Everything is coming along as planned apart from my car eating one of the little girls. I’ve noticed a few flies building up on the top layer of the soild so I have ordered some neem oil and hopefully that’s should sort them out. At the moment they are in the sun on the balcony until 2pm then I move them into the bedroom until the sun goes down. The weather has been on and off this week but they are still getting a minimum of 12 hours per day.

All three are coming along, slowish. The weather hasn’t not been great for the past week but I’ve been moving them through to my spare room for as much evening sun as possible. For now the two smaller girls are being separated in the morning and in the evening. The larger one I’ve started to measure out 75ml and pour that around the base. My neem oil arrived late last week and yesterday I made up some solution. 1L water mixed with 40ml of neem oil. I sprayed the top soild (not on the plant) in all three posts last night and this evening. I wouldn’t say all flies are gone but it’s made a difference. Here’s to what I hope will be a nice sunny week! All the best!

So things have been pretty slow again this week. We’ve had lots of cloud here this week (although the forecast was sun) but the week coming promises sun. The condition of all 3 ladies is good. I had a slight problem with flies in week 3 but I bought some neem oil and after diluting 3ml of neem oil with 300ml water and a few drops of washing up liquid, I sprayed it on the top soil for the past week and things have improved big time. I’m seeing the odd flie but thats fine for me. So finger crossed for a good week of sun and enjoy whatever it is you are doing.

Hello guys and girls. What a difference a week of good weather can make. All 3 of the ladies are pushing on really well and are all green and clean. I’ve continued applying neem oil to the top soil and the flies have totally gone. I’ve been upping the water every other day. Currently the large super skunk is taking 1L, small super skunk and the snow Ryder are on 500ml. With this being my first grow im just taking it day by day in regards to watering. All feedback is always welcome. All the best! Cannabud

This week has been a little bit of a rollercoaster ride. To start off with the weather has been great but my cat was hungry. He decided one sunny morning to enjoy a few leaves from my large super skunk plant. No major damage caused and it was my own fault for leaving the door open. As I said, the weather has been great and the girls are loving it. Nice growth this week on all 3 and the water increase seems to be going down a treat. Currently I’m just going with 1 litre and then checking every other evening for who needs a top up. Nothing much else else report so here’s to another sunny week! All the best.

Currently I am watering in the evening. Is it better to water in the morning? I get the sun hitting the plants at 8am so I’m always concerned if I water in the morning the sun will cause some damage.

Yes, water in the morning only if the soil requires it. Stomata is at its widest during low light so having it open when you first water draws up most of the moisture for the day. This is a natural process in nature. It doesn’t need to rain in the morning for this to happen as long as there is moisture in the soil. But it’s better to provide fresh oxyegenated water, which is why in the morning is best. Looking great for a window grow man!!

Hi ladies and gents, how time goes by. This week has been another good week for the girls. The weather has been perfect. My flowering Super Skunk is coming along well. Currently giving her 1L of water every other day. The other SS is still in Veg but I’d say she’ll start to flower this week. With the weather so hot at the moment she is on 750ml every other day. The Snow Ryder is flowering we’ll but I noticed some mildew the other morning so I cleaned her up with diluted neam oil and looks like that did the trick. No cat issues this week, thankfully. Suggestions/advice always welcome.

Good Day! So this week has been another excellent one in regards to the weather and growing. The girl have been enjoying high 20’s from 9am through until 9pm. My ‘big’ super skunk is flowering really well. I’ve removed some leaves to thin her out a little. She seems to have taken to that ok. I think I did underwater her yesterday and late evening sun crisped a few of her leaves. A big drink tonight. I have to say I’m really happy so far with how she’s turning out. The other super skunk has outgrown the ‘big’ one by 15 cm now and she’s doing really well. I might start a seperate diary for her. Snow Ryder is also coming along really well with her flowering. PLanted at the same time as the superskunk but id say she’s 1 week behind but obviously that’s nothing to worry about. One thing i have been thinking is popping a couple more seeds and seeing if I can squeeze it in. The weather has been so good this summer I don’t see the harm in trying. Short and sweet this week.

Good Day All. Everything this week has been very good. The weather has been ridiculously hot and that’s done wonders for the girls but they did get a little fried on one of the days. I’m still watering in the morning with 1.5l of high quality H2O. Through the past week I have been taking off a few ‘dead’ leaves here and there just to thin it out a little. Super Skunk (1) - I’m really happy with how it’s coming along. I’ve had no issues with her this week what so ever. Snow Ryder - is still slightly behind but I’m not bothered about that. I thinned her out a little to let the light get in a little better. Super Skunk (2) - this is now 40cm taller than the others. I’m putting this down to the amount of sun she got through veg. I’m going to start a seperate diary for her. As a little trial I’ve tied her down a little. I’m not sure of the correct terminology. So far im really happy with what could be a successful grow. I did think I would be more eager for harvest time but I’m happy to let the days go by and enjoy the changes all plants are going through. All feedback is welcome. Suggestions on harvest/drying also appreciated. All the best. 🌱🌱🌱

Howdy! Another great week for the girls. Weather has helped them out and no complaints development side of things. Super skunk 1 is really close to being cut down. She’s really bulked up this week and getting really icy looking. Super skunk 2 is now 30cm taller than ss1. Flowering really nice. Snow Ryder isn’t coming along well and id say a couple of weeks yet. I was a little lazy with pictures today but I got a new scope so here are some shots from me messing about with that. Feedback is always welcome.

This week has been cooler and not so much sun. At this stage I’m not too worried but it would have been nice to have had the sun on the for the last week. All plants are developing really well. I had a little caterpillar problem on the larger super skunk but I think I’ve removed them all. For now im just patiently waiting to see some of those trichomes starting to going amber. I’m hooping this week she’ll be done and I can hang her up to dry. Take care!

So this morning I decided to call to cut the first of three down. I gave her a good trim and I’m really happy with the weight. Its currently sitting in my spare room drying out then I’ll attempt a cure. I’ll check back in when I have a little taste and let you all know how it goes. Thanks to everyone for the support. The community here have been nothing but helpful. All the best.

This week has been slow. Weather has been really bad. Superskunk is now dry and I’ve started the cure. Dry weight came in at 42g so I’m happy with that. I had a little sample tonight and it wasn’t a nice smoke. Snow Ryder shouldn’t be to long now but the weather doesn’t look to good this week. The second super skunk isn’t still going strong. I found a couple of caterpillars on her but not much damage.

Hi. This week nothing much happened growth wise. The Super Skunk is coming along well. I harvested the Snow Ryder on Sunday morning. After a good trim I had 210g wet on the scales. The super skunk I harvested 2 weeks ago has cured and is a really nice smoke. I’m really happy with how that turned out. So only the last super skunk to go and that’s my year done. The weather has to improve over the next week so fingers crossed. All the best.

So this is my last post for the year I’d say. Last week I cut the last of the 3 plants and I have to say I’m very happy with what I’ve harvested. Both strains I grew were easy enough, I’d say i had issues with the environment more than anything. This plant (Super Skunk) was 308g wet and 89 dry. Snow Ryder was 190 wet and 48dry. The early Super Skunk was 180 wet and 40 dry As I’ve mentioned, for only water and sun im happy with that. Thanks to everyone who helped and followed. Until next year. 🌲🌲🌲
