I don't agree with that at all. If that is the only plant you have going, then yeah, start again. But as growers we should always try push our skills and plants to the edge if we can. Yeah, maybe you want a bit far on the pushing over the edge part, but I've seen worse make a full blown recovery, for instance, mine was way worse on week 2-4 And even onwards she's 9 weeks old and only started stigma 14 days ago, my tangerine dream auto, she only has 5 nodes, and she's kicking ass!!!!
Try bring her back, and hey what's another few days to a week and if you can bring her back not in lu of getting any answers back to your question. Only you as a grower will know if you have the patience to bring her back, cause throwing in the towel, kind of an easy way out.
Me, I say continue on, push and push and try bring her back. My plant was way worse than that. I literally stalled her for 2 weeks without any growth, well hardly any.
Really, you should have left that dying growth and only taken it after you'd fixed her. Or decided what you needed to do. You have kinds limited your flush window and those dying leafs still had mobile nutes in them which could have sustained healthier growth.
Okay, since she's been defoled, ehhh, you could try topping her above the 3rd set of nodes or remove the 1st or even all the way up to the 2nd set, this will hopefully give your plant the boost of energy she needs to kick her back into growth. But only do this when you are happy that you have flushed salts and got your plant back out of nute lock. 24hrs drinking plane Jane water should be enough then start her back on 1/3 N-P-K and throw in some cal mag. Forget all fancy bloom nutes and micro nutes. You need to get marco nutes mobile again and P-K lock out stops all nutes as P-K controls uptske and m9vrmemt of water in your plant. It looks like a simple enough fix to me. Just 24hr flush, and then restart. Good luck.
