment on that but must say it is extremely easy to make hash with dry ice, it took 40 mins to process 995g of trim which included sugar leaves, some stems and popcorn buds. I then pressed it into 3.5g briquettes for storage using a pollen press. As you can see from videos, this stuff is all blonde - and after already trying some today with some friends, it knocked our boots off! Will be back in 5-7 days with harvest figures, smoke analysis and other details! Happy growing all!
