Man, it's been a crazy week. These past few days have been brutal – seriously cold with this crazy humidity. I don't know about you, but I'm sick of the chills and the way my skin feels all sticky. It's been a struggle, but I'm finally getting on top of things. I think I've figured out a good routine to dry things out around here, so hopefully, I'll be feeling a lot more comfortable soon. It's been interesting watching these permanent marker plants grow. One of them is still kinda lagging behind, but I think I've got the other one figured out. It's stacked so perfectly, and it's starting to look super sparkly, almost like it's got little crystals on it. I'm curious to see if the other plant will catch up.

Made it through 7 weeks of flower and the girls are really starting to show themselves. Twisted helix just sucks. Trying to push her another week then she will be made into bubble hash. Sugar Cane is the frostiest of the bunch but buds are pretty small compared to others. Jack Herer has the fattest buds of the bunch and a strong lemon aroma. Platinum jelly is looking nice and frosty. Twisted velvet appears to be a little behind the others but looking nice. I am thinking that the blackcherry punch will be the winner of this grow. Her buds are just covered in beautiful frost and they are also pretty fat and plump. Looks like she is going to put off a nice yield. I have started harvesting pollen from sugar cane clones and dusting the breeder clones. I gave them their first pollination a few days ago, the second today, and will dust them again in a few days. I have been collecting individual pollen sacs as they mature to speed up the process and try to maximize the amount of pollen I can store for later use. It is like trying to do brain surgery on an ant 🐜🐜. I am already seeing a lot of pistils start to brown so things are looking good.

And the time to flip this Mama came and with it so did the defoliation one, she did fell amazing the canopy, i am supper, i mean supper happy with the way she is growing, how fast and vigorous, how green and full of leafs, i mean not now lol now she as almost no leafs since i took the most of them out lol but i believe they will be back is less than a week or so and that this lady will ask for a new Mass defoliation sooner than i think, lets see lol !!! Started the week with some Low Stress Training and continued to add and rearrange the ties throughout the week. There are a handful of reasons to LST your plants but the main reason should be to train the plant to grow with an even canopy when flowering. If you were to just grow your plant without any training, the plant would typically grow like a Christmas tree where the star would be your main top cola and have smaller buds (larf) on the bottom 3/4 of the plant. When trained correctly and achieving an even canopy will produce multiple large colas across an even canopy allowing as many colas (bud sites) as possible to be the same height from the light source. The Pineapple grew quickly which made the LST very easy and it worked out great in the end. The Purple was not growing so good and that was disappointing considering the other Purple that was growing in the other space grew very nice, similar to the Pineapple. Getting a runt / mutant is more common than one would think. At this point Feed was every other day and 3ml in 3L Ph between 6 - 6.1 *This week switched both SF2000 lights on and was having heat issues which didn't get corrected till late in the week.

Last week went well after I realized that I had the light a tad too close and I had to up cal-mag 1 mL per gallon more. She is showing improvement. It seems that she just had some spotting on some fan leaves as a result of the light being too close. Adjusted the lst ties and other than that, it's been smooth sailing for her. Started giving her big bud during feedings. I am going to say that the next run of this strain will be a good one! Has great potential. Wish I had the light for her to be under by herself from the start, but things happen. I am a believer in the quality of Mars Hydro LED lights and I am going to be using them from now on. i was in spain- so no update

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. Day 39 11/06/20 ok so she is doing very good and the color is amazing. i cant wait till she gets bigger and boy she is thirsty i have to 5 from 1 gal to 5 L. i have lots of info in the vids for your viewing. happy growing and keep your stick on the ice

12.5 - F60 - another couple dark cycles and she'll get the big dark and chop. Really excited, such a loverly plant and the way the calyx started stacking up in the past couple weeks has been neat. I frequently see people harvest very round buds off this plant, so I'm curious to see how she looks all trimmed up.

A lot going on this week!! Feeding 3 quarts every Sunday and Wednesday at this point. I did a light defoliation on Monday and did a more thorough defoliation on Friday! I opened up a lot of bud sights and it shows in the pics from late in the week!! I just turned the fan and carbon filter on. Temps are currently holding at 73-74F and the humidity is between 43-45%. I'm very happy with that! I hope to keep them both happy!! Enjoy!

Start of Week 9 🙌 I plan to use fertilizer for bud growth from day 64 to day 70+... depending on when the harvest time occurs 😉😄👍 Started working with fertilizer today, every 2 days a mixture of 10ml per liter as long as the buds have not properly developed trichomes 😵 I hope this works 😵😲😱 Day 68 with fertilizer again
