Day 42 of 12/12 Smells amazing!! Buds are fatting up nicely and are frosty af!!

This is a strain a costom breeder and friend of mine has asked me to try. I know little about the genetics other than the name: "Gorilla Glue Pineapple Cheese" Popped the seed as a back up just in case one of my Silver Haze cuttings didn't make it but they all did. This means along with the Gelato there will be 5 plants in this run in the 4x4 tent. I usually only grow 4, so might transfer this into a 3 gallon pot instead of a 5 gallon like the others, as in the past 5 plants in a 4x4 is pushing it for space. We'll see.

RQS Titan F1 week 5 Hello friends and followers, 2/25 This has been an exciting week. My Titan girls started flower 🌼. T3 in the 3-gallon air pot is larger at 6.5 inches. Last week I noticed her new growth was getting long and thin. A sure sign the pistils will emerge in a day or two. T3 started flower 🌼on 2/25. 2/26 Surprise surprise, T3 stretched an inch overnight and T2 about a.5 inch. That stretch meant I had a busy plant workday ahead. First, I defoliated T3 since I could see what I had to work with. Then because I’ve been following @yan402 on his Titan grow, I said I was going to top her. He said its ok if done correctly and at the right time. Well, fingers crossed 🤞, I hope it was not too late or cut in yhe wrong place since T3 was already in flower. Her short (.75-1” long) stems are so close to the stem, it was difficult getting the tie down pins placed. With T2’s stretches her tippy top is just peeking above the copper pot rim. She is towering 😅 at 2.5 inches. T2 was defoliated on 2/26 as well. Her defoliation pictures above show how many I was able to trim off 7 and the leaf relative size. T2’s largest leaf is the size of a quarter and the smallest set I cut off, about the size of a penny. I keep supplementing and folar spraying with Cal-mag but the internodal chlorosis is still visible. I think Teapot gal (T2) has a copper excess.  Slowed Growth,  Fewer branches  Internodal Chlorosis  Stumpy roots (I won’t see this until I harvest and reveal the root ball) Given these symptoms of copper excess, and that RQS Titan are F1 hybrids and should be stable, I believe the height and the health differences are attributable to the copper wire teapot. They are in the same soil, same tent environment, same nutrient solution, same light, same everything. As I stated in previous discourse, I expected the overall plant to be smaller than T3 simply based on the pot size but did not expect to see such size differences so early, not to mention the nutrient issues. How I wonder? The copper wire is separated from the plant and soil by coco liner (which should be neutral, then coffee filters because I thought the soil would was out). Then the soil and plant. T2 is towering at 2.5 inches and started flower on 2/29. I expected a delay in her flowering time (4 days after T3) since she was transplanted to the teapot when T1 failed to thrive (maybe also the teapot cause?). Any time you train your plants, the stress causes delays in flowering then harvest. I defoliated T2 on 3/1 day 30. The pictures after defoliation show the tight node structure with 3 or 4 nodes crammed in only 1.5 inches of the main stem. Sheesh. So, as we enter March, we are off and growing buds. RQS says harvest 70-75 days or 40-45 days of flower. My calculations – harvest will be April 13-18. Be sure to come for my tea

03/31/25: Today was a major milestone in the grow: all five plants were transplanted into 1-gallon AirPots and topped above the 3rd node. I also cleaned up everything below node two, leaving each plant with two strong, healthy nodes to begin shaping their structure for the vegetative phase. Normally, I wouldn’t combine transplanting and topping on the same day, as both are stress-inducing events. However, the plants looked robust and healthy, showing no signs of weakness. Because of this, I felt confident they could handle the dual stress. Still, I expect them to take the next 2–3 days to recover, after which I anticipate they’ll bounce back with even more vigor. Each plant was moved into a 1-gallon AirPot, which encourages air pruning and promotes a more fibrous, expansive root system. During transplant, I sprinkled mycorrhizal fungi directly near the rootball of each plant to help stimulate root colonization and increase nutrient uptake during this critical phase. On inspection, the roots were healthy and white, showing no signs of being rootbound—making this the perfect window for transplanting without risking transplant shock or root constriction. The newly potted plants were placed back into the 4x4 tent, now sitting about 36 inches (approximately 91.5 cm) below the AC Infinity S44 light, which is set to 40% power. This provides a PAR reading of around 360 µmol/m²/s, which is well-suited for early veg. To begin early phenotype tracking, I’ve labeled the plants as PP1 through PP5: • PP1: Most vigorous plant so far • PP2: Slightly behind PP1 in size and growth rate • PP3–PP5: Showing very similar growth characteristics, slightly more compact If early vigor is any indication of sex, I would guess that PP1 and PP2 may be male, while PP3 through PP5 could be female. That said, this is purely speculative—true sex traits won’t reveal themselves until preflower, and many vigorous plants end up being female as well.

New flowering continues to develop on this lady, she seems to be swelling up day by day. Yellowing of the fan leaves has started which usually means it's time to flush, I need to check the trichomes to see how amber they appear before I do just in case the flavour or yield could be effected.

Fastbuds Auto Update – Week 7 🌱 Another week has passed, and things are looking great! 🌿 This week I did a deep watering, almost like a mini flush, to bring down the PPM levels and keep everything balanced. 💧⚖️ The plants are thriving beautifully, and something really interesting has come up — three of them remind me so much of Blue Dream, which was actually the very first strain I ever grew! 🌸💭 The structure, the aroma, everything about them instantly took me back to those early days. It’s very likely that 3 seeds from this 10-seed mix pack are Blue Dream. 🍇✨ Such a pleasant surprise and a nice bonus of growing mix packs — you never know when a strain will unlock some great memories! 🌱💚.

This little lady grew a little bigger than the others. The smell! I've been working to finish my dry room. I'll have 3 rooms dedicated to my medicinal gardens once all is said and done.

In my first few grows, I was hitting around 30 grams of dry weight, my buds weren't "fattening up", and I was underwhelmed by my results. So, I started again, and I've completely rebuilt my grow area. Lessons learnt: 1. Light REALLY REALLY REALLY matters! I started out by using a 35w led panel. I then "upgraded" to a cheap 100w grow light. I thought these would be good enough, and to some extent they were. However, since the rebuild, I invested in a Mars Hydro TS1000, which was significantly more expensive than the other two. I'm absolutely astounded by the results. If you're starting your grow journey, buy the best you can afford. The light is the most important part of the build, and if you get that right, the rest is a doddle. 2. Tents are worth the money. I originally had my stealth grow up in the loft, but have instead bought a small budbox tent, and that, combined with the light, has made a huge difference to the maintenance of a stable growing environment. For the first time, I am seeing fat buds, and it's a thrill. I at last know what people mean now when they say their buds are fattening up, because mine are visibly 2 or 3 times bulkier than those of my first 4 or 5 grows. And there's a lot of them. Previously I'd get the main bud on the main stem, and some smaller buds around that. My smaller buds are now almost equal in size to my main before, and my main makes me drool. I cannot wait to harvest. 3. Control pH. Stay on top of this, and keep it in the optimal range to the best of your ability. Buy a chap pH meter, and do your measures regularly. Make adjustments to the best of your ability. This means doing maths, and I've yet to get a formula that works well enough to be precise in terms of weights and measures of up/down agents, but small changes rather than wild swings are the way forward. 4. Try not to stress your girls out. I've had two grows go hermie on me. Too much LST, too much chopping and too much variation in conditions - water, nutrients and environment. 5. Don't give up. I'm not much of a smoker, but I so very much enjoy being a gardener. There's something deeply satisfying in knowing that you are getting it right. Sort of plays to my competitive nature. I'll take some pictures later, and show you what I mean.

This plant is doing very well she was donated to a Cuban friend I have which actually has two of them and they are very well she is very tall with large branches despite being on a small pot she has been fed nutrients once a week no training has been done on her despite all that she's looking fantastic I did not want to keep her with me because I don't know if they're flowering cycle will be done by the 1st of October if not then rain and humidity is too high to be able to crop something outside in Ontario. Canopy has began to fill in very nice, actually a little surprised given how lanky the one pheno was looking. My bag seed plant I was holding out hope of being female has let me down, she or should I say HE, showed his first little plant nuts a day or two ago. SMH 🤦‍♂️. Oh well, that's what we got the feminized seeds for anyway 😂. Hopefully we have some little flowers to show you guys in the next week or so! I've been defoliating slowly trying to keep them small due to a house inspection coming up. Once that's out the way I'll put them in bigger pots then switch to flower. They all outgrew the mutated start and are looking good.

This grow was another learning process for me as I made a couple of errors along the way but overall I'm still staisfied with this grow. There were two different pheno's one short and the other stretched, the shorter one didn't frost up as much as stretchy but had a slightly higher yield, the individual weights are 126g for shorty and 114g for stretchy. Overall the grow could of been better and there's lots of room for improvement, I feel that I can do better next time but still Happy with it 😁

Eccoci qua all ultima settimana di questa esperienza grandiosa! La mia prima volta in coltura DWC per me è stato fenomenale! Sono uscite due ragazze stupende! La papaya sherbert è davvero quella uscita meglio con dei bei fiori compatti e pieni di resina! L unica cosa negativa è che devo aver sbagliato qualcosa, anche se nn so cosa, dato che i fiori sono rimasti piccoli, numerosi ma molto piccoli rispetto alle coltivazioni fatte in precedenza.. Xo davvero a livello terpenico queste due piante sono spettacolari! Il loro odore penetra tutta la mia abitazione, uscendo anche fuori sopratutto la mattina presto, nonostante il filtro a carboni, in tutto il mio giardino si sente odore di frutta "molto speziata" in inverno, quindi quando tutti gli altri odori sono assenti, apparte l odore della combustione della legna della stufa... L unuca cosa che mi protegge dai miei vicini che potrebbero sospettare che di fianco a loro succede qualcosa di strano! 😂Grazie a tutti voi che mi avete seguito fino ad ora, vi terrò aggiornati per l. Imminente raccolta, ora ho cambiato l acqua per l ultima volta e ho messo acqua normale con il finale clean di Terra Aquatica, che nel giro di 3 max 4 giorni dovrebbe pulire a dovere la ragazza da tutti i nutrienti in eccesso, speriamo esca Dell ottima erba, con una combustione ottimale e un fumo pulito!
