These ladies came in a rush, such a rush that they stretched out without leaving the seed. I only got a picture of two but about four of them were like that. As soon as they shedded the seed the leaves came in nicely, only one got a bit damaged from being stuck in the seed. I placed the seed in a 500ml cup with BioBizz Light Mix soil, beforehand I mixed 1 gram of Synergy per 4 liters of soil. These are live microbes called Mycorrhiza which live in symbiotic association with the roots. My idea is to leave them in this container for about 14-21 days until the roots develop correctly then transplant them to their final pot which will be an 11L fabric pot. As the light mix soil comes blended for at least two week of life, no nutrients will be added until after the transplant. All out good first week only problem was I had to adjust the light a bit to keep them from stretching, but at the end of the week ladies were spreading their leaves so they comfy now.

Start of week 5. Week 4 went well, bud site development is going great, she's gaining size and weight, the smell is starting to stand out and she's very sticky.

Was a pretty smooth week for most the girls. Showing some steady growth. I topped all of the plants around day 12 other than the slurricane 7. Ph got a little high since the nutrient level was too low to buffer it at the beginning of the week. Slurricane 7 and sugar cane are the ones that took some damage. I think they will be ok though. I upped the nutrients to 1/4 tsp per gallon and the ph has held stable since then. Should be able to start some training the middle of next week and looks like we might be going 2 more weeks on veg before flipping them to flower depending on how this upcoming week goes. Guess you will have to show up next week to find out...

So I know I said they would have one more week into the vegetative stage, but after looking at my calendar, my jars, and the plant's size, I've decided it was a good time to flip into flowering stage. After 7 days into blooming plants are in stretch mode at full speed, everything is looking good so far for these Vanilla Ice clones!

I guess from when I drowned it I caused a lurking issue that really showed it's head today. The roots were looking not slightly bleached but looking black. I cut out what looked dead and I had to run to the local Hydro shop to pick up some items to see if I can fix it and strengthen the plants. I picked up Mammoth Silica, ORCA, and ROOT Drip. Nothing new on the leaves at all. So I think the trio that I added is helping. The plants also seem to be in raised happy position going towards the light. I still plan to change the water on Saturday and go from there. 3/10/2023 Week 3- Day 6 of Veg (Day 37 overall) Moved the light up to 41 1/2" so 3' 4 1/2" away from the top of the Plants. PPFD= 363 Power on my Light =62.5 Water Temp is holding steady=70.3 PPM= 534 PH= 5.92 Tent Temp= 72.5 Humidity= 50-60% I have 2 humidifiers running on INK Bird controllers monitoring it 24/7. I will be changing out the water tomorrow even though I could let it go an extra week but I am still concerned that the Root Rot is clearing up and I don't want to risk it coming back. I want fresh Nutes/ water in the tanks. Day 70. Switching to 24/0 because the humidity is going above 70% in the night, only having the light on helps. TG1 is getting super frosty, smelling like some kind of sweet cereal. TG2 is smelling like straight diesel gas. I’m really excited to see these buds dense up. There were so many white hairs making up the buds it looked really cool.

Disclaimer: This plant is very beautiful but if you want to see a spectacular all black one go to the previous week, I took a lot of photos and separated the crops. Our second Black Diamond has given us a color between dark and purple, very beautiful also this one with shades that go from yellow to bright violet and a wonderful trichome park here too. Excellent taste between sweet and a strong smell of Arabica coffee, truly fantastic, my favorite smell in cannabis, if I smell coffee I go crazy. ** Remember that for all the varieties we have at least two plants, one left to grow straight and one worked with the techniques. Today we talk about the plant worked in topping x16 buds, as already said a beautiful straight plant is published in the last week. Hello Growmies, The final chapter of this incredible journey has unfolded, and it's time to share the bountiful harvest and reflections on the entire cultivation process. Trimming the plant was a joy, and with gentle fingers, I removed all the large fan leaves. The precision in this process revealed the true beauty of the buds, setting the stage for a smooth harvest. With care and gratitude, the plant was chopped, and the buds were hung to dry. The anticipation for what lies ahead only adds to the sense of accomplishment. The wet weight, excluding fan leaves, stands at an impressive 782 grams. The buds are massive, a testament to the efficacy of the nutrients used, particularly the Power Buds. The name seems apt, as the result is a collection of sticky, dense buds with subtle lemon notes and sweet pungent undertones. In the final moments, the plant unveiled some delightful purple hues.
