Week 8 and growth continues to be muted. Due to the poor soil, I'm only slightly scratching the strain's potential. I've attached a video of the insects that were in the soil, along with the fungus gnats. Day 17 (starting Aug. 2nd afternoon): Will water them with a lightly enhanced RO water that was imprinted with frequencies via a PEMF coli for about one day when their day starts. After being away over the extended weekend, on day 20 ladies have grown very nicely. I topped nr# 1 and #2 after I took the photos and will give them a bit of water with Root Complex to compensate for the shock later. Sadly my brilliant control equipment has crashed completely and will not even take a photo currently. Yikes. Hope I can get it back alive this week again. Also turned the left light up by another 20%, now running at 40 W, and lifted it a bit. Eye inspection told me lights were lower here and ladies can get a bit more. At the end of their day 20, they seem to have survived the topping well. I managed to cut right above the new nodes which are already growing. Ladies are at 20 cm height before going to sleep. Day 21 shows great growth again, with lady #1 being at 22 cm now and lady #2, while being a bit less tall, extremely good side branch development. I hope that the rearranged lighting on the left side of the tent will make #1 grow a bit bushier too. Besides from that, I am really happy I tested Hesi HPE. I had such enormous success with room plants that made me want to see how Cannabis plants react to it. It will not add much to salinity, so I dared to add it quite early. While the photos are processed to compensate the lighting, I did not add much to saturation, so leaves are indeed of a very vivid, luscious green and ladies looking extremely healthy. Speed of growth has increased too as the added video shows. It also tells me lighting is enough – they are turning their leaves away right at the end of their day. I am really uncertain if I will change to usual Hesi grow fertiliser at all … Did a bit of LST to the lowest branches of lady #2 which spread almost to the border of her pot. Both temporary girls will leave the tent soon, so that the competitors will have maximum space to develop. Day 22, end of week 3: Outside girl went to get fresh air from now on. Wishing her luck, good weather and not a single male in the vicinity. I rearranged the lights and positioned them a bit higher. First preflower signs appeared on the ladies, so I will change the lighting phase when I return next week. Currently, I have them at 18/6, 45 cm above heads, with 80% running to a total of 80 W. I wasn’t so lucky topping #2. She has only one "top side" branch now … But grows extremely well, so ok!

Day 57: Today I defoliated all the plants again. It wasn't much on the Tropical Marker, but I had to remove quite a bit from the other two because they're growing very bushy. I also wove the shoots further into the net. I think it's turning out really well. I also watered the Tropical Marker and the Purple Kush with 2 liters of water each with fertilizer and a pH of 6.3. I set the light to 80%. The Tropical Marker's flower is getting bigger and bigger! Day 58: Not much new has happened; they've enjoyed the defoliation and more light. All the girls are preaching to the light. I've also woven some shoots further into the net. Day 59: Hey guys, the plants look great! The Purple Kush and Pink Gelato are starting to stretch more. The buds are slowly forming. Today, I watered all three plants with 2 liters of water. I added 5 ml of Hes-Bio-Bloom and 1 ml of Bio-Bizz-Calmag to the water per liter. Then, I increased the pH to 6.4 with bio-bizz-up. Here and there, I weaved some shoots further into the net.

I was not able to dedicate the full time I needed to make this happen today, so I decided I would give it one more day. One thing I am noticing is the color of the leaves. I've always wanted to grow a strain that has purple in it, and it looks like this plant turned super purple. I couldn't tell because of the lights. 9/24/23 - Day 115 - I'm 2hrs away from chopping. With the Leaf box, you have to stay on your timeline, No rushing it, and no waiting. Always right on time. I started the grow at 3 pm 115 days ago so from 3 pm - 3 pm is a full 24/hrs. I'll update after 3 p.m. I already have my tripod, tools, cleaning materials, etc., up and ready. We will drain the water, ill then remove the roots and clean out the tub. Then, I'll start to remove the branches one at a time. Once they are removed, I will then get the hanging supports in place. Then I will hang them upside down and hope there is enough room. :) I've noticed I have a lot of views on this grow. One thing I feel I should do a better job of (based on all the messages I received) is documenting the process that I follow throughout the grow. So I'll start my next grow in November. I'll document it with better "this is how I do this in Leaf" type details. 2 hours and counting! See you at 3 PM! 9/24/23 - I started at 3 p.m. and finally finished around 9 p.m. Holy shit, am I tired...... I have a lot of pictures and videos to upload. I'll add some photos tonight with some videos to follow tomorrow. I don't know how much I have yet, I need to wait until I can jar them to weigh them. I was able to get all the buds off and hung. With a couple of bags of A/B stock (Snicklefritz) of leftovers that I didn't want to hang. In just the Snicklefritz, I had 219g of wet buds. Ill know the full dry amount in a couple of days. I was REALLY happy with the amount of buds. There were more than 75 branches of bud to hang/dry. Its the most weed I have grown ever. Now that the buds are all back in the box. The Leaf box will handle all of the drying process. It will maintain temperature as well as humidity. I now wait and check daily to check for dryness. I think one more day should work before I start putting them in jars. I already trimmed them. Its a prefrence on trimming before/after drying. Becuase I had so much I wanted to make sure there was enough air space. This is my first grow in this box so this will be floor, theres no where to go but up from here. Im hoping to finish out this journal in September with a final weight.

9/6 Didn't do a video this morning. Went over again around noon and defoliated what needed it. I noticed what looked like stem mold on the special kush that those locusts have STRIPPED and saw what looked like mold but I left it and assumed it was just a bite out because it wad right at a node. I removed a major branch the other day. When I got back around noon the spot had tripled in size and was 100% mold. I cut that branch off too. It was a large main limb. The plant IS frosty but it's not ready. You cant see it but the calyx is pink. There are some branches that are completely stripped. They like the special kush for some reason and seem to target that. I should go over at night and see what I can see. Pink kush is flowering fairly aggressive. Not as much as the natural mk ultra though. I cant believe how fast those are exploding. As long as weather permits the pink kush will finish. I tried the special kush #1 which I'm almost done trimming and it wad amazing. Really eases anxiety and hits me square in the eyes. Very sedative happy strain. Tastes like pine, skunk and something I can't quite identify. Maybe the forest? I'm incredibly happy with the outcome. 9/7 Holy shit. It's STILL raining. Just for the ones that didn't hear it in the back, 'I' am so glad I harvested that plant when I did!" I got super lucky. I hate having to cut off limbs or come in the morning to find a branch eaten. Next year I'm 100% getting floating row covers. That will fix most problems. Buds are exploding in size. On everything. We've had some pretty high winds as well. The natural mk ultra continues to surprise me. It seems like the flowers get noticeable bigger day to day. Finally the pink kush has some small buds. This is an October strain though. I had already popped them or I would've been running more 10th planet or mk ultra. Hey maybe this strain will make it through the fall and give me some crazy quality nugs. It's an exciting time to be a cannabis grower. I processed and jarred that Special Kush #1. I trimmed almost everything. I have a jar of "smalls" buds that didn't come off a cola and another jar that is "trimmed" but needs to be "manicured" like the rest. I'll finish today and continue the curing process. It's always great to get an early phenome. Especially when it does what you want. Oh, I noticed a couple spots on leaves that COULD be septoria showing again. With all the rain I'm really not worried. I haven't been giving the preventative dose of Plant Doctor but I might do so when I need to water next. If I have a little while before harvest. That would help with budrot or any kind of fungal issue. I don't want to water when it's saturated. I'll wait until next water and even then I may not apply it. We shall see. EDIT: Stopped raining around 1 but it's been off and on. I shook everything off and found a pillar in one of the special kush plants. The one I had to cut to major limbs off. I got the moth larvae and removed all the debris inside. Did that with the other special kush and it was fine. I'm going over after dark to see what is munching on plants so fast. While I was removing the pillar a bird flew behind my head and grabbed something on the plant behind me. This morning a little feather was resting on a leaf. After the dive bomb I turned and found another. I can't help but smile. Nature can take her claim. It usually isn't much and I'm fine with that. The birds however are on my side. We've got a synergistic relationship. 9/8 Finally the rain ended. Didn't have time to take a video and everything was soaking wet. I'm noticing that things are getting a lot more frosty. I found my loupe so it will be easier to look at the trichs. The special kush that ive had to take two main limbs off (because they were totally stripped) is losing more. Long stalks with all the nodes eaten off with just the cola at the top. I'm not going to get much off this plant but I don't want to lose everything. The calyxes are pink and starting to retract. I'll take a look at it with my loupe when I get home. We are supposed to have a pretty good week. The natural mk ultra's buds are exploding in size! For the most part EVERYTHING is. It's going to be a good year.

Fractal week 18 & 19. 7/28 - 8/4-10 I am late for my outside ladies diaries updates. Life has been getting the best of me lately. I’ve been packing my daughter’s room and moving her things to her new home. For those that have followed my since my beginning here, Cancer left me with neuropathy and arthritis in my hands. I can no longer do my glass fusing or flame work. To close this chapter of my life, I’ve been inventorying glass, tools, equipment, molds and supplies to sell. The most stressful has been appealing Medicare claims and receiving the second denials on the same claims. They are the last payer of record so good luck getting any reimbursement you are entitled to. My apologies to all of you for being so brief on your diaries and not providing many comments. Photos are from 7/28- 8/9 for both weeks. For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They continue to live in sweltering conditions. Temps are in the upper 80-90s with humidity over 105. In addition to the heat, Hurricane Debby started up the coast but was downgraded to a tropical storm by the time it got to us. Expecting our normal thunderstorms, I waited til morning to bring the ladies inside. Overnight, we had wind gusts of 25mph. Yeah, then I brought all gals into the house. The photo gals are strong and with thick stalks were able to withstand the winds. Both Opium’s got blown over Auto Opium is thin and spindly and before I could save her from the winds and rain, she got whipped side to side. The top 2 feet bent hard one way and the top 6 inches bent the other direction. The pics show my attempt to bandage the damage 😟 to her top cola with chopsticks and electrical tape. I top dressed all ladies with Bloom Soil for organic fertilizer. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed. Aug 29th - I prepped the plant for Flower, half a week early, so week 3, is legit even though it sounds eager. Plant looks so solid - fed 1gal of nutes yesterday - 2nd Schwazze tomorrow… 20 days from the 1st (10th) 30th - a meal of NPK nutes was provided + Calimag; 1 gallon - Schwazze carried out (#2) 20 days after going into Flower -posted 2 shots from Aug 9th Schwazze event; my First. Wow what a change in 21 days - next meal is water and will be to Run-off as required to drop PPM below 1500 Sept 1st - Meal time today is Water to Run-off. The last big feed saw elevated ppm in the run-off and it was flushed till it dropped below 1500. That was not the end, as today it gets a proper flush of 4 gallons of pH’d water, followed by a fifth gallon with Basic NPK nutes + Massive Bloom (12ml/Gal) at 1300ppm - as the last (5th) gallon went in, the PPM of the run-off tested below 1500ppm. I call that even till next time. And now I know theres no excess chems built-up in the bottom of the Pot; Forward it is - targeted pH going in has always been 6.4. The runoff had a pH of 6.3 and that is an awesome number to confirm. Targeted meals are now 6.5 pH - now the Flush is Done, it is time to Top-Dress and Amend the soil again. Same ingredients; Bat guano, Worm Castings, Azomite, Kelp Meal and “Power Bloom” + 3-4 oz of Dried Crushed Fan leaves from other grows. This is Scratched into the surface and mixed as best possible. Water as needed. Nutes as desired 3rd - fed 3.5L of pH’d water @6.6 through the Amended Soil. - more growth over-nite puts her above 115cm - last day week 3. Buds are forming as white hairs are Out

Week 3 of flower and decided to start using PLAGRON: Green Sensation a week earlier. Pistils are appearing and maybe need some phosphorous and potassium. Quite a bit of stretching going on. Had to bend back a few stems to try even out canopy. Some burnt tips? From what? No idea. One of the strawberry cough seems to be taking longer to transition, still stretching and no pistils. Apart from the tip burns, which I’m hoping is because of my light being too close. (Adjusted higher now) It seems to be going OK, nothing great….

It was an interesting week...nice to have something to keep my mind occupied on these girls during this covid-19 epidemic. 2 days after water change last week, my roots started to turn brown and have appeared to stop growing, I first was concerned that it was root rot, but the plants didn't seem to be affected. So I added more UC ROOTS to the solution in hopes that it would help, I noticed white roots shooting out about 24 hours after. I think it may have been the increase in the coco cal that did the damage. They are filling the net nicely and I will be flipping them to flowering this week I think.
