So this is my next project! My Acai gelato clone is too great to lose. But I also started a regular seed run of platinum lemon cherry gelato Bx2 So I will have a couple males and I wanted to try my hand at breeding. Then I came to am awesome realization that I could reveg the Acai gelato aka Gelato 49 and throw some of the plcg male pollen on to her as well. Hello Growers and Tokers! Welcome to another run where I'll be testing something from a local breeder. The cultivar is Orange Apricot x Mimosa from Mallorca Breeders. This cultivar is a treat, I've had the delight of smoking this grown from the actual breeder. If it comes out anything like that I'll be more than happy. Frosty buds, very oily, very tasty, very hard, very nice, very everything! It was a 10/10 smoke Let's hope we have a 10/10 grow to have some 10/10 nugs. Strain description from breeder: Genetic Background: Orange Apricot x Mimosa Type: Feminized Sativa 50% Indica 50% THC: CBD: Yield Indoor : gr/m2 Height Indoor: 0 - 0 cm Flowering time: 8 - 9 weeks ( 55 - 60 days) Aroma: 
Effect: Expectations and training method: I know these genetics are a bit delicate so I’ll be taking things very easy. 
The breeder suggests waiting until the fan leaves come out to decide the training technique. If the fan leaves are thinner then it’s leaning more towards Orange Apricot and will be a bit more sativa and has more ramifications so most likely LST. Thicker fan leaves would be leaning towards Indica which is what I actually want, the Mimosa side. Breeder recommends topping this Pheno to increase yields. Let’s hope they’re Mimosa leaning.. 
 As for the yields I’m not expecting more than 40 grams per plant but always shooting for more. I’ve already smoked this strain grown by the breeder and other local breeders, which is what made me want to grow it myself. I expect nothing but trichomes and terps from these ladies. 03/01 - Day 57 All the girls have their pistils changing colors, buds growing by the day, (B) has has very sweet aromas coming out, & (C) is more earthy and peppery. Still losing some fan leaves here and there on (A) & (D) from the Cal/Mag & Phosphorus defiance but nothing like 2 weeks ago. 03/05 - Day 61 Enjoying the process and maintaining the environment. Buds on (B), (C), & (D) are starting to get heavy. Maybe some foxtails starting on (C)??

I'm very happy with how these came out. They finished right in the breeders estimated flowering time and they smell great. The back plant came out smaller, as expected, due to the watering issues I had, but it still came out very nice. Update 6/20: Just finished trimming the plants and they are now going into a curing bucket. Total dry weight is 210g and the bud smells really nice!

We are in week 6 of bloom on a 7 to 8 week flowering time! I am LOVE LOVEING this strain! Within this last week its gotten a Bit hotter later in May! We sare doping grereat tho, She is showing some signs of heat stress in my eyes causde of the burnt tips, I dont think nutrients caused this cause I have not been giving here many nutrients, the top feed and one tiime I gave her some Tastey Terpenes from advanced nutrients. This living soil has been amaazing I honestly dont think I needed to give the plant the Nirvana, I do think it helped. I am light watering with irrated ph balanced for the next few days, might gvive her some sugars molasses yummm. much love looooking to harvest soon, This strain is blowinig my mind, so is this soil. With everything I put into the soil and learning how to build a soil has beeen a journey and im on it! Hoping this plant swells up some in the next weeek put some weight on, now that all the pistols are brown ill check thrichomes soon!!

I did some defoliation and lst on the clone today. Everything has been looking good. She started develop normally. I have no set agenda for this plant. It may be In a vegging stage for some time. I dunno yet. DAY 66 Watering every 3 days.. 💧I always do 2L and stop when I see runoff. Now, I can smell fruit. 🍒 See the fat trichomes, this stinks, I can tell you. 😏 DAY 68 I checked trichomes, I actually didn't expect any plant to finish "in time", but this one has all cloudy trichomes! Huh! 😳 So I took a small bud to test smoke.. it's drying now. Smells like Coke, and like something sweet from my early childhood when I didn't have a memory. It's subliminal paradise. And then it smells like weed, really pungent, yeeeesssssssss!!! 💪 HOW CAN THIS PLANT ACTUALLY SMELL LIKE ACTUAL COKE??? It's an unmistakable coke fragrance! Time flies, we have arrived in a flash at day 16, it seems like the other day that the first young ladies were appearing on September 1st. "Do you remember.....nanannana Septermber" She is the Karen Kush, a brand new strain with almost no previous cultivation, it has a crazy name and from the first weeks of growth it actually seems a bit crazy. Low internodal distance, regular growth. I made a small mistake, I personally went a bit easy with the growth fertilizer and there is a slight beginning of nitrogen deficiency, but we solve it immediately by giving the normal doses, don't worry. Usually I am in line with the table now I was slightly under with the grow and I did wrong. Let it be clear that if you see a slight fading, next week you will not see it anymore. --- feeding program - As I mentioned I was shy with fertilization and the seedlings are slightly, very slightly faded, let's learn to notice these small signs and with the normal doses after two or three waterings we should be fine.
