(apparently my plant thinks it's a dude) Defoliated pretty heavily toward the end of the week. partly to try to stunt growth a bit but also promote more growth once it kicks in. Got a log jam going in my flower tent and not sure what to do. May just designate 3 mothers then cram 3 in to flower in a few weeks when its opened up. This is what happens when you feel like you cant throw away anything that might be clone-able. I've gotten past it thankfully and learned a lesson in how to time things next time.

Sorry for the late update, everyone. Thank you for checking out the garden. This lady has absolutely exploded! I am anxious to see how her buds stack up over the coming weeks. She has been drinking and feeding so much lately that I went ahead and bumped her up to 75% nutes instead of just 50%. We will see soon how she handles them. I was getting crazy pH swings (down to 4.4) because of how heavy she had been feeding. With the tap water I have, the new nutes measure about 850-900 ppm, but tap is about 200, so ~700 ppm of actual nutes. growing rapidly 1st time using regs going well so far

As you can see, our macro lens arrived, we were able to take several photos and see the trichomes, we had never seen them so close before. We also noticed that many pistils have turned brown in the last days of this week but the trichomes are clear yet. The smell is getting stronger, reminds us of fresh fruits, mango and a little citrus. We are excited, she is healthy and smells good, but a little concerned with the development of buds and if they are within the standards for this week. Despite having many trichomes and the pistils turning brown, we are not noticing a significant fattening of the flowers (correct us if we are wrong). hahaha, noob stuff =)

Well it's all gone to shit. Water temps can't be controlled with lights turned up..so turned the 1000w dimluxs off and now running just 4x 400w hps..had to stay in veg..given the roots and good wash and bath in alien rot x solution. Filter on circulation pump blocked with the gunge that's come off the roots..cleaned and refitted. 2 weeks before bigger chiller arrives. Keeping temps below 19c with lights turned down. Fingers crossed the roots recover nicely..

Another good week!! I defoliated the smaller of the 2 plants mid-week... I think she is doing very fine. A small hiccup with the feed that same night. Only a few leaves are showing any sign on nutrient burn. I went ahead and fed them again today. I plan on watering them in a day or two... they were very thirsty this afternoon!! So, I definitely need to up the watering. I've still been feeding 3 quarts twice a week. Otherwise, all seems to be going well!! They are frosting up very nicely!! So exciting!! Peace!! Update for grow question: @The8thChevron thanks!!! I pulled them and will hope for the best for now. So close to the finish line. If I see more trouble brewing I will pull the plant. Luckily, this far into flower it shouldn't be too much of a concern at this point. This late in our growing season I always worry about Boytris, especially with cultivars that have really dense and tightly grouped flowers as our weather is now turning cooler and wetter. 9/8- I'm continuing to water the Wedding Cheesecake FF in the mornings on days that we do not get any substantial rain with well water via the garden hose. Today I went through the plant and removed a bunch of old dead leaves, along with any shade leaves that were totally yellow. I did not water today as we had a good amount of rain yesterday and the soil is still really moist. 9/10- My daily routine of watering, removing dead foliage and checking over the flowers continues. The aroma coming off of the Wedding Cheesecake FF is really loud now and you can definitely pick up some subtle hints of her Cheese lineage in it! 9/12- With Five weeks of flowers now behind her, the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower only has 2-3 more weeks to go (weather permitting) and she's on track to be an enormous yielding plant! Grow is coming along well, though the Black Devil is still lagging behind IMO. I think the strain maybe isn't too impressed with being Main-Lined? Either way she's hungry so I gave her some bokashi, clover leaf trim and worm castings. Next week is main dry amendment feeding so the girls will get everything they need. Couple more weeks and the Northern light should make it's way around the entire pot, then if it's tall enough, I'm putting them into flower. Some weird shit on the microscope today; videos above.

They are happily growing had some problems with powdery mildew but got kinda rid of that atleast thats what I hope Date: 4.9.2024
