November 5: Everything seems to be coming along nicely, I'm a little worried about some brown spots forming on one of my Pineapple Skunk's leaves November 10: Week 3 of veg starting soon and I transplanted them to 6 inch (possibly .5 or 2l) and watered/fed ~150ml 1/4 strength mega crop (.5g per gallon) Roots seemed mostly well developed, not quite reaching the bottom of the cup but covering the walls, except on the triple cheese, which sort of fell apart during transplant. I should have known that one wasn't quite ready as the soil had not been drying out as quick as the other plants. Hopefully she isn't too shocked I plan to FIM next week and then hopefully transplant again to 5 gallons before the end of the month, to ultimately have a sea of green by the end of December before switching to 12/12

I noticed some small brown spots forming on one of my plants leaves, not sure what it is, maybe early sign of cal deficiency? The other plant looks nearly identical with out these spots, any advice helps although it could be too soon to tell what it is...

Everything looks good to me. They shouldn’t need any notes at this early stage and are susceptible to burning very easily if you do choose to. Those leaves will be nothing meaningful in a week and they look fine anyways. Good luck

Week three has started growth slowed a little after re-potting but so far so good :) november 16 I topped, or possible fimmed , all 4 plants at the 6th node and fed with ~1/2 strength mega crop. hopefully will do the final transplant early next week to 5 gallon fabric pots with ffof mixed in

Start of week 4, the girls have been moved up to 5 gallon fabric pots with LST holes, filled with Fox Farm Ocean Forest, perlite, potting soil and Diatomaceous earth (also tried spreading some on top to hopefully prevent any gnats). Seems I may have properly FIM'd 2, topped one of the Pineapple skunk and the GDP is looking like she received a failed FIM hope she uses this time to catch up Probably won't be topping again... for a while at least. Hoping to have a sog/scrog in ~4 weeks, maybe I'll flip them on Christmas

Week 4 and growing strong, Pineapple Skunks are doing amazing, accidentally fed some water/mega crop that was PH'd way too low, I've been noticing more orange/brown spots developing on my Pineapple skunk, other one is still good, hopefully its just a PH issue. Probably going to actually top/FIM the GDP soon and maybe top the Pineapple Skunk that wasn't FIM'd to get more than 2 main colas. Happy Danksgiving! Decided not to do any more topping, hoping the screen helps even the canopy enough maybe will flip to flower on the 9th, after week 6? we will see... Started noticing preflower/pistils on the cheese and a very pleasant aroma in my tent :)

December 2nd: Week 6 has started, hopefully last week of veg, defoliating, started feeding Sweet Candy, reducing humidity... more to come Tuesday night and it's end of week 6 or day 42, they are doing well, about 16 inches tall and bushy but I feel like another week of veg wouldn't hurt, hoping to get them all around 18 inches tall before I flip Comments and likes appreciated, stay high

Last week of veg, starting 12/12 tomorrow as I'm starting to worry about space.. hopefully stretching isn't too much of an issue.. we shall see. I'm still not happy with my defoliation, I've been mostly removing large/damaged leaves and sucker branches off the bottom of the plants. I've been experimenting with the fan and scrog placement, placing one large fan oscillating below the canopy and two clip on fans above the tops and mostly using the scrog as a support for branches during flower as I somewhat failed to actually scrog.. Once again, any advice much appreciated and happy holidaze!

Somewhat slacking with detailed photos from this week, been busy with the holidays/ family etc. hopefully should have a little more time to take some good ones for next week.. Not much to say, they are getting quite big! some more lower branches and leaves were removed and I've been watering every other day, about .5-.75 gal per plant until I see some run off and the top looks evenly moist. End of week 1 of flower and there are Lots of white pistils, a pleasant smell (controlled by my filter/vent) and some major stretching happening on the strongest branches. Already raised the light by a few inches twice now too keep the distance over 12 inches from these stretchy ones! 😏 Also found a large healthy looking seed in my grinder that I've saved (Mac 1 supposedly, its good smoke)

They are getting quite large, keeping most everything the same feeding/watering every other day, this mega crop stuff is pretty simple hopefully it will perform well at harvest! I'm not so worried about vertical space now as I found a way of hanging the mars hydro with out the included wire hangers that cause them to hang 12"+ lower

Couple days left of week 3, and buds are starting to swell, and trichs are forming. I've removed most of the lower branches at this point (which probably should have been done earlier), I'll hopefully do the last of the defoliation this week too. I'm going to bump up the nutes a little for a while before flushing for at least 2 weeks when they are starting to look ready! Smell inside the tent is getting stronger, made me sneeze a couple times when I peeked in there the other day 😅 Have a happy new year!

Pistils are starting to turn orange/brown, the buds are getting large and smell so sweet (and dank!) at this point, maybe because of the sweet candy? I'm pleased. Can't wait for harvest, hopefully 4 weeks left, going to start flushing around the 23rd when the trichs are starting to turn cloudy/amber

Recently noticed some of the leaves on my GDP plant are yellowish and have some odd dark spots, hoping someone could tell me what it looks like to them. Should I stop feeding her? only a couple weeks until flush... thanks

Quite a few deficiencies you have here, mostly Calcium (Ca) and Potassium (K). Increase total fertilization by about 50%. At this stage of flowering your plant needs increased amounts of nutrients! Hope this helps! Good luck and happy growing :)

Added cal-mag this week as I noticed the leaves on my GDP were turning yellow, but also seems the are a bit purple now too... I think the real issue may have been PH though as I tested the run off and it was closer to 5.5-6 vs the water which I had been trying to keep at least 6.5 but as I'm learning I need a lot more PH up now to keep it balanced with the amount of nutes. Probably should have flushed at some point to help correct the PH but I have just watered with slightly more basic solution, ~7 reducing slightly each watering to 6.5, picked up a PH pen as I'm getting low on the test liquid. The buds are getting fat and sticky, the smell is nice as well. 3 weeks left, harvest should be on 55th day of flower, the 8th I'm estimating at least 2 ounces dry from the cheese, hoping to get at least 3 or 4 off the rest of these though. 👏 time will tell. Stay high 😎

The cheese looks ready, all pistils have changed.. but she's small. Pistils are changing on the rest (45-55% white), will be trying to use this microscope more to check the trichs but I struggle to get them in focus 😟 Going to start reducing the MC starting tomorrow, roughly 2 weeks left, will flush with ph'd water for the last 2-3 waterings. These girls are sticky, sweet, fattening up and looking really nice Stay high, and stay tuned 😁

Less than a week left, I've been reducing nutes and will be flushing with ph'd water twice before harvest, everything is sticky, smelly, and some of these skinnier/weaker branches are bending from the weight of the buds now 😎 Pistils are mostly all changed now (trichs are looking cloudy as well) and the leaves on the Cheese are yellowing, looking like she's ready so is the GDP but not quite as much.. These Pineapple Skunk plants could probably go a little longer but I will be harvesting the whole tent on the 55th day of flower, monday the 8th. then they will dry in the tent (hopefully at 50% rh, 67 f) for a few days before trimming and jarring, cheers 😃

What a ride, Made some mistakes and missteps along the way but I learned so much about these plants and the intense care and attention that goes into growing quality herb 😵 Next grow I think I will stake branches instead of the scrog so I can easily reach/rotate or lift plants. I definitely need to focus on growing fewer larger branches off each plant because trimming larfy/airy popcorn nugs from all these little branches that popped up during flower is no fun😡. Probably should take my time more with the next one, I received a Dr Grinspoon seed so that obviously will force me to extended the flower time, might go longer in veg too removing more leaves/branches before flipping. Overall besides the trimming hell I've been in for the last week This was so much fun and I can't wait to go again and improve on my methods, try new ones and learn even more 😁 Thanks for checking out my first Diary, FatalFarmer
